Phenomenal work done, with excellent communication!

We had to have a very large (about 100 ft tall), old, and beloved poplar removed from our backyard because the heartwood had died and the tree was in its way out, and we were concerned about it falling. We sent an online request for a quote, and that same day Green Vista reached out to arrange a free consultation. Nico, the arborist who came out, was friendly and clear in what to expect as far as labor and costs, and points of possible concern as far as hauling away the wood, as well as suggestions on when would be safe to potential plant a new tree in the future. The crew that came out later worked quickly and diligently to take the tree down with no damage to our home or property. Now we just need some new trees to come in!

What a whirlwind the last 48 hours has been. The NOVA area has experienced gale force winds which means down power lines and trees. I've used Big Steve's Tree Care several times. What a great company. Today, Julio and crew took care of damage caused by the recent wind storms (May 2021) and a stump removal. The guys that arrived were polite, professional, and communicated what was going on. AND they cleaned up (didn't leave wood chips all over the driveway!). I appreciate great service and that's what Big Steve's delivered.

Big Steve's Tree Care removed 2 large oak trees and trimmed other trees. Donald and his team were terrific. They arrived on time, walked through the estimate, and got to work. We’ve used Big Steve’s twice since buying our dream property last year. We have many huge trees and initially needed one dead tree removed & cleaning up several more. The 4 man crew had a bucket truck but used climbing for most of the trees. The workers were very skilled, pleasant, and respectful of our property. They’re also amazing to watch - they’re at home up in the trees. The price was very fair & Steve is a pleasure to deal with. He is a local, hands on business owner & very knowledgeable. When another tree that posed a risk didn’t look good this spring, we knew who to call. As a tree lover, I appreciate that Steve puts tree health first and is truly interested in getting a good result. Very happy to have found Big Steve’s & highly recommend!

Big Steve is my entire neighborhood’s go-to service for tree and shrub care. They listen closely to what I want, clean up brilliantly and are easy to schedule with. I couldn’t keep my landscape under control without them, and don’t want to try.

I used Big Steve's for leaf removal. The team did an excellent job. The front and back yard was completely cleaned up to include the deck and backdoor basement entrance. They also cleaned up and took away all twigs and fallen branches. Overall, the team did an excellent job. I will definitely hire them again.

Big Steve's exceeded expectations. Their pricing was extremely competitive, and they were very easy to work with. Scheduling was handled promptly with top customer service. During the actual tree removal services, the crew was very respectful to not damage any surrounding plants, trees, patio furniture, etc. The cleanup was also top notch. I couldn't find a leftover twig left in the entire yard once finished. Even the saw dust left in the grass from the cutting was blown away. I would highly recommend Big Steve's!

Do one of the recent rain storms we had a tree fall down on our house. Bartlett tree service responded immediately and sent a crew out the very next day. Marvin, Salvador and Joaquin were the most professional, courteous, and thorough individuals, we could not have been more impressed with the service and they left the backyard spotless. Bartlett is our go to company for tree care. Always had a good experience with them since we moved here 9 years ago. Consistent courteous knowledgeable service and fair pricing. Patrick Teague is great. He knows his business, is on time, and is quick and knowledgeable. Very responsive.

I have used Bartlett Tree Experts several times. My recent service the crew of Marvin, Andrew & Joaquin did a great job trimming & pruning my Lilac, Japanese Maple, Laurel and Viburnums that is keeping them in good growth health. I also appreciate them explaining what work was performed and answering any questions I had.

I have used Barlett Tree Experts for a number of years and have had a variety of tree services performed during that time. They are great people to work with and are knowledgable, professional, and friendly. My most recent service was to have my applicable trees treated so as to prevent spotted lanternfly infestation. Back in the fall of 2025 I had them prune some of my trees to not be hanging out over the driveway and roof.

Everyone was incredibly kind and friendly, professional and knowledgeable, and provided me with a wealth of information. I'm so incredibly happy I chose Bartlett. As for price, it was on par with previous locations we've had pruning done.

Everyone from the arborist, the tree health specialist, to the tree pruning crew, was amazing. I have never worked with such an incredibly honest, kind, professional, and knowledgeable tree service. Every single one of them took their time to talk to me when I had questions without seeming irritated or like I was wasting their time. It was the exact opposite and they seemed to enjoy passing on their knowledge. I am so much better informed than I previously was, especially in regards to planting natives, and taking care of my existing oaks, which is my goal.

When Matt C , my Arborist first came out, I was so sure half my large trees needed pruning. He was incredibly honest and informed me that only my White oak needed pruning. Talk about a relief. We're having a fence installed and there's no way to avoid the roots of my oak trees, which is one of the main reasons for calling Bartlett. He took his time evaluating the best options of where to place fence posts and discussed how to best take care of the trees so they don't suffer from pests and/or disease after it gets stressed from the install. The tree pruning crew lead was Marvin, and was assisted by Joaquin and Alexi. Unfortunately, I don't recall the gentleman's name who came out to do the Tree health. Thank you so much to everyone who came out, for taking such great care of my oak trees!

Since Bartlett Tree has been caring for my azaleas they have been flourishing. The staff are experienced and adept at diagnosing any problems and remedying them. Shane has done most of the fertilizing and treatments for insects and root rot at my property. He is very thorough and explains each treatment before he begins.
