I hired Cambium Tree Experts last year to remove a fallen tree from my backyard, trim some trees over my home, and attach a safety cable to one of the trees. Unfortunately, my experience with this company was extremely disappointing and frustrating.

From the start, their communication was poor as they took weeks just to confirm an initial service date with me, they then changed it last minute without adequate notice citing issues with their equipment. It took repeated communication from me to get any answers from them. When they finally arrived for service, the crew began working without confirming what needed to be done with me. I was at home and was startled to the sound of heavy machinery driving through my yard.

To make matters worse, while leaving my property, their truck slammed into my fence causing damage. They did not inform me of the accident, but since I was home I heard it and went outside to see the damage myself. Despite contacting the company about the damage in August of last year and seeing that my message was read, I received no response until almost a year later.

I spoke with Brian on the phone and he told me he would come to my home to check the damages. After a week of hearing nothing from him (a common experience with this company) I received an email from the company stating that they had “repaired” the fence. I had only agreed for someone to come inspect the damage, not to perform any repairs. This unauthorized access felt invasive and highly unprofessional.

I strongly advise caution when dealing with Cambium Tree Experts. Their unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and disregard for customer property are unacceptable. I will not be using their services again and do not recommend them.

Cambium Tree gave me a very fair price and worked promptly and communicated appropriately throughout the estimate and job process. We had them remove three large diseased trees and prune a magnolia away from the house -- a large job requiring multiple days and disassembly and reassembly of the fence. I highly recommend them and will use them again if I ever need a good arborist

Came for an estimate at 11am, to have a big, scary limb removed that was hanging over my house. Price was spot on, AND they could be here in an hour! DONE! Professional, friendly, and they cleaned it up like they weren't even here. Very good to work with these folks. So when someone asks me "you got a tree guy?" I can say that I do.

After working with us on scheduling, Cambium took down three trees on our property, including a very large oak very close to our house. We were impressed by the skill needed to complete the job as well as the care taken to clean up after they were done, especially given how reasonable the cost was. We are very happy with the results!

Brian and his team did an awesome job taking out two huge trees that were hanging over our house and doing some necessary maintenance on several other trees on our property. What sets them apart is their knowledge of how to keep trees healthy overtime. Brian recommended I apply a specific fertilizer around a large tree that we have that is in decline, and identified some fungal issues that can be addressed to get the tree healthy again. Many arborists would have probably recommended we remove the tree. Brian is very strategic and selective with how he trims and manages trees to improve their health. They don’t up charge to try and get you to remove as many trees as possibly like many do. They are very reasonably priced as well. Brian also used his equipment to pull up an old fence and remove some bushes for us. They are great communicators and showed up on time. I would recommend them to anyone that cares about their trees and property!

These guys are great, so professional and easy to work with while I described my plans. They came out right away and gave me a good price for 4 trees. The team arrived when they were scheduled and only left me with a few piles of mulch for my garden beds. Also they treated me respectfully as a woman, even though my husband was around, who knew what I wanted done in my yard. I highly recommend Cambium and will hire them again for my tree work.

I selected Cambium to remove a diseased tree. The tree was roughly 80-100 feet in height and towered over our house. The first person I met from the company was David. David gave me a fair price (600 lower than any other offer I had received). David was friendly, knowledgable, and down right humorous. I received the estimate on Wednesday and the tree was taken down the following day. Brian and his crew did a great job. Brian was finishing up at the house when he looked up and noticed a branch that he had cut earlier. The branch was caught up in the adjacent tree. Brian could have very easily ignored the small branch and continued packing up. Instead, Brian climbed back in the bucket truck and ascended 50 feet to remove the branch. Wow!

Brian saved our Maple Tree via proper pruning!
He set expectations up front, answered all my questions (alot!) was very reasonably priced & is a nice guy. On our initial meeting I did not feel rushed at all. Also He certainly knows his trees! Most companies in this area have arborists to give an estimate but the arborists do not do the actual work. DONT make this mistake like I did 5 years ago. If your tree has specific pruning needs, make sure a licensed arborist is actually on site doing the pruning. If you want your tree pruned properly, Brian at Cambium Tree Service is your man! I 100% recommend him & will definitely be using him for all my future tree needs.

I was lucky enough to chose Cambium tree service! I had a100ft red oak which was decaying. BRIAN and his Crewe took on the project. They were awesome! They worked all day. After 8 hours they finished and removed all debris and returned yard back to original shape. THEY did a fantastic job and left me smiling. The price was almost half of other estimates. I highly recommended them for any tree service😁😁😁

I paid in advance to clean my mom's pants that had gotten lipstick all over them because somebody at her place didn't check the pockets before washing them. The pants were not ready when I went to pick them up on two separate occasions last week. They told me they will keep trying to get the stains out. I pick them up today and the stains are still there. I was told that they were starting to destroy the fabric with the treatments. I could not get a refund, not even a partial refund. Instead, I got the pants back... stained of course, thinning fabric. No apologies, no remorse. What am I supposed to do with these pants now??
