The Johns, as we grew to call them (owner and 2 crew members), were fantastic. From our initial consult to reviewing 3D renderings to meeting with the install crew, all members were polite and respectful of our property. Quotes were timely, detailed and left no questions unanswered.

Install, plumbing, electrical and concrete crews were great as well. Constant communication on schedules and final detail selections made this process as stress-free as it could get.

We recently had a fiberglass pool installed in our new build with Premier Pools & Spas and frankly, we couldn't be happier. I called several of the references provided by John and everyone spoke glowingly about the team.

We moved into our home on March 7th or so and our pool was basically 100% complete by April 15th. We were lucky with weather and they were ready to go.

There are several Johns on the team - but John the co-owner who works with you for initial consult and choosing your pool size, shape and color, is wonderful. John the foreman is absolutely fantastic. He's polite, he's smart, he's been doing this forever and he's really good at what he does and he knows pools and will even give you his cell to call if you have questions after install. He really goes above and beyond and he could not have been nicer to me when I asked him to show me how to use our new tools. Very patient and kind.

We have a few outstanding things to be completed but they have come back promptly and quickly whenever we've called with a follow-up and our pool is beautiful!

They easily provided quotes and estimates as promised for record keeping and they kept tightly to their promised timelines for install and completion.

We chose custom stamp and color for our concrete and this wasn’t even an issue and was installed quickly and went well. It looks gorgeous.

They know tons of people and we were given fence and landscape contractors they knew and vetted and both were not only some of the best priced but also excellent quality.

We couldn't be happier with them and they even emailed us about a promo from Dominion Electric for a $400 rebate so we could use that! Heck yeah!

We have nothing but great things to say about working with Premier Pools & Spa. Our fiberglass pool was installed in record time despite going through hoops with the city and the preservation board. Their work is meticulous and they were extremely responsive when ever we had questions. Thank you to both Johns and the entire team for making this process painless. We LOVE the space we have created!

I had the most horrible experience with this company. I had a completely blank canvas to work with in our new yard. Not a tree or shrub anywhere. We loved our totally flat yard. PP did not put our fiberglass pool in deep enough (see pics below) so they had to build a concrete step up to get to the pool. Now at all what we planned! This caused a slight slope around the entire pool. They tried to bring in a truckload or two of dirt to fill in the slope but it was not enough. We had to spend thousands that we did not plan for to camouflage their huge error. We had to have tons of rocks and shrubs delivered to try to hide the slope around the entire pool. We only planned for concrete around the pool. Our neighbor no longer talks to us because he states that the new raised landscape in our yard causes flooding in his yard that he never had until we had the pool installed. We paid $3700 to have a French drain put in on his property because we did not want any problems. The worst part of their huge error was seeing two of my little grandchildren fall flat on their faces because they forgot about the step. I told John this would happen but he did not listen. I asked him to take the pool out and put it in properly (level with the ground) but he refused. When we have a lot of rain we have to use a sump pump to remove excess water. We called the company to see where the feature was that could possibly backwash (not sure if that is the correct term) the water. They said they forgot to put that on our system and would come and address that for us but they never did. Yet another mistake by this company.

Although we enjoyed our previous backyard, our ultimate dream was to build a little Oasis. Well, it finally happened…THANK YOU Premier Pools & Spas - Virginia Beach for making our Oasis a reality. John Witte and his team were amazing throughout the entire process from designing, breaking ground, landscaping, concrete deck, and the pizza oven. Their professionalism and attention to detail removed any concerns we had with giving our backyard a total renovation. As a first-time pool owner, I really took advantage of the saying “Call us anytime if you have questions, we are here for you”. After the build was complete, Premier Pools & Spas always answered my calls and dropped by to make sure my questions were addressed.

Great experience working with Premier Pools and Spas! All of the staff and installers are excellent and very helpful. The pool selection process was easy and the sales staff is very knowledgeable of all the pools we reviewed. From pool layout to dig day and then to finished setup was a smooth and quick process. All of the pool equipment installed is top notch. The decorative edge tile and coping bricks they suggested was the perfect accent to the pool style and color we selected. We highly recommend getting your pool from Premier Pools and Spas!

Absolutely thrilled with Premier Pools—and especially with John!

We reached out to six different companies for quotes, and Premier Pools stood out from the very beginning. John was the first to respond, and within just 24 hours of our first meeting, he had a detailed, realistic 2D model ready for us. No other company came close in terms of responsiveness, professionalism, or vision—John was on it from day one, and that’s why we chose Premier.

