I had issue with my LG fridge not being cold enough. I reached out to LG support and they sent a technician from Home and Appliance Medic to help me take a look at the fridge.

The technician promptly did all the troubleshooting and helped me replace the compressor. The fridge is working like new now.

I was given this company’s number by LG to fix my LG fridge. I was a little worried to be honest but Home and Appliance Medic LLC.did amazing. I called the number and they were able to get me scheduled much faster than LG. The tech named Mulk called prior to arrival to let me know he was coming. We don’t wear shoes in our house but he had boot covers. He laid down floor covers to protect my house while he worked. He was courteous, fast and efficient. Highly recommend!

DO NOT BOOK WITH Home and Appliance Medic due to delays, unprofessional conduct, and a refusal to complete a repair assigned through my home warranty company.

On May 10, 2025, I reported an issue with my dryer. By May 12, the warranty company sent an initial technician who diagnosed a motor error. However, a second opinion was requested, and Home and Appliance Medic was assigned.

Before visiting my home, their technician called and asked about the issue. I explained the error code, which he acknowledged indicated a motor problem. He said he would report that to the warranty company so they could proceed with the repair. He did not submit the report. Instead, he contacted me three days later to schedule a visit—not for repair, but just to inspect the unit, despite already knowing the issue. He then delayed sending the report for five more days, further delaying warranty approval and part ordering.

When the part finally arrived, I was contacted on June 4, but I was unavailable due to travel. I explained that the delay was caused by their earlier inaction. Rather than offering real solutions, the technician argued with me about availability and suggested a time that still fell within the window I had said I was unavailable. I asked him to follow up with the warranty company.

Instead, I received a text message—not a call—stating that he would no longer be servicing my repair. He then blocked my number. I have this message as proof. This was unprofessional and abrupt, especially since all payment had already been processed.

In addition, during his visit, the technician asked me to help him unstack the dryer, which I found inappropriate. I’m concerned that this conduct may have been discriminatory in nature, as I was treated with a lack of courtesy and respect.

This experience has been unnecessarily stressful and completely unacceptable. I filed an official complaint with the BBB on this company. For stealing money from my home warranty and failure to render services.

We submitted a repair request on Saturday, and by Tuesday, the technician was already here. The response was impressive—quick and efficient. He was highly communicative, respectful, and kind throughout the process. I can't praise the service enough. He asked insightful questions and listened without judgment. After a thorough assessment, he repaired within 1-hr. He even followed up 24 hours later to ensure everything was satisfactory. I am extremely pleased with the service provided. Excellent Service from Start to Finish

The entire service experience was outstanding. Scheduling the appointment was quick and easy, and the technician arrived right on time, which I really appreciated. He was able to quickly identify the issue and got to the bottom of it without delay. He then fixed the problem efficiently, all while being professional, polite, and respectful throughout the visit.

They tried hanging the dryer vent with zip ties and when that didn’t work, they left the duct and mess they created on the floor. The room was clean and orderly bc a tenant is moving in this afternoon. When I asked him to clean his mess, he said he didn’t bring the mess with him, but he made the mess.
