Thorough, competent and no nonsense I had two great Mr. Appliance associates come out to our home recently to fix a dishwasher and range and both Jerod and Kyle were knowledgeable and repaired the items in a very reasonable time. I would highly recommend them! John

Great experience! From the moment I called to the finished repair.
They answered right away , very professional got me on the schedule right away for the same week.
Stephen introduced himself as soon as I opened the door and he was very professional, polite and with a smile on his face.
He explained what he was going to do and showed me what he found and how it was fixed tested out a few circles and we were good to go.
Thank Stephen!! I will recommend him 💯 -
You can schedule an appointment online for morning or afternoon. Great. But it's a bait and switch. Then you get a text saying that morning or afternoon is actually not an available choice and that you have to call. Come to find out, after calling into some loud call center where it is difficult to hear and understand the operator, Mr. appliance will choose a time between 8 AM and 3 PM for you. I chose morning online? 3 pm is not the morning. I can be available in the morning or the afternoon but I can't be available all day for you. There are other businesses in town. You website experience is awful, sets the wrong expectations, and is making extra work for me. Good luck with that.

Will not give repair prices, scummy business model. I already know what I need repaired and they refused to give a quote at what that might cost. They are hoping that you get stuck with them because they want to charge their diagnostic fee. AVOID AT ALL COST

I called and they came out the next day. My technician, Jay, was very nice and did a great job. Highly recommend for any appliance repair!

I found Mr. Appliance to be excellent. They were prompt providing a text and picture of our Technician. Appliance was our dryer, by providing the make/model the Technician had the potential repair parts and walked me through the testing process to find the defective part and repaired the unit quickly. Glad to have prompt service two days before Christmas.

My new Samsung refrigerator started acting up right after the warranty ended, and I didn’t want to risk calling just any handyman. Jerod from Mr. Appliance came out, quickly figured out the issue, ordered the part, and got everything fixed without any drama. He was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I’d definitely call him again if needed.

Very easy to setup an appointment online. Appointment was within two days. Mr. Appliance sent us a picture of our technician (Branden) and time frame for his arrival. He arrived on schedule. He was able to determine problem, advised us of estimated cost and verified he had the parts available in his truck. Very professional and his product knowledge was top notch. He was a very courteous young man. Made repairs and reassembled dryer. We will be using Mr. Appliance for any future appliance repairs. We highly recommend them.

Absolute Nightmare - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been, without a doubt, the most frustrating consumer experience of my entire life.
The "Service" (or lack thereof): We had a technician come out and repair our fridge. We got charged way over $1,000.00 for a replacement part - just to realize that the problem was not solved. After various additional visits, the technician gave up - and said there is no solution. At that point we (of course) asked for a refund. That’s when the ‘service’ stopped. Entirely.
The Phone Hell: Trying to get an update is a full-time job. I have spent a combined total of over six hours on hold with this company. When—and if—someone finally picks up, they are rude, dismissive, and constantly refer to a ‘manager’ (who is NEVER available, and ALWAYS in meetings…) needing to weigh in. Twice, I was "accidentally" disconnected after waiting 45 minutes. To call this frustrating does not even begin to cover the agony (and waste of time).
The Stalling: Every time I actually get a human on the line, the story changes. Every call ended with “We will do this by tomorrow.” or “You will hear from us by next week.” or “My manager will call you back this evening.” None of those things actually ever happened. It was blatantly obvious they are just stalling to keep the money without doing the work. It took us WEEKS to receive the refunds.
The Verdict: Save yourself the headache, the wasted time, and the money. Do not go into business with them. Find literally anyone else. -
Jerod arrived within a day of me requesting service. He quickly found a washing machine leak, fixed it with no issues, and got our machine back up and running in less than 30 minutes. I appreciated his expertise and friendly demeanor. Will definitely book again when required!

