We needed extra lighting installed throughout our new house, but every electrician we called had prices that were too high for our budget. Luckily, we found Melvin's Electric and talked through the project with them. They came out, offered a free estimate, and gave us a great deal. Shawn, Jace, and William handled the installation, and I can’t say enough good things—they were quick, professional, and made sure we were happy with where every single light was placed. They put in 22 lights in less than a day, and everything was organized and stress-free. Customer service was also excellent and made scheduling easy. I highly recommend this company for any electrical work!

We needed help getting our Generac generator working properly. Jace showed up fast, found a wiring problem, and fixed it right away. He also did a full service on the generator and set up regular maintenance checks to keep it running smoothly. He was very polite, tidy, and clearly knew what he was doing. The service was efficient and felt like good, old-fashioned personal care. I would definitely call Melvin's Electric again for any electrical needs.

Mercury Electric was hired by the seller to complete repairs for a home I purchased. The electrician stated he relabeled load center, installed junction boxes, covered splices in the attic, replace receptacles, and ground them. The electrician didn't complete any of the work he charged the seller for. The listing agent assured me it would be corrected, however months later I'm still waiting. I've called the company multiple times, and I haven't received a response.

You should instruct the drivers of your utility vehicles to yield when they don’t have a green arrow. Your van almost just hit me head on right on Bethlehem. How can you be this careless within a half a mile of the office?

Some of the electrical outlets in two adjoining bedrooms sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. I called the company we usually use, and they were booked up, so they recommended Metro. I called them midday last Friday, and was told a team would arrive around one p.m. I did not expect someone to be able to come on such short notice. They arrived, assessed the situation, and was able to replace the faulty receptacles. They were very nice, polite, and professional. When I received the invoice, I was expecting it to cost far more than I was charged. I will certainly be calling them for future needs and recommending them to others.

Very impressed with their work! I had an urgent need in my house for electrician so we could turn the power back on. I was having problems being able to find anyone on such short notice on a Monday but Nick was able to send two guys out same day to get everything fixed!

Had a chandelier rewired at Shades of Light and they recommended Metro and no one else. I now see why. Greg and Nick were able to do the installation sooner than expected due to a cancellation and did a superb job. Cheerful professionalism from all involved. Recommended without reservation.

Metro Electric was recommended to us. Spoke with Nick, who was friendly and quick to respond. He sent two of his guys to install our 50 lb chandelier 18 feet above the floor. The guys were super to work with and had the fixture installed and operating in a short period of time.

5* is not nearly enough for the job Dante & Hunter did today, from Metro Electric. They were nothing short of phenomenal!!! They came to install many lights in our new home & I can't say enough about how a-mazing they were. They both were so personable, so professional, so kind, so respectful, were meticulous, making sure every light was hung perfectly, checked in throughout the day making sure I was happy & were super clean & organized as they went along. I definitely recommend this company, these two guys & would absolutely use them again. It's rare to find people with this level of customer service anymore & I was blown away by them. Metro is incredibly blessed to have these two working for them!!!

Amazing company with great people - respectful, responsive, high quality, attention to detail. Everything you could want. We had them do a very major lighting and electrical project throughout our home when we first moved in and were renovating. We have since hired Metro Electric to do outside lighting, outside electric receptacles and even rewire our room so that our treadmill would work. It is rare that I leave reviews, but Nick and his Metro Electric team deserve it!
