Great service.

They were incredibly easy to work with and promptly on time for my appointment. I would definitely use them again!

Not a chain, locally owned which I like. Bought a great refrigerator at a good price, pleasant easy transaction. Highly recommend.

We love having a working dishwasher! RVA Repairs went above and beyond with our issue. The price was fair. We had a great experience!

James is the best he installed our Wolf stove and converted it from natural gas to LP gas. I was not expecting to receive so much education and knowledge about my stove. If I had 10 stars on here I would hit it. Thank you James

Although I didn’t utilize RVA repairs, I really appreciated their fast response time in getting back to me! Unfortunately they didn’t service my appliance brand but after calling around town, they were hands down most responsive.

I had an appliance breakdown. I had another repair service come and “fix” it. It was broken again within a month. Mr. Hise came and did an evaluation. He ordered a part and installed it the next day. I never had a problem with the appliance again!

RVA Repairs diagnosed and fixed my older washer and dryer issues swiftly and very professionally. Russell answered all of my questions in very easy to understand language. I would highly recommend RVA Repairs to everyone!

I had a repair scheduled for October 5th between 8am-5pm. Once it was 4:42 and I received no call, I called the office and Faith answered the phone. I gave her my information and I was trying to explain to her that no one had called me or my husband and then she stated that our repair date was pushed back to October 14 and I was trying to give her my order number and to let her know that I was unaware of that’s date she continued to talk over me and then hung up. I called back 5 times before she answered and she answered the phone and said yeah I declined your order so another company can pick up your order. I ask for the owner and someone name James came to the phone. He seemed like he didn’t care at all that Faith was rude and he stated that I was the first person that ever stated that she was rude. I don’t know if she was having a bad day but as for me being a business owner her customer service is unacceptable and I would never recommend anyone to this company.
The reply back from the owner clearly states for itself that this company is very unprofessional. I was never mad about my appliances because it’s not broken. My Fridge has a recall on the ice maker and your company was supposed to come out on the schedule date which was today. I called your office just to let you know that no one had came out. I was very respectful to Faith she was already frustrated when she answered the phone. It explains why you have an unprofessional person answering your phone because you are unprofessional yourself. Why would I lie on this lady that I don’t know and my fridge is not broken so its not an urgent matter. I was calling to inform your company that no body showed and Faith was very nasty and rude. Have a blessed day and hope your company customer service gets better. -
Have you ever experienced Nordstrom Customer Service? RVA Repairs is the white glove of appliance repairs. From the first call to the when they left nothing but amazing! And when I asked about something I saw in youtube, he explained to me why I made the right choice in calling.
Thank you RVA Repairs -
James came out 2x to fix our wine cooler. We paid $226 and it still doesn't work. Now he claims, after charging us, that it isn't cost effective.
No testing took place he just replaced the thermostat and left.
Very unprofessional!! They did however offer to refund the part and then decided to rescind that offer. Here we sit with a wine cooler that doesn't work. Again why wasn't this tested at the time. We will dispute this charge with our credit card and NEVER do business with this firm again! -
Will never use again. When I called to make the appointment, neither my name or phone was written down. I was given the timeframe of 8am-10am.
I called multiple times at 9am, 9:15am, 9:20am to see when a technician was coming, but I kept getting voicemail. They weren’t calling me bc they never wrote my number down.
The technician arrived at 12:30pm. He blamed me for not leaving them a voicemail and charged me the full service fee even though he did zero work on my stove.
It really felt like a scam. -
UPDATE: COVID has us eating every meal at home, so i called RVA Repairs when my fridge started freezing all of my vegetables. They got it fixed in one trip and the on site repair was performed SUPER fast and in an extremely hygienic fashion. This company will help your family stay safe and have working appliances.
1000% recommend that you check out RVA Repairs not just for repairs...give them a call when you need to buy a need appliance!! Not only did Russell recommend the PERFECT IDEAL TOTALLY AWESOME washer and dryer combo for my very odd sized space, but he also installed the new units in no time flat. Considering that he also helped me find the perfect whisper quiet dishwasher, I can whole heartedly recommend contacting his company instead of shopping at a big box appliance store!! -
James knew exactly what was wrong with our 14 year old Wolf oven. He also repaired our oven in two related stages - to ensure that we didn't pay for repairs that were unneccessary. Honesty and integrity are really hard to come by these days, and I have total trust in James and RVA Repairs. Combined with clear and timely communication with Faith to set up apppointments, RVA Repairs is the ONLY service we will be calling in the future. Thank you James and Faith! We can now cook our turkey with confidence!!