Throughout the entire process, John’s communication was phenomenal. He was quick to reply, always available, and incredibly accommodating. We live just 10 minutes from the office, so he always stopped by personally to meet with us, drop off items, or pick up checks. That kind of dedication made the whole experience even better.

We did a full new pool installation and made a few custom upgrades along the way. We added more concrete than originally planned, created a beautiful extra-wide walkway, and included bubblers—which were a total hit! If you’re on the fence about adding bubblers, do it. Kids absolutely love the water feature, and it’s one of their favorite parts of the pool along with a very friendly shallow end that is a perfect area for young children to play- our dogs love it too!

The whole process was smooth, fast, and stress-free. Premier Pools delivered exactly what we wanted—and more. We’re beyond happy with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. If you’re building a pool, ask for John. He truly made the experience exceptional!

We are very pleased with our kitchen remodel. We removed a wall, moved plumbing and electrical, changed a window, changed doorways replaced flooring, cabinets, and countertops.

Dave Smith, the contractor, was very knowledgeable and confident. His pricing is fair and reasonable and he is easy to communicate with. He does great work. He does a little bit of everything, and if he doesn’t do it, he has capable folks who do.

We began working with Dave with a pretty good idea of what we wanted. His wife, Melisa, helped us finalize the design. They were patient with us as we changed our minds during the process.

The result is even better than I had dreamed. The only reason I didn’t rate a 5 is because the project took 3 months to complete when it was estimated to take 5 weeks. Maybe that’s the nature of the business. It was worth the wait, but it made planning ahead difficult.

A more accurate estimate or a shorter time frame to finish would have earned a 5 star. Everything else was perfect.

Absolutely one of the best contractors we've ever worked with be it for private homes or commercial work. Do yourself a favor and give him a call if you need anything done. Work is very reasonably priced and the work is QUALITY. He did a remodel for us and also a lot of fine carpentry work.

THE most responsive contractor we've ever dealt with hands down, even if he can't make it on a certain day, he actually lets you know asap which definitely can't be said for a lot of other contractors that have you waiting around for them to show up or answer you. He is pretty busy but that is without a doubt the nature of the industry. He's worth waiting an extra week or 2 for and he'll always let you know what's going on and communicate which makes all the difference. Cleans up after themselves also more than a lot we've worked with in the past. Can't recommend him more.

Local Father & Sons company in Virginia Beach, Virginia. They do amazing work while paying very close attention to detail (will post pictures to follow). They also clean up very well at the end of each day. Absolutely wonderful to talk to and have around. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Such a great experience and will be hiring them again in the future.

An absolutely amazing father and son run electrical company! When I called them for my old house to rewire, they were quick to respond and scheduled me out for a quote.

When they came, we reviewed all of the electrical work that needed done and he wrote me up a scope and price for all the work to be done in and out.

I signed off on it and we got a final install date for a few weeks after signing(The price was exceptionally competitive in the market for the stellar quality work they ended out doing.) They came and we're in and out of my home quick and easy.

Once again, I could not recommend FAT Electric enough for all your residential or even commercial needs!

Frank always arrived at our appointment times for the estimate as well as the work itself. He installed a new electrical panel box and explained the entire process, pulled the proper permits and did the work in a timely and professional manner. Will definitely call him again in the future for electrical jobs. Highly recommend!

We had an unexpected explosion of water in our upstairs bathroom, leading to flooding both upstairs and downstairs. Thank you so much to Darin, and his amazing team at Neptune Restoration, for saving our house from more damage. They were here within a couple of hours of the leak and things were on their way to becoming dry by that evening!
They were fast, professional, kept things clean, and we felt very reassured that our “disaster” was in good hands. Highest recommendation!!

This is my 2nd time using Neptune, and they have come out same day or next day, usually within 24 hours to take moisture readings, and set up equipment to begin drying things out. Absolutely call day or night, even weekends, leave a message & you will be called back.

Steve, Kevin, Darrin, Brian, James....I've dealt with all of these guys, very professional, courteous and will explain in detail the issues at hand, the process involved to remedy the situation, while working quickly and efficiently to protect and prevent more damage to your property.
They also work directly with the insurance company to get things resolved, sending any pictures, readings, evidence necessary to the adjuster.
I could not have asked for a better company to come in and handle everything than Neptune!

I had a fantastic experience with Neptune Restoration, specifically with Tim. After being let down by another company, I called Neptune Restoration on a Saturday and spoke with Steve, who was very nice and helpful. Tim came out the same day! He was incredibly professional, answered all my questions thoroughly, and performed the necessary work efficiently. He returned on time as promised for follow-up checks and cleanup. 10/10 recommend Tim and Neptune Restoration!