My review for Mr. Appliance concerns their way of giving estimates for $139. I have a 9 year old Bosch dishwasher that is giving me an E02 error code. On the Bosch website I already have an idea of the problem, what I wanted to know in calling for service, since I have this error code, what is a ballpark figure of the cost to repair. The DW cost me $586 9 years ago, is this an expensive repair ? Mr. Appliance will not tell you that. You call and you get a woman who tells you it is $139 to have a tech come out and give you an estimate. I explained I have an error code, but that means nothing to them, they want that $139. I called someone else and the actual owner called me back. He knew my model, how much it had cost me, and explained the parts and price situation with an E02 error code, in the area of $500. Everything he said made sense and I've decided to just buy a new DW. That is the service I expected. Why have error codes on modern appliances if they mean nothing when you call for service ?
In response to the owner's response. I understand that I was not talking to a technician, which is part of the problem. At the other company I got to talk to the owner/tech and he explained all the possibilities it could be, but was able to say that it was most likely in the area of $500, close to what I paid for the DW. If I had paid $139 to have someone come out I believe their estimate would have been in that same $500 ballpark and I still would not go ahead with the repair so I'd be out $139 for no reason. Even if they told me $300, I think $300 on a $586 DW is too much. It's that simple, the other company gives you free educated advice and this company wants $139 for their advice. I suggest you call someone else before paying that $139. -
Mr. Appliance have been here a few times.
I finally got my dryer up n running!
They are very professional, kind, understanding and always call to see if I’m satisfied. YES
I had 2?issues… VENT n then a part as it wasn’t heating up.
But, it’s done!’ Thank you. And the technicians are super nice. -
I normally don’t leave reviews, but this experience with this company was frustrating. I originally called because our washer needed a repair estimate. We already knew what the issue was and had the part removed, so we just needed someone to come out and provide a quote for the repair. I was told an estimate couldn’t be given over the phone (even after explaining the issue and that the part was already disassembled from the machine), so we scheduled a technician to come out.
When the technician arrived, he didn’t touch the washer or perform any type of inspection, which was fine since we were looking for a quote. He simply just provided a repair estimate of around $600ish for what would have been about a 30-minute to 1-hour replacement. That price felt quite high for the repair, and we ultimately ended up doing it ourselves.
After the visit, I was informed via phone call (after the appointment) that we owed a $139 diagnostic fee that had never been clearly explained to me beforehand. I understand that some companies charge for inspections/diagnosed but in this case that was not communicated beforehand.
I spoke with someone later on who acknowledged it was her mistake for not mentioning the fee upfront when I originally scheduled, but we were still expected to pay it. Again, I completely understand charging a diagnostic fee, but it should have been clearly communicated before the appointment was scheduled/when the tech came out.
What made this more disappointing is that the company’s website states they are transparent the costumers about pricing, which was not my experience. I also know that some companies will waive a fee when a mistake happens on their end, but that wasn’t the case here. I hope the company takes situations like this into consideration and improves communication about fees upfront so other customers don’t run into the same issue. -
100% reliable & gets the job done efficiently & professionally!

If this was the last Appliance repair company on the planet.. I would still buy the part myself and you tube how to fix it myself. These people have no respect for their clients time. We have been scheduled to have our dishwasher fixed 4 times and the first three times they were just no shows with no phone call from them to explain why or that they were not coming. This last time they were scheduled for 130pm and here it is 220pm and still no repairman. They were on time to ppick up the money on the initial visit... Since then, totally unreliable. Beware of this company...

Mr. Spurlock arrived exactly on time and repaired our new LG dishwasher which had been incorrectly installed by the Home Depot installers. Polite, friendly. I will not hesitate to call him if we have problems with any other appliances.
-
I scheduled with them because they were on the list with LG. I thought washer was properly repaired until 6-8 weeks later, when it started making the same loud noise that I paid to have him fix. After numerous unreturned calls and voicemails, I finally decided to purchase another washer. I could have put the repair money toward my new washer if he would have just said he couldn’t fix it.

James and the team at RVA repairs are best in the business, especially when dealing with high end appliances! He is knowledgeable and honest on what to expect… he isn’t afraid to recommend replacement over repair if that is right for you. I highly recommend RVA repairs if you want to fix your problem!

Purchased Speed Queen Washing Machine from them. Machine broke. Took them days to get the part. I understand. But the part came in and they had it for 10 days before coming to put it in. We were without a washing machine for over 2 weeks. Mechanic was all snotty about how busy he was; When I told him I had a check and would give it to him in 10 days, he had a fit and threatened to take the part back.
I recently called about another problem with the high end appliance that they sold me to find I have been placed on their no service list. I only wanted to enquire if it were still under warranty - I have no intention of ever using RVA repairs again. Mr Handyman is great! -
Staff is very friendly!!
