Molly Maid - They do a great job until they don't anymore. Just wait for it.

When they are good they are very good. Unfortunately, Molly Maid teams are incredibly inconsistent. They've been coming here alternate weeks for 2+ years and have left my home sparkling clean, spotless, all over neat, and ready for guests. Priceless! AND they have left a trail of noticeable smears, dirty floors, streaky mirrors, rumpled rugs, and crooked wall art, table runners, lampshades, etc. It once took over an hour cleaning & straightening up behind them (usually it takes 15-30 mins) on all three floors shortly before weekend guests arrived.

There is little consistency and little, if any, quality control. One person should be in charge of checking the home to insure it's to the owner's specifications. Sounds like a simple fix, but it's a mystery instead. They've been doing this cleaning business for YEARS, yet still make the same careless mistakes.

The front office tells me that they will pass my requests on to the ladies showing up that day. But my requests should already be in my account notes. Still, several times over 2 years I've requested by text and calls that they always turn off lights that they turned on when they entered. Most times they leave on those lights, like when we were gone for 2 weeks. It baffles me that they can't get it right. Maybe other clients want their lights on and I'm the weirdo? But maybe because it's a new team?

Usually there is a member from the old team on the new team but it doesn't seem to matter. When a new MM team cleaned my home, they made the same rookie mistakes as the old MM team did in the beginning. It takes weeks to get them on track, but later another new team arrives and it's back to basics again. Withheld screams puncture my throat.

Molly Maid certainly is NOT trying to lose business, and I don't think the ladies are awful. They are very nice. And they do need to spend as little time as possible in any one home, so that they can get to every home on their list. The business model is to give clients a super fast wipe down for a very modest price. In and out. Not bad. Just keep in mind that on the days that they are super busy, they will do a lousy job. They do a great job until they don't anymore. Just wait for it.

Wow! This was our first time having a cleaning done by Molly Maid. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but we were stunned by how much of a difference it made. The cleaning crew showed up on time, brought everything they needed, and went right to work. Two hours later, I can honestly say that our house has never been cleaner. They definitely do a good job on all of the "big ticket" items, but they also seemed to have a knack for picking out all of the little things that you "wished you would get to", but never really have time to clean (ceiling fans, baseboards, bookshelves, door handles, blinds, etc). The smile on my wife's face made it all worth it. Well done, Molly Maid. We're hooked.

For the past 5 years Vanessa has always been on time & does an excellent job cleaning the house every time.

Molly Maids connected with me before any of the other agencies I contacted, they had our first cleaning almost immediately, and that cleaning was completed beautifully by a wonderful employee.

I started using Molly Maids when an illness left me with mobility issues. They did such an amazingly great job that I've continued the service long after becoming well again. My home is fresh and clean after every visit from Tiana . . . she is like an angel!

Team 6 (Flor and Beta) is the team that usually cleans my home. They always do a really good job of cleaning my home and keeping it that way. And, in the bathroom, after they clean, they make some nice flower out of toilet paper and keep it there as a mark and we appreciate that.

Thank you, Molly Maid! Mirian and Sandy were the incredible team that came and deep cleaned our house. We live in a dusty ol' place with three shedding animals, and now our house looks shinier and cleaner than ever. Highly recommend!

The two ladies who came to clean my home after nasty tenants moved out was amazing 😉 I was a little doubtful at first, plus this was my first time using a cleaning service. I was completely satisfied my cabinets look like new again 😁 my appliances look absolutely incredible like new. Thank you so much for the time and care you put into my home.

The cleaners came for 2.5 hours and did an amazing job on my 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home. They cleaned the bathrooms, made the beds, dusted, vacuumed, wiped down blinds, cupboard doors - everything! I was extremely pleased with their attention to detail.

When scheduling, I specifically asked for the bathroom and kitchen to be cleaned because I have a newborn ans I would like those areas extremely clean. The wooden floors were to be mopped & I was guaranteed completion.

I was not present at the first cleaning, however the house was unfurnished and I was moving in the following business day.When I arrived the floors were still visibly dirty. I was able to take a baby wipe and it turned grey after wiping the floors.

The women came back I pointed out the areas. I was then told they were not allowed to scrub on their hands and knees and referred to another cleaning service without a partial/refund.

The office manager (Laura) response was the house is too old & dirty for them to clean and they do not clean textured flooring. In addition, it's the maids fault for not mopping with soap & water; they have the supplies. She refused to take responsibility for her staff & spoke to me as if it was my responsibility to be present and instruct the ladies in cleaning while I tend to my 4 month old.

I am highly disappointed and dissatisfied with their quality of work and their customer service. I suspect this is not the first time they have provided poor quality work because I called Ashland Molly Maids thinking it was capital city milky Maids and the manager there immediately stated I wanted the Forest Hill location and they were not owned by the same person without looking for my information. I suggest another cleaning service if you are looking to have your house cleaned.

