I had a fantastic experience with A1 Sewer & Drain on June 18, 2025. Technician Pat Burns did a phenomenal job installing my new water heater. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient throughout the entire process. Pat took the time to explain everything clearly, ensured the installation was done safely and correctly, and left the area spotless when he was done. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the quality of service I received. Highly recommend A1 Sewer & Drain—and especially Pat Burns—for any plumbing needs!

Jeremy arrived on time and was extremely personable. He checked multiple possibilities for my lack of hot water including the heater, the breaker, and the meter. He was able to determine that it was not the heater but a leak. He was extremely knowledgeable and came out same day on a Sunday.

A1 knows good people and hires them. Mike from A1 came out to my old brick home with the iron pipes underneath and replaced J pipe underneath the sewer line and replaced all the iron underneath the toilet with PVC and did a great job. It was unbelievable how bad a house built in 1960 would be with all that wrought iron underneath, but it’s all sealed and a very conscientious way. Very happy with Mike’s work and I am very happy that A1 sewage and drain has dependable people like that. Price was reasonable, and the job was done in a matter of time that was needed without rushing and doing it right.

Danny and his assistant Bryan did a phenomenal job of removing our aged cast iron drain and replacing it with 60+ ft of PVC. These guys are true professionals in their trade and their workmanship speaks volumes for the pride they have in their work. I was kept me abreast of the project from start to finish so there was no surprises. They ensured the work area was safe at all times and cleaned up the area at the end of each day. These guys worked hard through this rainy and cold multi day project into the evening to ensure the impact to our home was minimal. I would absolutely recommend this company for your plumbing needs and ask for Danny and Bryan to tackle your project. Thanks for a wonderful experience to an unfortunate situation.

Great experience all around. Found a leak in my kitchen ceiling after getting out of the shower after work at 1am tuesday morning, I live in a 3 story townhouse and the bathroom is above the kitchen. Called shortly after finding the leak and was connected to a tech James who agreed to come out Wednesday at 830 am. Once James arrived, he was quickly able to diagnose the issue of being a leaking pipe. A quick time later, he had it fixed, at which point I asked about a few other issues I was noticing, i.e., a small leak coming from my toilet. Again, he found the issue fast, plus he found out the water line was also an issue besides the wax ring. All said and done James arrived at 830, due to no fault of his own, and was finished by 1030am, that's including having to run to the hardware store for a wax ring. This company goes above and beyond to make sure it's customer's are happy and that all work is completed in a timely fashion. God willing nothing bad happens in the future, but if it does I know who I'm going to call to fix it.

A1 was amazing! They were super quick to come out. Originally said 2ish hours but I got a call from Mike that he could be there in 10-15 min. He was super polite, answered all my questions, and knocked out the work so fast. My spigot went from busted and pouring water to replaced and brand new in less than an hour. $256 for all that and my babies and I have water again and are safe and happy. Thank you, Mike!

OMG! FAST! I’m a short term rental Airbnb host. I had gas leak on my water heater. The gas company shut the valve off and RED tagged it! I had a house FULL of guests that were at work. I GOOGLED and found A1. Took a chance and called. I managed to get squeezed in same day! The young man came in to fix the problem just before the guests came in from work! I never had to alert my guests about the issue and didn’t have to lose in my reviews! A COMPLETE WIN! A1 lives up to the hype!! My technician was AMAZING! He shared pieces of jerky for my fur babies! He was professional, unbiased, and clean. He was in and out! My boys needs a raise or promotion to lead technician or something!

Ethan was very professional as well as the entire team... from assessment to estimating and scheduling, the process was seamless and I was kept in-the-loop the entire time. I've been calling on A1 for many years for my plumbing needs and they have never failed to deliver quality workmanship. In this case, they were dealing with the gas water heater I had purchased and they had to modify the height of the stand due to height differences from old to new, which was done in short-order. Haul-away and cleanup was quick.

Best experience I’ve had with any home maintenance problems. Quick with scheduling, even quicker and more efficient during actual appointment. Will be having them back to assist with a non emergency issue next month. Highly recommend.

Justin and his coworker were top notch. Very professional and knowledgeable. They replaced two P-traps in our bathroom from a recent remodel fixing it the correct way. Also helped look for a small leak in a second bathroom. They left everything clean - will definitively recommend and will use them again.

Atomic always is very responsive when I call with a problem. The next morning Randy called and came first thing. He was very efficient and the plumbing issue was resolved quickly. He was a pleasure to talk to and explain all that was necessary to fix the toilet and explained cost. I would recommend them and Randy every time.

Trey with Atomic Plumbing came out 30 minutes after contacting the office. Both men that came out was great. Trey explained everything, quoted prices with options. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Trey and the others I interacted with were polite, friendly and more than willing to assist even though it was late afternoon. I would recommend Atomic.

Thankful for the early appointment. Chris looked at the pipes and explained what should be done, why, how much it cost, and how long it will take before he began the repair. He knew what to do and got the job done. He is very respectful and professional. The end result speaks for itself, new pipes that meets current standard, and looks so much better. The clean up was meticulous. He obviously takes pride in his work.

Atomic is our "go to" when having plumbing issues of any kind. We've been with them for years so it was no surprise that Mike C. and Brayden S. arrived promptly this morning to check the slow drainage of our bathtub. Within minutes Mike identified the problem and he and Brayden had our tub drain cleared and draining properly. Some say that Atomic's pricing is leaning on the steep side of costs but when you have drainage issues, back up issues or just need repairs, you can't beat their service or commitment to their customers. Alan was extremely professional. Not only did he take his time to make sure the job got done right he did it without any mess and still cleaned the area to leave it nicer than when he arrived. He fixed 3 toilets, removed roots from the drain line, snaked one sink and replaced a hot water heater in quicker then I thought possible. The quality of his work was top notch. Not a single issue upon the final check for leaks and probably function. I will highly recommend not only atomic plumbing but alan specifically to friends and neighbors.

Kale Thatcher and Will were the ultimate professionals. Their work was exceptional. They removed a very old, extensive heavy pipe from my house’s shallow 1923 crawlspace. Kale’s detailed detective work with help from Braden determined that the pipe was no longer needed. It had to be removed in order for foundation work to be performed. Kale’s communication and conscientiousness throughout the process were unmatched in my 32 years of working with contractors on my old house. He cared about doing the job right and ensured I knew what was happening all the way, Additionally he communicated/coordinated with another professional working in my home ……a serendipitous thing that will expedite the next steps to ensure my house will enhance Norfolk’s landscape for years to come.
