I hired Royal cleaning to handle some major dust throughout our home after refinishing our hardwood floors. It was everywhere. They did an excellent job over two days to clean our home before the movers returned our furniture. I’d definitely call them again for another cleaning job.

Royal Cleaning Services did an outstanding job on my house cleaning. They were thorough, efficient, and paid attention to every detail, leaving my home spotless and fresh. The team was professional and courteous throughout the entire process. I am extremely satisfied with their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of top-notch cleaning services.

!!! BEWARE !!! Do better research than I did before choosing this company to do a job! I own Hogshead Cafe on W. Broad St. in RVA (feel free to contact me about details on our experience) Our tile floors were in desperate need of cleaning. I turned to a professional company to take care of the task. When Ms. Wanda & company came to see the space, she stated they could get the floors sparkling clean, (machine clean) then provided a quote. As a small business owner, I decided to also hire a small business for the job. As others stated in recent reviews, this company DOES NOT have the proper cleaning equipment for jobs they take on but you will be lead to believe they do. Layers of dirt/grease/grime needed to be steamed & machine cleaned. They arrived with SWIFFER MOPS & SPRAY BOTTLES! When I asked one of the gentleman working on the floor if they would be polishing it with a machine, he said no, we were told we wouldn’t be doing that. That was my whole point of hiring a professional, to come with the right equipment to do the job. My Staff was flabbergasted at what the floors looked like for $1750. We could’ve done that ourselves if SWIFFER mopping would’ve gotten it clean. No attention to detail around baseboards or stationary fixtures at all. (pics provided) We had to clean it up again after they left, as it was in such sad shape. I was unable to be there to see it when they left to ask questions. My Staff was unsure how to handle what they saw. End of the story is, the floors looked worse than when they started. Completely dull with no shine, lots of dirty water marks left from shuffling a SWIFFER over it. Cloudy, streaky marks, grease still caked in grout, absolutely no attention to detail on any corner work. Ms. Wanda said they could try to come back & get all the spots they missed, albeit not offering to help move the furniture & redo the floor with the PROPER equipment. A $50 deduction was given after I declined having her team come back with SWIFFER MOPS. There are many other QUALITY small businesses out there that will provide quality services, as Royal Cleaning Services IS NOT IT 👎

Excellent job of deep cleaning a home that had been trashed and abandoned. Open rotting food left on counters and stove, dirty litter box, mildew on walls, smelly dishes left in the sink, trashed carpet, etc ...it looked hopeless. Wanda's crew arranged for the dumpster, cleared the home of trash and furniture, even disposed of the refrigerator filled with rotting food. Then they deep cleaned the inside better than I could have imagined. Very thankful for the fast response and professionalism of her crew. Thank you!!

I recently hired Royal Cleaning to do a deep clean of my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, their service was professional, efficient, and honestly impressive.

I spoke with Wanda at Royal Cleaning Services and described to her that I was interested in her services as I have been renovating my home over the last 6 months or so. She came by and gave me a quote of $1000 which I thought was very fair. However, as we began discussing what is included in the service for $1000 she says, windows, globes, ceilings etc. are not included. Well when I think post construction I think lots of dust and debris from contractors demoing walls, cutting lumber, sanding etc. So, this clean up would require cleaning top to bottom with no stone left unturned. We agreed and I hired her and set a date for her to clean about a month out. The night before I sent a text just verifying our appointment for the following morning. I got no response that evening, however at 6:30 the next morning as I was expecting her within the hour i get a text stating "Unfortunately my team will not do the post construction clean up". So, after waiting a month for her and her team I get this response. I could have hired another company a month prior but I was more than willing to wait on Wanda and team as she had already invested time in coming out to quote. I would highly recommend getting full disclosure and transparency from Wanda prior to hiring her and her team.

My first experience with Two Maids & A Mop. I requested the premium cleaning. I received a call from the owner who provided details on the process and then a welcome packet. The crew arrived 1/2 hour early which was good for me since it was the end of the day. I felt like I had moved in a new house for the first few days. The bathrooms were spotless. There were a couple of places missed with cleaning windows and those that had a little dust but nothing major. Would request their services again.

Never, ever have we had a maid service that cleaned so thoroughly every single time. Everything really is clean; not just dusting and mopping, but baseboards, cabinet fronts and the inside of the microwave. They have a notebook for our house that lists the things that are important to us. Everyone, including the office staff, is friendly, accommodating and professional. The price is very competitive. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

They were professional and did a good job cleaning our house. Bri & Emily were very polite. Even when I pointed out areas they missed they just apologized and got it done. I especially appreciated the supervisor coming at the end to inspect the work. They took a load off my shoulders cleaning this house and I'm glad I called them.

Our first experience with Two Maids & a Mop was very good. They kept us up to date on their arrival so that we didn’t have to wait around for them. Also I really appreciate them taking some last minute requests! The base cleaning was great and looking forward to the deep cleaning!

