Constraction reviews in Virginia Beach, Virginia

The whole team at IPC are great! Scott is incredibly knowledgeable and noticed things during our remodel that no one else saw. His team communicated well with my wife and I through the whole process. Even one of their electricians, Justin, was awesome. He really went above and beyond to get circuits where we wanted them. GREAT job IPC Team!

Frank and Sebastian installed a new side panel to my sliding glass door. They were very friendly and wonderful to work with. They took excellent care of my personal belongings. I was very satisfied with the result of their work and would consider using Interior Power Construction for future projects.

IPC was extremely professional and did an incredible job on completely remodeling my 3 BR condo at the beach. The owner takes great pride in his work and manages the labor very well all during the project. I found them very trustworthy as they were left alone in the condo without anyone else. Definitely recommend them for any project.

My husband and I hired IPC the first time in 2016 for a complete renovation of the interior of a home we purchased in Atlantic Shores Retirement Community. To say we were delighted with the outcome is such an understatement! Scott and his crew did an amazing job - so much so that we were asked to open our home for the annual Open House tour just 4 months after it was completed. Pictures of their work at our home are now used to show prospective buyers what it is possible to do with the homes here and our realtors still bring folks through to see our home in ‘real life’.
IPC has such a wonderful reputation here. Homeowners are anxious to have a reputable, neat, qualified company update their home and my husband and I make sure everyone knows who to call for that service! Scott and his crew are so warm and friendly, polite and neat that everyone wants to get on their list for work at their homes!
Our next project with IPC was the addition of a screened porch on the back of our home in 2018. Facing a beautiful lake made this almost a mandatory addition! Again, the quality of work, professional and personable crew and beautiful outcome is shown in pictures that advertise our community.
You really shouldn’t look anywhere else when looking for top quality construction work. IPC offers that and so much more! -
More than 2 years ago I met Scott Sanders and his team of electricians as part of my kitchen remodel. I was impressed with his professionalism and his team. They rewired the new space and provided me with ease in knowing everything was done to code.
This past year I decided to address the master bathroom, I had discovered some water issues and knew I needed to have this corrected. I also my husband and I are getting older and needed to have the remodel completed with ADA concepts. His team were timely, professional, trustworthy, and showed strong work ethics day after day. The new shower now has a small step over, grab bars all around, none slip cast iron shower pan, a bench and the shower head with hose long enough to complete a refreshing shower.
And the greatest feature is a 36 inch pocket door. This room is magnificent.
Later into the new year we will have our outside porch refreshed by Scott and his team. I cannot say enough about Scott. He is a compassionate businessman that addresses every detail.
Thank you to Scott and his team. -
IPC (Interior Power Contacting) was a pleasure to work with during our extensive master bathroom remodel. Rick and Doug, who did the work, were very professional, courteous and almost became members of the family during their time with us. In addition, I found their prices to be very fair and competitive with the other quotes that I received. We couldn't be happier with the entire experience.

We’ve received numerous laudatory comments concerning the quality of work and my wife and I still shake our heads in amazement every time we go into our beautiful new kitchen. As we continue to modernize/upgrade our home, IPC will be our contractor of choice. The quality of work is outstanding, the pricing is honest and the people are great to work with.
Throughout the duration of the project, Scott and his talented Craftsmen exhibited a totally professional caring and patient attitude with us. They made us feel like what was about to be done was not only important to us but also to them.
Thanks for everything,
Paul and Dorothy -
We had high expectations and they met them all. We used Accent Kitchen and Bath years ago for our kitchen renovation and didn’t hesitate to call them for our bathroom. We appreciate the efforts of the Accent staff.

We are very pleased with our experience with Accent Kitchens & Baths. They did a total kitchen remodel as well as the master bathroom. They replaced old time paneling in our dining room and den with new drywall. They also did new LVT flooring throughout our kitchen and den. In addition there were electrical upgrades with new lighting. They widened two doorways to create more flow in our 1960s bungalow.
In all our years with different renovations we have never had a contractor deliver on everything that was promised. We were given a three month schedule with details of work being done daily. They kept to that schedule. Their designer, Chrissy Blair, was on top of things throughout the entire process and was our advocate. This was a stress reducer! Thank you to all the skilled tradesmen and to Chrissy and company owner, Steve Dubanevich!
We recommend Accent Kitchens and Baths! -
I have used Accent Kitchens for many years and many different types of jobs. Steve and his installers designed and installed my kitchen when I built a home and also put in a lovely custom fireplace cabinet in my condo. His ideas are always good and the workmanship is the highest quality. I will continue to use Accent Kitchens for any improvements I make in the future and I highly recommend this company for all types of jobs.