I've tested out 3 or 4 different cleaning services and this Molly Maid location is by far the most thorough, detailed and time efficient. They're always punctual, friendly and work extremely hard, every visit. Not to mention they're half the price of the other places we'd tried out. I've had them cleaning both my home and office for the past few years and will continue to do so for years to come.

Any negative reviews on here for Molly Maid are probably from their competitors or some teenager looking for attention. Don't believe it. These guys are fantastic.

Sometimes it feels impossible and overwhelming to stay on top of all that needs to be done at home. When Molly Maid comes, everything feels better. The smell of clean and watching them wipe down my kids' bedroom doors and hearing my shower being scrubbed spotless is just what I needed this week. They were friendly and on time and very thorough.

Team 6 cleans my house once a month. They do a great job and are very quick, thorough and friendly. It is an affordable price too. It gives me the extra help I need since I am a busy working and taking care of a baby :)

Vanessa has cleaned my home for several years now, is always on time and always thorough. She is kind, courteous has a great work ethic and is conscientious. Vanessa also follows through with specific directions like if i ask her to use a particular type of cleaner that i leave out for her.

Team no. 4 did an excellent job of cleaning my sister’s house. Two very professional and friendly ladies.

5/15/22 So I received my overpayment refund in the mail via check for $50. Not sure where my $10 is because I explained to the manager that I gave $60 for my refrigerator being cleaned although it was part of the $165 service and was told that I would receive a refund for my $60. Again unprofessional and doesn’t stand by their word along with poor service. Yea it’s just $10 but it’s my $10 dollars owed to me. I did not leave a tip so my full overpayment of $60 should have been refunded.

I gave a one star because they showed up. This company may be a familiar name but they are not professional and the service provided in an empty home was below average. I expected a high level of quality cleaning and should have probably gone with a private cleaning company. Just like the many known restaurants, quality has definitely gone down since covid and no one is taking pride in their business or work anymore. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone of my friends or family members and would suggest they find a private company. I was also overcharged and had to block my number in order for someone to answer the phone after I didn’t hear back from management. SO UNPROFESSIONAL and ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Never use this cleaning company. I paid for a detailed cleaning but absolutely nothing was done. The ladies walked out of the house & left while I was waiting for them to vacuum. The bathrooms &
kitchen looked exactly the same way as they were before they came. I overheard the ladies talking to each other, and agreeing not to give me a customer satisfaction survey! Their manager told me that she would call me back but never called back. I asked for a refund and they have refused. I could have done a better job myself if I had the time. I am extremely disappointed and would NEVER use this company or recommend them to anyone. Please save your money everyone!

I really appreciated all the hard work of Team 1! We have never had a professional cleaning service before and they deep cleaned so well, I can't even describe how nice it was to have them clean our home. I'm looking forward to continuing regular cleaning services with Molly Maid!

I have used Molly Maid for about a year now- they come once a month for a deep clean of the house. They always do an excellent job and are very thorough. On top of this, they are very professional, quick, and efficient. Been very happy with the service and will continue to use them.

Very disappointed! I have never written a review in my life. However, I was so disappointed with recent services and being mishandled by molly maid staff. I used molly maid years ago and the service was good. I decided to go back to them after my family grew and the cleaning became too much for the private lady I used.

The team that came for the initial “deep clean” was nice and did a mediocre job from what I could see before they left. After they left I realized there were a few rooms that weren’t even entered, the kitchen sink was not cleared or cleaned, things that were sprayed such as the shower door was not wiped after being sprayed, and the beds looked like 6 year olds made them.

I contacted Molly maid immediately and explained my concerns. This initial call went well. Brittany assured me that someone would reach out to me that day to rectify the matter. After a couple days passed and no one had reached out I contacted them. Well this time I got Laura. Laura was nasty and unprofessional! She inaccurately reported to me that I complained about their services years ago when I used them as if I was to blame. She also responded to my concerns by making excuses saying that there is a difference between making a bed and straightening the beds and they don’t make beds. When I explained that I already explained the situation to Brittany and wasn’t expecting a list of excuses she became agitated and raised her voice. When I confronted her about her poor customer service, she stated that I was disrespectful and stated “i don’t know if I want to work with you.” She then hung up on me twice as I called back to ask for a refund for the services. Finally, she said she would have the owner “deal” with me because she didn’t want to work with me. A day later after the owner hadn’t reached out to me I contacted them. Laura was all of a sudden over herself and said the owner would offer me half off my next cleaning. I asked to speak with the owner regardless and later requested to speak to the owner for a refund. The thought that I would willingly place myself in a situation to deal this with with abusive front desk staff after paying for a service is absurd. I have called back several times and have yet to speak with Clint, the owner. Do not use this service. I am disgusted at how I was treated. You should not have to go through this with people you are should be able to trust with your home. I will be disputing the charges with my bank.

Team#3: Joselyn, Wendy and Diana are well organized, efficient, prompt, courteous and friendly. They are truly an asset to Molly Maid. Their example should be used as a guidance for training other Molly Maid staff. Molly Maid should be very proud of Team #3.
