Personality is always first for me and Ronald's personality was AWESOME. Although, he was here to get a soil sample whike raining, I went out to his truck and when he got out of his vehicle to meet me, his personality and smile said it all. As we talked briefly, I could tell he is an awesome person. If I were in your line if business, I would definitely steal him from you.He seems to beca really good person ascwell as worker. I used Mauro's a few years back for a limb removal. So when I needed an estimate for a few limbs to be removed - I called/emailed/texted Mauro's to schedule an estimate for this job. When I called I spoke to someone who said to text her my contact information/address. Eventually we scheduled an estimate for Sun - 5/12/24 @ 9:30am. Sat - 5/11/24 I get a text stating they are in my area and would like to run by. I changed my schedule to accommodate them - but then they never showed up - so a reconfirmed our scheduled meeting Sunday. Sunday morning I get an email they cancelled the estimate meeting. Since then the company has gone dark - not taking any phone calls/voice mails/texts. I have never had such a difficult time scheduling an estimate/meeting as a former customer. If I could give them a ZERO, I would. I work - so I have provided them dates/times that I am available - still NOTHING - NO REPSONSE.

I just used Mauro's Tree Svc. I'm glad I employed them for the three large trees that needed to come down on my property in Arlington, VA.

I found Mauro's team excellent in every way, including price, speed, care, and clean up.

I watched the team during roughly 4 to 5 hours and I was impressed at how much control they had over where the various branches --and in some cases ~8 foot long trunks with diameters in some cases over 2 feet. Both came rest in controlled descents snubbed by crew on the ground holding tethering ropes.

Perhaps the most problematic tree for me was a wild cherry tree that branched around the power drop to my house and then developed some disease and in recent years proceeded to rot, seeming even killing some neighboring vegetation.

Before we got started Mauro and his staff made thoughtful suggestions that illustrated flexibility and interest in the outcome of their work. For example, I'd considered trimming some of my tall Maple trees but Mauro said that they looked like strong healthy trees that didn't seem to be in need of trimming.

I have seldom seen a crew that had better skills, including team work, safety, and thinking ahead. They stayed on the job through the clean up phase. They agreed to hold off on payment until the job was complete.

The level of service extends to the person answering my initial phone call. They knew exactly where the crew was and when they could get over to start my job. This is no longer the norm in most service industries who often use generic answering services and about all they know is that you'll get a call back (. . . at some point . . . hopefully) and meanwhile your left in the dark.

I used Mauro’s Tree Service for snow removal, they came and removed snow from my driveway, walkway and in front of the mailbox which is located on the street. They did an outstanding job taking extra time to ensure the packed snow was cleared down to the pavement, the driveway is completely dry just two hours after they departed. The customer service representative, Sol, accompanied the team and ensured I was satisfied before they left. I will be using this company again for additional work.

Mauro's Tree Service was reliable, punctual, and affordable. He and his crew cut down multiple trees and shrubs. They ground down all the stumps as well. Cleared away a huge amount of ivy covering the ground, then put plastic and mulch on top. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, responsive and professional team. Mauro and his team are amazing. We have this huge Wasp nest on our back yard in one of our trees but it was like 35 feet higher. I call different pets control companies but I was told they can’t remove it because it was to high I also call the fire department they say they are not allowed to take it down . But when I call Mauro he say I be there tonight.. I highly recommend this company they got the job done I am very impressed. Wow! Mauro and his crew did a great job at my house. They removed a double trunk oak over 100 feet tall, pruned 8 other trees, and took out two stumps. The price was good, the work spectacular, and their speed and efficiency amazing. I highly recommend them for whatever tree services you need.

I called on Saturday and they did the job on Monday. Mauro provided an on the spot quote, which was a fair price. Showed up earlier than expected and did an excellent job. I really appreciate the quick response and performance.

Jose and his team did a terrific job with transplanting a tree, planting a third, and trimming overgrown hollies. Jose is extremely responsive and I couldn't be happier with the work, all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Jose is the best 👍, I have used his tree cutting service for the last two years at multiple times. I have referred all my friends to contact Jose any time they need to cut down any trees.

Do not use this company! He quoted me a price of $2800.00 then said I misunderstood him and raised the price to $3900. Then had the nerve to tell me that my other stumps were extra. Make sure you get everything in writing from this company. I made the mistake of not getting it in writing because he was recommended by my neighbor who is a friend of his. He will lose business because I had several referrals lined up.

JJ Tree Experts cut down a dead tree in my yard for a great price and in a professional manner. I decided to keep the wood which they broke down and stacked neatly in my yard. I would hire them again and highly suggest them to others!

Jose and his crew finally completed their job perfectly after long delays caused by weather.
Although we had to overcome some misunderstandings about the scope of job, I am now fully satisfied with their low price and high quality. I would like to recommend his team for any tree jobs in Northern Virginia area.

Jose and his team work incredibly hard, are trustworthy and have competitive pricing. They removed a large fallen tree on a hillside for us and multiple more trees on our future list. We definitely use them again for tree removal!

They were great! We had them trim a giant maple in our front yard that overhang the street, several vehicles, powerlines, and our house. It was constantly losing limbs and branches and had damaged two cars.They arrived on time, set mats out so they didn’t ruin my yard, trimmed all of the dead branches, and took all of the debris away. It was impressive how fast they completed the trimming. In several storms since the trimming, we have not lost any branches, so the pruning they did was perfect. I would highly recommend them if you need tree trimming in the northern Virginia area.