After due diligence we finally settled on Accent Kitchens and Baths to do our kitchen remodel. Cindy, our designer, was the first person we met and she was wonderful to work with. She was the reason we decided to go with Accent. She expertly guided us through the process from our remodel choices to the final walkthrough. We relied on her a lot and she was always there to get through all of the problems (and there will be some). This company provides a schedule and sticks to it. From demo to the finished product, the journey was amazing. A few mentions about their core group: Emmanuel is a very talented carpenter, maybe the best. Cliff is a very meticulous tile installer and the fantastic backsplash really ties the countertop and cabinets together. Gil, the electrician (alias the comedian), performed a lot of work since we decided to remove our soffits above our old cabinets and we enjoyed his sense of humor. Mark (demo and trim) and Steve (project manager) did an excellent job installing our electric fireplace in our breakfast nook. Mark fought hard and won when removing our old wood burning fireplace. Veronica, our flooring expert, was attentive to our needs and the flooring turned out great. Terri (administrative assistant) was always available to answer any questions. Steve, the owner, cares how well the project goes and you will see him quite a lot. His recommendations for the extra add-ons really provided a beautiful finishing touch to how the kitchen turned out. If you choose to remodel your kitchen, be prepared to go through a difficult process. It’s dirty and dusty in the beginning, your house is turned upside down (just a figure of speech), and over 7 weeks it turns into something beautiful. We can’t think of a better group of people to hire for a kitchen remodel than Accent Kitchens and Baths. They are highly recommended!

Workmanship and quality of work is Superb!
-
Look this company up on "Wavy TV 10" they are being accused of ripping off an old couple for $180,000. "BUYER BEWARE"
-
Workmanship is outstanding, very knowledgeable crew who took time to make sure the job was done right and to our satisfaction.

I haven’t dealt with this company but after hearing the story about the Thomas’s residents this guy should be ashamed and held accountable for what those people are going through. Would not recommend them to anyone I know that’s for sure
-
They were all very professional and accommodating. They were able to complete any task I asked of them. Including electrical. The custom shelves are perfect! Thank you so much! I will recommend to everyone and will call for any future needs!!!

Do not use this company. Their license has been revoked by the Virginia DPOR in March of 2022 (Department of professional and occupational Regulations) due to violations. At this point any work done by the company or the owner is being done without a license therefore in violation. Look up the license # at dpor.virginia.gov. for additional details. Also, numerous cases in the VA court system for both Virginia Beach and Chesapeake going back to 2013 (vacourts.gov). Do your research and be sure to check these and other sites with the company name and the owners name before making a decision. You may be surprised at what you find in public records alone.

Do your homework people and look him up first. Wavy TV did a story about the Thomas family who he stole $180,000 from. He did not pay his contractors and they walked off the job. Left the Thomas family without a home for over 3 years. During the time they were without a home they lost their 42 year old son to Covid then Mrs. Thomas broke her elbow and had to have surgery, and then this April Mr. Thomas passed away and never got to live in his house again. The pain and suffering he caused this family is unreal.

Stay away from Regal and especially Mr. Glen Sweitzer Jr. There are many other companies that will stand behind their work to ensure satisfaction. Mr. Glen Sweitzer Jr. can talk the talk, but did not deliver on my project. I'm waiting to have issues noted on the final punch list corrected one and a half years after Mr. Glen Sweitzer (Regal) was paid in full.
-
Regal did a terrific job completely rebuilding two bathrooms in our home. The workmanship was excellent, especially the tile work, and the employees were very conscientious and respectful. This was a great experience.

Job (front porch construction/addition) was not completed in accordance with original plans to include deck measurements and electrical/lighting installation.
Company expected me, the home owner, to be present for and explain to city planners construction work.
I, the homeowner, had to pay an outside entity to provide engineering certification to the city.
We lost over 15k, plenty of time, and bore a lot of stress over this project (“completed” in 2021).
