Outstanding company! Had another company look at a job at my house. Luckily we called A1 take a second look. The knowledgeable team at A1 found the actual issue that the first company misdiagnosed. Was able to quickly schedule the repair at a fraction of the cost. A1 saved my family over 15k! Quick, clean, and most of all honest. Outstanding experience with every member of the company we have interacted with.

If you've ever had to have your home's water main replaced, you know all the stress that comes along with it. Every scheduler, technician and supervisor I interacted with through the whole project was kind, informative, and professional. They made an otherwise scary experience so much easier. They methodically diagnosed the problem since it wasn't immediately apparent, and when the issue was discovered the work they did was excellent. There were so many little things I thought I'd need to do that they took care of. And the price was very fair for the work done. I highly recommend this company.

That’s the second time we had this team guys do a job. First it was a leak in the sewage system and they had to break through the concrete and do extensive repairs and replacement.
They did an amazing job. Then we had a leak in the upstairs bathroom and they did an excellent job and spilt the bathroom into 2 full bath where there was one before.
they are on time, thorough with their job and professional.

Benny and Robert were a great guys easy to talk with and great at what they do. They are knowledgeable and I would recommend them highly.

I cannot say enough horrible things about this company. I purchased my home in 2024 and had work down by A1 as well as JES, I will be leaving a review for them as well. They’re both owned by the same company. I spent 50k+ between the two projects. They spent months trying to complete the plumbing job unable to figure it out. They ripped up my entire brick driveway to connect a pipe to the main sewer (they had originally hooked up the pipes to an old sewer line that was completely closed and blocked off and wondered for weeks and weeks why things weren’t working) and I called nearly every single day to see when they’d be over to put my driveway back together. Every day I got the same answer a manager will be over, a manager will call you (+1 (757) 902-0488). They sent a two man crew over eventually who just sat in the truck across the street and told me they were waiting for more working to show up. No one ever showed up, I was 9 months pregnant laying bricks down in my driveway after spending $50k. I reached out to the original salesman who sold me the $42k job for the foundation crickets, but when he wanted to sell the job instant replies. Just called A1 again (don’t know why) for what seemed to be a clog and they said no clog dumped 2 gallons of water down my drain for $269, they snaked my toilet which had nothing to do w anything and now it’s magically not working. I still wonder why no one ever came over to fix my driveway. You’re both owned by the same company? Why did I spent over $50k on work that was never completed. Why did every manager ignore my calls, why can I never get through to a manager? We then got cited by the city because no one came to pick anything up or put the driveway back together. They left all of their garbage throughout my house/outside of my house. Stay far away from them and JES. THEY WILL SELL YOU A JOB but will not finish it.

This is no fault to their technician. It's their computerized assessment of the job. The computer will not listen to the human explanation that the repair will be minor because e erythjng was prepared for the easy access of the drain pipe. But still their computer still want to charge me $1200 for drain pipe adjustment to fit the shower base pan's hole. Blame it to their computer program's assessment of the job and pricing.

Update: Ms. Elizabeth from A1 Sewer & Drain Plumbing reached out to me and addressed the issue. It was a cordial conversation and she's very understanding. She offered to refund some of my payment, and charged me a reasonable amount for inspection and testing done by the technician who was very nice.

Called for a issue with water backing up in my bathroom. Jarrod Fulginiti was able to come out same day. His service was amazing. He took time explaining the issue and allowed me to learn a bit as he worked. He took his time and made sure the problem was resolved before leaving. I felt well taken care of and am happy I chose A1.

We had a back up that turned out to be roots in the external piping, and found out that our cast-iron is about as thin as aluminum foil. We’ve used A1 before and this time was no exception, they’re informative, helpful, knowledgeable, and honestly just plain nice which is something when you’re having a bad day and the whole house smells like old poo-water.
Jeronmy (I’m sorry man I probably mispronounced that the whole time) was awesome. Efficient, knowledgeable, patient with curious kids, and the dog liked him too. Plumbing work is always gonna hurt but they have good prices and a great staff, and they make the process as painless as I’ve ever seen. They’re terrific and trustworthy.

A sign that a business truly cares about their customer is when they reach out to correct any negative that may have occurred. And when I say the follow up was outstanding that is an understatement. After the second visit from CJ and some questions, I can proudly say that I have jumped the gun on my previous review. This is a perfect example of how as a customer when something doesn’t go right you need to reach out first for a solution before just posting a negative review. That way you give them a chance to do right by you. And A1 sewer and drain definitely did right by me. I will be recommending everyone that asks me who I should go to for plumbing to them for sure. I will be leaving the old post at the bottom as a reminder that A1 is a top tier company that care about their customers.