I contacted RVA Repairs after getting a recommendation from a co-worker. My aging refrigerator had developed motor noises. RVA Repairs scheduled immediately to come out and help. The technician was very knowledgeable and quickly diagnoised the issue. I was back up and running with a quiet motor within a few minutes. I recommend RVA Repairs to everyone.

I have had RVA repairs fix or replace almost all of my appliances. They are always upfront about costs and if an appliance is worth fixing or not. One of the most honest repair companies I have ever worked with. They aren’t like other companies that will just keep coming and charging you if they know something isn’t fixable. Always courteous, on time and professional. If you ever have an issue with their service it’s probably a you problem and not a them problem.

RVA repairs was friendly and professional from the second they picked up the phone (direct to a live person) to the minute they finished service on our wall oven and refrigerator. Their timeline for initial troubleshooting, getting the part, and making the repair all happened in less than half the time another repair service noted it would take just for the initial consult. We're glad to have found RVA Repairs, especially in an era where poor customer experience seems to be the norm.

So far, so not-so-good. Bought a new Frigidaire range from Lowe's just before Christmas. Wasn't available until after Christmas (thank God!). Picked up and installed and immediately got an error code 45 when using the oven. Tried to call Frigidaire, which is IMPOSSIBLE, and ended up reporting the issue though chat. Frigidaire sent the ticket to another warranty repair company, but the work-order had a glitch: 2 different addresses and 2 different appliances. Knowing they would not get paid running the ticket, that company called me immediately and asked that I create a new ticket. Frigidaire, who really is terrible with customer service, denied they had an issue with their ticketing system and instead, sent it to RVA Repairs, who was supposed to contact me within 48 hours. After reaching out THREE TIMES, RVA finally booked the appointment for this week (2/6), > a month after the purchase and set-up, and roughly 2 weeks from when they received the WO from Frigidaire. The work-order and subsequent follow-up emails clearly stated "Error 45". Tech arrives this week, asks what the issues is, like I had not already reported TWICE, then states, "oh, that needs a control-board fan motor" after looking up the code. Of course he doesn't have that part and of course this is a "limited supply" part. "But don't worry, if there's a lead-time getting the part, we'll get right back to you". That was Tuesday. Now, COB Thursday, crickets. I expect to hear from RVA maybe next week, only to learn the replacement part for this brand new, $1100 range is weeks or months out. In the meantime, I can't use the oven, the Super Bowl is Sunday and nobody seems to really care. LAST Frigidaire / Electrolux purchase ever. DO NOT BUY. You are on your own. RVA Repairs - UNDERWHELMED.

As most are aware, getting repair service to come out to your home during the pandemic is a challenge. I saw RVA Repair had 5 stars so I thought "why the hell not?" I set up an appointment (Speed Queen washer) about two weeks out, they texted me to confirm about 2 days previous, called me within a 1/2 hour of arrival to let me know he was on his way, and showed up on time! The repair was done efficiently, professionally and at an extremely fair price. RVA Repair did a great job and, not that I look forward to something breaking in the future but if it does, having RVA Repair come back and save the day!

RVA Repairs' service, professionalism, honesty and reliability has made me a customer for life. Last summer, James came out to repair our 11-year old washer and quickly determined it was leaking and the repair would cost far more than would be worth it. We purchased a Speed Queen from them and have been so happy ever since. More recently, they came out and repaired our refrigerator. I can't recommend them highly enough.

RVA repair was efficient and prompt in repairing my refrigerator. They arrived exactly on time and quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue. Jason explained what he was doing to repair the fridge and how to be sure the problem did not occur again. Very professional and I would highly recommend RVA repair.
