Chuck was a good technician even though my heating system was declared unusable still a question what do I do now?

We use hungerford for heating oil and they are always fast.

My system was checked up by technician David. He was A+, answered all my questions with great professionalism and kindness.

I didn't realize until the day of a snow storm in 2015 that I was out of oil! Ray Anderson understood the situation I was in, and made sure that my oil delivery came before the first snowflake fell. Thanks Ray!

I bought an old house that uses oil heat. While my experience with using oil hasn't been pleasant, this company has been. Good customer service and honest/knowledgeable repairmen.

Horrible technician showed up at our house and said that the inspection tune up didn't cover them actually doing anything to the unit. I was told it would cost $150.00 just to tell me if the freon level was low. Complete waste of time. I was also told that anything that they actually do to the unit would be an extra charge. It is no wonder they are trying to sell a Groupon to try to drum up business. BEWARE! This company will try to take your money without actually doing any work of any kind.

Wow they have a driver who cut off traffic on 05/13/2020 in one of their company oil trucks that came onto Interstate I-64 that came off the exit to merge onto the highway right by the P.O. white interchange.. right before exit 185 Staples Mill Rd Cut us off around 8:30am then cut off the vehicle to our right lane and even flicked off everyone with his left middle finger as people was passing. There is no way I would want anyone with that type of non-professional dangerous behavior doing any type of oil delivery or work on anything that I own. During these times it’s extremely sad to this type of behavior from someone driving a vehicle containing flammable fluid.

My family has been using Hungerford for over 25 years now. When I recetly purchased my house I continued using them and from a homeowner's perspective I feel they are extremely honest, nice, and understanding of your needs

A company driver came to my house by mistake. He clearly can't read the four large numbers posted on the house. He had already deployed the fuel hose from the truck when he realized he was in the wrong place. Instead of reeling it back in, he drove off with the entire length hitting everything in its path. I would appreciate it if this company would keep substandard employees off of public roads and private property. I'm glad the hose didn't hit anything living!!!

Horrible service. Had two different technicians come look at our oil furnace because of a strong oil smell in our garage. Neither could figure out what was wrong but on each occasion the tech told us to buy air fresheners to cover the smell rather than figure out what was going on. Completely unqualified and unprofessional employees.

Do not let their service guy, Raven, on your property. He spends his time on his phone, up-sells you every time he talks to you and is incompetent. He told us we needed a specific part for our heat pump to which I said maybe later. I called a second company had it checked out and the part is in perfect working order.

I had 2 guys come out to look at my oil furnace because it wasn't working at all. I was told that I needed a new motor and cleaning, which would cost over $2100. I asked one of the guys for the cost of the part, he said, he didn't know bcus the part and labor was automatically combined. I do know that he charged approx $600 to clean my furnace, so I guess the rest was for the part and labor.
I called another company..paid $200+ for the part, and $250 for labor. This is a big difference from $2100, minus cleaning.
I will not call Hungerford again. I don't see honesty at all!

I had new indoor and outdoor units installed and they cannot keep my house at the desired temperature. They run almost constantly and on a 75 degree day I can't get the temperature in my house down to 70. They have been out several times with different reasons why it's not working properly. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. If you use Hungerfords, get the higher ton or higher SEER even when they recommend against it!

Hungerford service is the worst. 8 am heat was working fine. 8:10 am Hungerford delivered oil. 8:20 only cold air is blowing thru vents. I go under house reset system twice,still cold air. Call Hungerford . Lady on phone was very nice. We're going to have a tech come and get you heat right away. Tech came walk around outside my house. Gave me a quote for $2600. Did absolutely nothing
Now I have 200 gallons of oil I cant use. A. night ago house was warm and cozy
1 nightlater after their delivery we using space heaters and oven to warm house. So i chose service not listed. Cause none was provided. . And charge me for service call Hungerford will never get another penny from me
