Met with Chuck from Hungerford. He was extremely professional, honest, personable, and knowledgable about his trade. Called Hungerford to get a second opinion after dealing with a local competitor. Chuck fixed the problem within the hour for a fraction of the price. Will absolutely do business again, and am signing up for the yearly HVAC inspection.

I can not say enough positive things about this company! We purchased and older home and didn't know anything about oil heat, so we called the sticker on the furnace of Hungerford since they installed the unit when it was new. From the initial visit when they filled the tank, and the service manager came out to introduce himself and walk us through how to use the furnace, to the friendly and courteous driver who delivers our oil automatically, I could not ask for better customer service. Even as I write this, a serviceman just left my home, fixing the small issue with our furnace, he explained in detail what was wrong, and even went in to detail to show us exactly how the furnace worked explaining the parts as he removed them, and what was wrong. My home was left just as clean as it was when he arrived, and he was friendly to my two dogs, who made sure to let him know they were there! 😀 I'm happily willing to reccomend them to anyone!

I have not used Hungerford HVAC for any services, BUT I did receive a gift basket from them welcoming me to the neighborhood! I appreciated the kind gesture and am already putting my gifts to use, thank you!

Mr Chuck showed up and went to work immediately. He was very professional and courteous. He got into out attic area which is very tough to do and got our HVAC up and running in short order. He saved us thousands of dollars in costs by giving us the best information and service on the spot. Highly recommend!!

I have been using Hungerford for several years now after having a bad experience with another company. They have always been excellent about getting oil to me when I needed it- even same day when necessary. I recently called them for an issue with the burner not staying lit. Jason came out and had it fixed in no time. Then he took the time to explain what was wrong and how he fixed it. I would recommend Hungerford and Jason to anyone.

I recently had Hungerford install a Space Pak/high velocity system. I was incredibly impressed with the installers, not only did they put plastic on all the floors, but they wore protective boots and cleaned up every day before leaving. The work started the day and time they told me and was done on time as well and on budget. They also suggested some items that would not only save me money but make the system for efficient. They also installed a gas boiler for me in the city. Top notch, 5-star team.

I had an entire new Ruud system put in. Everyone on thr Hungerford team was great. Monica in the office reached out quickly and was very knowledgeable. Alvin came out quickly and delivered the estimate and Matt and Ryan from the install crew were awesome. I appreciate the good business and am very happy with the new system.

I called Hungerford when I realized my ac wasn’t working. Monica was very helpful, even gave me a couple of suggestions to try before sending a tech to my house, within a couple hours Chuck showed up identified the problem and fixed the issue quickly. There was no trying to upsell me on things that I don’t need as most companies do. I highly recommend calling Hungerford , it was my first experience using them, and from the very beginning it was an amazing experience. I even got a follow up phone call later that evening, after hours from Monica to make sure I was satisfied. I will use this company from now on and recommend to family and friends.

The technician came out and did nothing but say my oil furnace was too old to work on and I was charged service fee for that!

If I could leave a negative review I would. We had Hungerford HVAC perform HVAC service that was clearly done incorrectly. They returned and claimed the issue was “fixed,” but our system still does not work. We have a one-year warranty on this service, which they are now refusing to honor.

It is 14 degrees outside and we have no heat.

When we contacted the company, we were repeatedly told they “refuse service,” and representatives hung up on us multiple times. Only after mentioning that we would leave a review did they stay on the line with us. The woman we spoke with, Donna, initially stated someone would be sent out. After acknowledging the warranty, she reversed course and told us no one would be sent for months, despite knowing we have no heat in the middle of winter.

This company performed defective work, and then abandoned us during an emergency while actively refusing to stand behind their own warranty. Hanging up on customers, contradicting themselves, and refusing service under warranty is completely unacceptable.

We will never do business with Hungerford HVAC again and strongly warn others to stay far away. If something goes wrong, and it likely will, you cannot rely on this company to take responsibility or do the right thing.

I have used Hungerford Heating Oil for the past 10+ years for my Heating Oil needs. Angela has always been wonderful and responsive.
My most recent service call was as usual amazing, but it took all the bells and whistles from Hungerford to assure I had heat for my terminally ill mother staying with me. Verizon's phone system was down, we figured out a way to communicate through text. Donna was an angel and coordinated all events. I was very low on oil ... Angela got the oil dispatched and delivered before they said they would, David came after hours, climbed under my house in the dark and freezing cold and restarted my system, and the office worked with my financial situation.
I’ve grown accustomed to large companies prioritizing efficiency and the bottom line over personalized service. It’s hard to feel like anything more than just a number these days. This is exactly why I’m writing this review: this company is the exception! They combine their proven experience with a genuine human element, taking the time to ensure a personal touch and showing real heart in their work. The team went above and beyond, and it made all the difference.

I have a whole house Kohler generator that needed maintenance. It was easy to set up a quick appt and the techs that came were punctual, professional, and personable. They diagnosed the issue, told me what was involved and explained the pricing upfront. Great communication. Highly recommend!

Excellent, professional service from a very knowledgeable technician.

Scheduling time a bit cumbersome. Could not get a "window" for a service call, consequently you are held hostage in the house until the tech calls to say he is on the way. Fortunately he came about 10 AM. If it had been 4 PM I would have wasted a day waiting for a call. My time is valuable too.

Outstanding experience with Davis and Green for my annual whole-house generator service. Nae Anderson was very thorough and professional, and explained every part of the service. She's a great ambassador for the company.

Our experience was an excellent experience! We had what I thought was a fuse out in the circuit box, but it was actually a different issue, causing the power outage in our home. When calling to make an appointment, the woman who was taking appointments was excellent! Very friendly and courteous! When our electrician Joe arrived, he was very polite, punctual. Joe was able to identify the problem and come up with a solution in a timely manner and provided an upfront estimate before starting the work. This is refreshing because some contractors will give you a bill at the end and not actually give you an estimate. The quality of work was excellent, and the price Was very reasonable! Joe also informed us that we may want to replace our electrical panel since it is about 40 years old. He gave a good faith estimate and there was no sales pitch or pressure. Joe is a super friendly person and very knowledgeable as an expert in his field! Joe is our Go to guide for all future electrical needs!

Davis & Green is my one stop home repair and maintenance company. Their prices are reasonable and their technicians are professional, courteous and punctual. Jack was especially helpful with a recent electrical issue that I encountered. He explained his process in detail and kept me informed throughout the duration of the visit. The guys from Davis & Green came out so quickly to help us when our water heater failed us in the midst of a snowstorm. Hunter came quickly to make sure all the electrical elements were not a hazard. When he nailed down the issue with the water heater, Nigel and Matt were out here within an hour to replace it. We knew our water heater was on its last leg, but we did not have to suffer days without hot water because Nigel and Matt were quick and dedicated, getting in crawlspace and working in below freezing temperatures to get it replaced. Seemed like a normal day for them, but it was a huge deal to us. Cannot thank you all enough!