We are very happy with the cleaning services provided by Two Maids & A Mop. The ladies were friendly and professional. They took their time and did a thorough job.

We have had cleaning teams before who came in and seemed to work at lightening speed, to get in and out and onto the next home. That wasn't the case with TM & a Mop.

We are looking forward to our next cleaning and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for home cleaning services.

I signed up for one of their design by time one time packages. I asked them to please prioritize giving my kitchen and downstairs bathroom a deep cleaning, and a decent cleaning of the guest room and living room, and that if they had time could they please vaccuum the stairs and loft. The ladies arrived on the early side of the window, and I explained what I needed. They did an ok job, but were not detail oriented. I had to ask them to please wipe down the counters and kitchen table, they missed a big chunk of the living room with dusting/wiping down surfaces that I had to ask them to take care of, and they did not do what their site suggests is a deep clean in the kitchen or bathroom (ie, did not do baseboards, move things off the counter to clean under them, inside windows, etc). It was fine, as it saved me quite a bit of time and back pain as well as the stress of preparing for out of town guests, hence the 3 stars. The ladies were very nice. But I am unlikely to use this service again. I feel like given the time I could have done that level of cleaning - I was really looking for something more.

The maids are friendly, careful and quick. They do a very nice job and it's great to have my house cleaned regularly (I'm not able to). We had a bit of trouble scheduling the first visit but it was partly my fault. I look forward to them coming every week.

I booked with Two Maids & A Mop as their online reviews looked great and their website appeared professional and easy to navigate. I scheduled my cleaning as a premium cleaning (highest level of cleaning they offer) for 3 bedrooms and the other common areas of the house. The day of the clean, the cleaners were communicative and arrived early, which was wonderful. There were two cleaners who cleaned while I was at work. The individual who cleaned my main floor (kitchen, bathroom, living room) did a great job and it was evident she really cared about my satisfaction. However, when I went upstairs, I found that 2/3 bedrooms were not cleaned at all (not even touched), the laundry room was not cleaned at all (not vacuumed, still litter on the floor from my cat's litter box, etc.). I additionally found that in the room that was cleaned (my master bedroom), the dresser was not dusted/wiped down at all and was still very dusty, there was a ton of fur and some dryer sheets under the bed (one of the main reasons I like to hire cleaning services is to deal with the amount of fur from my pets), and it was clear parts of the room just hadn't been touched entirely, like my vanity. The cat tree was also still covered in fur and pieces of food (all previous cleaning services I've had with other providers have vacuumed my cat tree as part of premium cleans). Additionally, a trash can in my bathroom wasn't emptied (the service specifies that all trash cans will be emptied). The trash can in the bedroom that was emptied upstairs was left in my garage, whereas the trash from downstairs was taken to my garbage been (right outside my garage in my driveway). I had assumed there was a mistake, so I contacted customer service who informed the local manager, Joshua Burkey. Joshua contacted me on a Friday morning informing me he had been notified and asked for more information/photos of the missed areas, which I was hopeful meant the issue would be remedied promptly. I sent Joshua the video at around 3pm on Friday and did not receive a response. I reached back out on Monday, and still did not receive a response. I reached out again on Tuesday, this time calling a cell number that the cleaner who completed my first floor gave me, and he answered, said he was busy in a training, and would watch the video later and call me back. When we finally spoke, he made many excuses as to why things occurred. He reported if doors weren't open (even if unlocked), rooms wouldn't be cleaned, which is not in the welcome packet and does not make sense as I leave my doors closed to prevent my pets from being in them and getting into stuff while I'm at work, and also doesn't make sense as the laundry room was not done, which is always open as that is where my cat's litter box is. He reported that "organization" is not a part of the service when I mentioned that my vanity had not been cleaned (wiped down at all) among other aspects of my master room. He reported that the only reason my downstairs "looked so good" was because the cleaner went outside of what she should have done (implying that she provided a service higher than their standards, even though I would say it was pretty basic for what I've received before), and that if I wanted the cat tree cleaned I should have made a "specific request for that." He offered to refund me $40 of the almost $190 I paid for the service and would not refund me any of the tip for the upstairs cleaner, despite the fact that she did less than 1/3 of her job. I have never had such a dismissive, poorly trained customer service response to a clearly terribly done job by a "professional" service. I requested to terminate the monthly cleaning schedule that they had originally signed me up for and highly recommend that you only use this service if you are looking for a very basic clean and do not have pets and/or anything that may require "specific requests." I have the video of the uncleaned portion if anyone looking to access this service would like to see for themselves the outcome before making their choice.

This wasn’t our first experience with a cleaning company, but was hands down our best. We had never used Two Maids & A Mop before, but based on google reviews and personal recommendations by others, we decided to give them a shot. We were not disappointed!

