Dave was absolutely amazing! He was punctual and very professional. He was able to figure out the problem with my HVAC after an incredibly thorough inspection. I would highly recommend!

Dave responded, though he wasn’t able to come that day, he sat on the phone with me to troubleshoot the issue, and we agreed upon a time for the next day (Saturday). He was punctual, informative, polite, knowledgeable- all of the things! We scheduled additional work for another day and he was on time. He is friendly, respects your home, walks you through his processes. Gives you tips on how to maintain your HVAC. I could say a million things positive about his business, but the individual behind the business is a good man!

Dave really saved the day. He came out early one morning with less than an hour notice because my AC was completely out and my house was 91 degrees at 7:00 in the morning. He fixed the problem and even came back the next day to perform maintenance to ensure that my system was working as smoothly as possible. The pricing is transparent and fair, the service is quick and he’s extremely knowledgeable without being condescending. As long as Custom Comfort is in business, they’ll have my business.

Patrick installed 2 ceiling lights with dimmer switches and 2 whole house surge protectors. He explained the process and pricing clearly. Work was done in an efficient and effective manner. When we have another electrician job, I will definitely request Patrick.

Carlos Hernandez-Paredes was super nice, quick, and ready to answer all of my questions. Couldn’t have had a better guy to come and help me out. As a woman, plumbing isn’t my area of expertise, so it’s nice to have a trustworthy person to get the job done!

Update: The freezing weather has done a number on my pipes, so Patrick Young came out to help out with frozen pipes and new leaks. He went above and beyond to make sure every pipe was repaired and advised me on what I need to do next and preventative steps for the future. Patrick was very personable and I appreciate his hard work!

Michael & Sons came to our rescue on Friday night after the snow and ice hit Richmond. I called at 5pm and talked to a very nice man who was taking care of after-hours calls. Andrew came at 9 and stayed until after midnight - he eliminated the hot water tank that was leaking and got us working with the remaining hot water tank. He was a life saver. Excellent customer service from my initial call to Andrew leaving.

Thank God! He is the best! De'Montre came after hours when we need help immediately! He came, fixed the problem, made sure there were no others, and did it all with a smile! I would recommend him to anyone who needs plumbing services. FAST. EFFICIENT. EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION. GREAT WORK DE'MONTRE!

As a "Michael & Sons member" they sent someone out for my annual HVAC inspection. About an hour after they left, my HVAC completely stopped working. Odd coincidence, don't you think? When I called to have someone come rectify the issue, they quoted me a 4-day wait. Awesome. Look elsewhere for your HVAC needs. That's what I'll be doing.

I’m located in Richmond, VA and had Michael & Sons out today for my yearly HVAC inspection. My technician, Edward, did a superb job. He was extremely personable, professional, and very knowledgeable about his craft.

Not only did he complete the system tune-up thoroughly, but he also identified and cleared a blockage that could have become a bigger issue down the line. Edward took the time to walk me through each component of my HVAC system in a way that was easy to understand and made sure all of my questions were answered.

He also explained Michael & Sons’ yearly maintenance plan without any pressure, which I really appreciated. Overall, I was very happy with the service and the level of care Edward provided. I highly recommend both Edward and Michael & Sons.

My experience with Michael and Sons was amazing from the time I made the call for setting an appointment until Josh finished up the work on replacing the hot water heater. As a service professional myself, I have to say this company has it together when it comes to taking care of people. Excellent job and I’ll be doing any and all services that I can with this company from now on.

Jules was our tech and was amazing. Michael and sons had to come diagnose and fix an issue another company stated was another issue and was not. 2 weeks no heat, and heat back on in 10 mins. Amazing, hopefully I can get the repair completed by these folks as well.

We had Joan come by for an inspection and to get us set up on their Essential Membership plan. Due to the weather, he was only able to inspect our furnace, which actually wound up being a blessing in disguise!

He discovered a couple of things that needed to be fixed and then installed their proprietary wifi thermostat. Prior to Joan's magic, the second floor of our house was always 10-15 degrees warmer than the first floor. It'd be freezing downstairs and absolutely sweltering upstairs. I'm still not sure what sort of witchcraft Joan managed to do, but that's no longer the case! It's actually warm downstairs, too! Perfect timing with the cold front coming through.

Joan was efficient, personable and our puppy loved him. He didn't try to upsell us on anything and was extremely thorough when reviewing his inspection with me.

The next Michael & Son tech that comes out has some big shoes to fill!

The technician, Patrick, was professional, knowledgeable and extremely nice which is why I give them 5 stars. The price was so over the top but I’m not going to take that out on the electrician. I had a timer installed for my pool pump and wasn’t expecting to pay $1K for services rendered.

Kevin was excellent. Very polite, honest and prompt. Was very thorough and did everything while dealing with my 3 yr old son and dog in the house. 10/10 would recommend him and the company again.

Dustin was an outstanding technician. He is professional and very polite. He is also skilled in his electrical profession!
