Review is overdue. In the summer our first floor unit stopped working just after moving into our house. I called several companies but decided to go with Nick at FCE because of all the positive reviews. He showed up on time, diagnosed the problem and replaced the bad part within 30 minutes. The price was very fair. I asked him his thoughts on replacing the furnace and AC unit because it was noted as something to keep an eye on in our home inspection report given its age. Nick suggested that I get through both a cooling and heating season first before considering replacement. I appreciated that honest advice as he didnt press me with replacing the unit now like other companies that I’ve dealt with in the past had done. I will be using FCE for all my electrical and HVAC needs going forward.

Nick was nice, responsive, and gave an honest quote. He showed up, determined the issue was actually very minor, and suggested that I save my money. He then gave me tips on how I could easily resolve the issue, if I decided I wanted to do it myself. I'll definitely reach out to him again when a real issue comes up!

Nick at First Call Electric always exceeds my expectations in price, time, and quality of work. Nick came out the same day we called and fixed a problem with our HVAC system for an extremely reasonable price. We had previously been quoted several hundred dollars more from a big name company- who told us several things were wrong with our system, which Nick informed us were working fine. He was honest and professional. We won’t be calling anyone else from now on.

This is as satisfied as I've been with any sort of service work in quite a while. My electrical problem turned out to be a little tricky to resolve but Justin & Chris approached it methodically, determined the problem and fixed it. This was on top of replacing 4 GFCI outlets, which is what I'd originally called them for.

When I bought my new home, I found that my furnace went bad almost immediately. Nick (owner) went above and beyond to make sure that it was replaced as soon as possible. Replaced my thermostat as well, and entire unit out back for a way more than fair price. Called them later on to replace the fuse panel for the house when it blew! Call them for whatever you need. You won't be let down by price or service! Will be using them again.

Nick was very responsive when I was getting quotes, which ultimately influenced our decision to go with him. The team did a good and quick job installing four new recessed lights and replacing a fan. The day after we changed our mind on the hue of the lights and the dimmer setup, and Nick came back within hours of me calling him to resolve my concerns.
