Airone sent a mechanic to repair my Upper HVAC unit. It was a burnt fuse. He replaced it and the system started working. But he said he wanted to be sure and went out to the compressor unit. He replaced the "contactor" and charged me 424 USD. I told them to take their part and leave because I had only agreed to pay 89 USD for diagnosis.

He quickly dropped the charge to 250 USD. I paid that amount not realising that the system had started working with just a new one dollar fuse.

I am sure they are going to say, "oh, the fuse is burnt by a bad contactor". Sure, that happens sometimes. I just don't trust someone who quotes 89, then charges 424, and then drops to 250. The charge for the visit and diagnostic was supposed to be 89 USD. He should have charged 1 USD more for the fuse and left. But clearly he is incentivised to bill more.

Air 1 Mechanical has been straightforward to deal with from the estimate to the installation to the follow-up for replacement of my old Carrier single-stage Heat Pump to a new state-of-the-art Carrier Infinity heat pump. Jay K. is a real pro and was exceptional to deal with throughout. He even followed up after the initial installation to install a collar system to properly seal the joints between the air handler supply plenum and ducts.

I also used Air 1 Mechanical to service our water heater and once again, Jay K., ensured it was performed professionally and also replaced a faulty under-sized expansion tank with the correct size for our water heater.

Bahar in the front office was also great to deal with - making scheduling over the phone easy and convenient.

So far, Air 1 Mechanical has earned my trust as an honest company that does quality work.

Absolutely the best! Bahar went above and beyond to get a match for my very old heating system. I expected to wait a couple of days, but she made sure she got the unit first thing in the morning. Install was done by 4pm. Unbelievable service!

Jay did a great job for my house! He also taught me how to change the filter regularly to make sure it’s working. There will be a snow storm tomorrow and he came the same day as I called! I greatly appreciate it.

Amazing group! I came back to a dead hvac and was able to call and talk to someone as soon as I called even though it was after hours. Next day I had Josue M and Josue B here to evaluate and do what they could for my unit. They managed to get it working and were not hard on the sales pitch even when it was clear this unit had lived its life.

Water was pouring out in the kitchen, and even after attempting to shut off the valve under the sink, we had to turn off the main water supply. Henry was our tech. Fabulous guy. End of day, last visit, pouring rain…and he was great. Henry was to the point, let me observe and showed me what he was doing. Now I know why and how the drain line kept backing up. A lot of maintenance things my husband and I thought we were doing right - we weren’t!

I purchased the maintenance contract because our issue was a maintenance neglect problem. We’d been offered the plan in the past and always thought about it, but never took action. I’m glad I finally did it so now the lines will be cleaned BEFORE they start backing up and leaking all over the utility room. Thank you, Henry!!

Falcon was fantastic! We came home from vacation to find our AC was out on the hottest day of the year. We called falcon after hours and they came out the next morning. Our technician Ricardo was very knowledgeable, professional, and explained everything thoroughly. He replaced our capacitor in just a few minutes with a fair price. Would highly recommend!

I’m writing this review after two years. If you are buying based on google review here are few things to consider. Buy it from lemon warranty sellers. This is a Carrier unit. They sold me a defective unit. The day after installation, the drain pan began leaking. They serviced and repaired it, and I assumed it was a one-time issue. Six months later, the heating fan started making noise, and they fixed that too. A year in, the capacitor melted, and they repaired it. At 15 months, the blower became very noisy, and they fixed it as well. This unit is clearly a lemon. I asked for a replacement or an extended labor warranty, but they never responded. My labor warranty expired now I'm on my own.May be I'm the only one so unfortunate among their customers. Extended labor warranty was not offered, I checked the work order after falcon responded to my review. GO somewhere else l!!!! There are companies who offer labor full coverage warranty and lemon warranty. Fact that the response from falcon gives you all you need to know. I stated nothing but facts. My concern is bad installation and bad product and bad customer service.

Pretty easy to set up an appointment and they arrived an hour into the appointment slot. The technician was friendly and highly knowledgeable, explaining what he was checking for and the reasoning. For any problems he found, he suggested a reasonable solution without the unnecessary sales pitches. I would definitely recommend this company and understand why they are so busy.

Falcon does it again. Wednesday night our A/C went down. Montgomery answered my call Thursday morning at 7:10 and despite being fully booked, he rearranged the schedule and had Ahmad at my door at 9:45, fifteen minutes early from his scheduled 4 hour window. Ahmad was the ultimate professional and expert, diagnosing, explaining, and fixing the problem within 20 minutes. He explained all my options and gave me a breakdown of the cost with the annual plan and without, without any pressure. The annual plan made sense so I went with that as it saves money on the diagnosis and the part. I’ve always used Falcon since building our home in 2014 and the reason why is the quality of individual they send to your home. Ahmad was kind and super proficient and knowledgeable. I tell everyone about Falcon because there is a difference in service that you notice right away.