To be honest this was a waste of $90. On 29Dec2025 I Was told that they couldn’t drill a pipe hole because they don’t know where the pipe is, then in the same breath was told that in order to do the job they will have to install the pipe from the crawl space going up. I’m no professional but I feel like you can drill a hole the same way for the pipe to fit. It’s not like I need them to hook up a sink, I just need the connection to be there for when I get my sink. I’m really unsatisfied with this. And now will have to come out of pocket for more money to figure this out. No a happy customer at all…

Kendrick and his coworker were incredible. This was the second time I've used A1 for plumbing needs and the service was beyond outstanding. Both workers were very friendly, communicative, and provided exceptional and quick service. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!

We had new countertops installed, and they do not connect the plumbing after. When I called around 10am, they were able to fit me in for a 3PM appointment the same day. Our Technician, Rob, called and was able to come 20 minutes early since we were available. It was a long job because it required a whole reconstruction to have our new undermount sink to have proper plumbing. I attached before and after photos. Rob was great and professional, and even thought he finished around 7:30 PM, they did not charge additional money for “after hours” for this 3.5+ hour job. I highly recommend this company to anyone.

I had a great experience with Justin from A1 Sewer and Drain. It was great to see them come out on Christmas Eve. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and explained the problem clearly before starting the work. The repair was done efficiently and at a fair price. This was a repeat time with them.

James provided excellent service! He was able to come out earlier than expected due to a cancellation, which was a huge plus. He was professional, knowledgeable, and worked quickly without sacrificing quality. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this company!

The technician, Pat Burns called me quickly after I placed an emergency call on Sunday morning. He was prompt, professional, explained everything well, even called water damage to come out and start cleanup. But most of all, he was kind and considerate, answering my questions and putting my concerns first. After demo work was completed, Patrick Glenn from A-1 came out and repaired the burst pipe quickly. I am so glad I called A-1! They made what could have been a nightmare a very manageable situation! I highly recommend calling them for your plumbing needs!

Outstanding and very professional work. New water heater installed and old one removed in a very short time. I’m very impressed and happy with the excellent customer service and care from A1 Plumbing!

Patrick was wonderful! He was very quick, knowledgeable and was a very nice person with excellent customer service. I highly recommend him and would have him back in the event of another dire need for plumbing service. God bless him and his family. 🙏

UPDATE: Thank you to the GM for reaching out. She was very polite and professional and offered a refund for the dispatch fee, which I appreciate. The issue was never about the money, but about the service and communication. I appreciate the swift response and resolution. I hope this was a one-off situation, and I would consider using A1 again in the future. I’ve updated my rating to reflect how this was addressed.

I previously had a great experience with A1 Sewer and Drain, which is why I called them again. Unfortunately, this time my experience was not as positive. I called because I was receiving a low-flow error on my washer. The technician who came out seemed pressed for time from the start. He offered a few possible causes and suggested watching YouTube videos to fix the issue myself. If I wanted to diagnose and repair it on my own, I wouldn’t have called a professional. It felt like the visit was more about collecting the dispatch fee than fully addressing the problem.
I don’t believe this reflects A1 as a whole, and it may have simply been an off day, but it was still a disappointing experience.

I am glad I chose A1. My drain was backing up into my shower/toilet. I was able to get an appt with A1 in two days. Pat came out and did his best to snake out the drain but to no avail. He showed me a picture where 60+ years of sludge had built up and that I needed to have it it jetted. Josh and James came out today and cleaned the years of sludge. I felt comfortable at every level. I will use them again.

Called A1 plumbing for a estimate on replacing my hot water heater. They came out that afternoon gave me the estimate and three days later they were installing my hot water heater. Mike and his associate did the installation and did an excellent job. The work was done in under two hours, no mess no leaks excellent job. I appreciate their professionalism and expertise would highly recommend A1 plumbing in the future.

Pat at A1 Sewer and Drain was amazing! He came to fix something that unexpectedly happened while my undermount sink was being installed. He took the time to ensure there were no leaks and that everything worked properly! Thanks Pat!!!!

Technician Jarrod Fulginiti from A1 Sewer & Drain went completely above and beyond for our family. After a new water heater was installed, we were still dealing with leaking pipes and had no hot water for over a week during very cold weather.

Jarrod even spent his own money to get a hose so the water heater tank could be properly drained, then went out of his way to get the parts needed to fix the ignition so the unit would turn back on. Because of his hard work, we finally have hot water again before extreme cold temperatures hit this weekend.

He was professional, hardworking, and genuinely cared about making sure our family was taken care of. We are extremely thankful for him and would absolutely want him again for any future plumbing issues.

I usually wait a few months following anything that is installed to make sure that everything goes well. Ken, Ryan and Javon did an absolutely wonderful job under the circumstances that they had to face. My water heater went out during the winter time and not only were they quick in response but they also beat every competitor in price. Will definitely be giving them a call for any other issues in their realm of expertise for the future.