Being a family of 5 with 2 of our children under 10, and a 160lb Great Dane in the house, we were overdue for a good cleaning. Tack on being in the middle of a move, you can imagine the mess that accumulates. From start to finish this company was professional, thorough, and affordable on top of it all. Ronnie walked us through the entire process, helped us pick the right package for our needs, communicated arrival times, what to expect, and so on.. The crew that performed the cleaning was on time, hospitable, and went beyond our expectations laid out upon their arrival.

10/10. 5 Stars. Will not be using another company for any cleaning needs from here on out!

I would say it was mostly a positive experience… floors and bathrooms were great but the living room baseboards were neglected and still noticeably dusty after the cleaning, which was disappointing. I expected a bit more from a deep cleaning for the price. If this could be addressed I’d be more likely to use this service again.

I have had the best experience so far with the Two Maids team. They have been great to work with not only on the housekeeping services, but also with changes that I've needed to make with our schedule. I also love that it has not been a rotating group of cleaners like I have seen in the past with other companies where you never know who is going to be entering your home.

As for the cleaning they have been awesome with keeping our wood floors looking great and getting the dog hair out of everything (we have a Lab/Sheppard mix who sheds a sweater a day of fur). Even with daily sweeping we have dog hair in the corners and under our desk and they always leave our home looking like new!

I have has this company come to my house twice now. I had 2 different groups of ladies each time, and both times they were efficient and easy to talk to. I have a 100 year old house so I was impressed by their expertise and execution. I also have 2 cats, whom they were very kind to, and they did a good job at removing their hair! Lastly, I appreciated that they let me know when they were en route. I would recommend these guys. Give them a shot!

Two Maids and a Mop did an excellent job on my home today. I would heartily recommend them. I am a little particular when it comes to cleaning and always feel that no one cleans my home as well as I do. Two Maids and a Mop changed that feeling for me. They are professional, efficient and extremely detailed and went way beyond what I expected. My house is so deeply clean! No detail was missed. I will definitely use them again.

Very happy with the final outcome! Will certainly use them again!

I had a move out cleaning done by Two Maids & A Mop. The cleaning crew was average and left part of the refrigerator uncleaned. I called the owner Wendy who came over the next day at 7 a.m to ensure everything was cleaned properly. And she did a fantastic job.

Sometimes cleaning crews can miss places and each crew is different. But what is important is what the owner/company does to ensure the job is completed to your satisfaction. From my experience, I know that Two Maids & A Mop will ensure you are satisfied with the job. Certainly will use them again.

Wouldnt even recommend trying their service, to be honest. $150 for an 900 sqft apt. I am thinking - okay that is not bad at all. I decide to go bi-weekly.

First booking comes, and I just knew it would be bad. The crew shows up at the wrong day to start because the owner says "they are short staffed"

Fine, no problem. They come Thursday instead of Friday, and the owner and someone else will be cleaning my place. "Great", I think, because obviously the owner would treat my place great?

I jump out to grab breakfast while they get going in my office, as I WFH. I spent about 20 minutes out to get breakfast. I get back and walk in to my place the owner goes "were done!"

"uh okay?" I said very confused. Honestly, to this day... I have no clue what they did. Maybe vacuum? I really dont think they did a thing beyond vacuuming. I immediately give feedback that it was really bad. Turns out I am giving feedback to the person that cleaned because the owner was cleaning.

I decided to give them another shot after being convinced by the owner. Fine.

I loved crew 2 - they did a fantastic job. I recommended them again and requested their services. The owner never gave me that crew again (even though you can request to keep the same people).

New crew on the third time - 3 adult men. They were here for around 40 minutes, place looked 10-20% better than when they came in. So not as bad as week one, but pretty damn dreadful.

4th time was the final straw. The crew did not clean a full room (my office for some reason) Threw all of my dirty dishes in a giant pile I had to reclean and fix. Did not fold a blanket, did not mop a floor, did not wash a counter. It was so bad. One of the crew members was in my bathroom "cleaning" for the entire time. Buddy LOCKED the door. never left that bathroom.

This company not only does about the absolute worst job I have ever seen attempt to clean (*they SHOULD NOT be allowed to call themselves a cleaning company/ maid service.), their owner, knowing this disaster of a cleaning job, still had the audacity to charge me 150 for that session. Dude, they were here for 20 minutes and the one crew member didnt leave the bathroom!

It's quite funny, because I am not the type to request a refund or screw someone out of their hard, blue collar job. So instead of asking for money I just wanted to see if the owner would do the right thing. Obviously, I am here writing a detailed review about the miserable, money waste, time waste, overall awful cleaning job from the Two Maids team in RVA.

    TL;DR

Really bad job at cleaning. Poor communication. Lack of respect. Uncomfortable interactions with crew. Utterly awful cleaning job. Giant time waste. Would not recommend to a soul.
