We were experiencing power issues in our living room so I called several companies to utilize their expertise and get the issues fixed. J&M was one of the only companies to answer their phone and get me set up with an appointment right away (they actually came by within 24 hours which was great!). Jason came by the house the very next day and was right on time which I very much appreciated. He fixed the issues we were having in no time flat and also quickly worked up quotes for projects that would help improve the efficiency of our home's electricity. Jason was very polite and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend J&M to anyone needing electrical services.

Small job with an unreasonable short timeline. “No problem.” These folks fit us into their very tight schedule. What a great group from receptionist to technicians. After looking for a new electrician for seven years, we finally found them. Leave the “monster” companies alone.👍👍👍

Another great experience with J&M Electrical! Quick scheduling, walked us through the alternatives, scheduled us in less than a week. Managed our time window replaced four fans in less than three hours including clean up. A masterful job! Still five ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ s in our books. Thank you!

Excellent service from Jason at J&M. Very personable, quick with a solution, and while investigating he not only noticed an entirely unrelated (non-electrical) home problem but gave me clear instruction on how to resolve it with a quick visit to the hardware store. Will continue to use J&M for future projects based on this experience.

Jason came early to an appointment, first class service, recognized the problem immediately and called Dominion Energy to escalate and had them at our house in 30 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and we’re happy to now have an electrician we can call!

Jason is an absolute rock star! J&M is our go-to company for electrical work and it’s because of Jason. Our main breaker kept tripping and needed to be replaced. We already had Jason do an estimate for a whole-home generator for us so he knew that installing a 200a transfer switch instead of simply replacing the breaker would save us money in the long-term. Knowing that we had a cold weekend coming up and a little one in the house, he prioritized our install to ensure that we had reliable power to keep the heat running. He came quickly, on time, and he was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and finished the job in two hours. Five stars, can’t recommend highly enough!

Disappointing experience, would not recommend.

My elderly in-laws (nearly 80 years old) had a two-year service agreement with J & M Electrical. The first year of service was completed, but the property was sold in December 2024 when they moved into assisted living. Despite the circumstances, no refund was offered for the unused portion of the contract.

To make matters worse, J & M returned to the property in May 2025, after it had already changed hands, and sent us a bill for replacing a battery during routine maintenance — something we never authorized.

This experience shows a lack of flexibility and care, especially toward older customers navigating major life transitions. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for professionalism or compassion.

The best investment I ever made was a generec generator installed and maintained by J&M. They provide great service and all of the technicians are polite and informative. The office also gives wonderful service. I have had generator for more than 10 years.

We were extremely pleased with the care and service provided by J&M Electrical. They were quick to service our electrical panel that needed to be replaced. Jason was extremely helpful when we had an issue with one of the breakers used for the pool pump. He was able to obtain the replacement and fix the issue the same day. He kept us updated throughout the entire process. Highly recommend! We will definitely be using them for any future needs!

Jason Gay was my electrician from J&M. He was first off very prompt and professional. He spoke to me in layman terms so l have a full understanding of what was needed. He found the issue within seconds. He was straightforward with me and didn't push to get more money out of me. Hands down the easy and best electric service ever had.

I have had my generator for almost 5 years. When J&M installed it for me, they did an awesome job. Their employees were courteous, knowledgeable and quick. They come every year to do maintenance on it and make sure "all is good". I would recommend them to anyone. Great company.

J & M Electric sent out a person to review our Electric needs. We received an estimate for the job within two days and After Submitting a 50% down payment for the job, we were scheduled for the work to be done a Week later. The electrician And his assistantarrived within a half an hour of their appointment time and did an excellent job addressing each of the issues in the contract. They were cordial, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. We appreciated their efforts and are happy with their Work. We would certainly hire J and M ElectricFor future needs. CLR.
