Would like to thank Joe White for installing a replacement sump pump . He was prompt and knowledgeable. 58 foundations stands behind their work

My 90 yo mother-in-law had B-Dry come out and waterproof her basement over 20 years ago. A few months ago, I found over a foot of sand in the bucket and more packed inside the pipes. 58 Foundations took over B-Dry's lifetime warranty. They sent a tech over to take a look, and he sent pictures to upper management. They absolutely did right by her, and their crew ended up replacing an entire side of the system and installing access pipes to be able to periodically flush it out. The guys were incredibly polite and did a great job.

From start to finish it was a great experience. I was given an estimate, all of my questions were answered and the work to be done was explained to me in detail. The crew foreman (sorry the name escapes me) was very knowledgeable, honest and straight forward. The crew themselves were wonder also, very respectful! The job was estimated to take 2 days and it only took 1. Fast and efficient! I am very happy with the work and I would most definitely recommend 58 Foundations!

The men sent do the remediation worked really hard. the leader of the gang and I got along really well and he was very meticulous about his work. The workmanship looks very professional. You can tell it’s not a flyby night operation. As far as I understand what’s going on the installation looks like it’s working to me. But here’s the fly in the ointment The people from Upgrade that provided the loan. Send me emails and text messages that are very confusing. For example, we agreed once Upgrade pays you then it’s up to me to repay Upgrade according to the contract which was clearly established to be. I’ll pay you back after 10 months so that there’s no charge on the interest. But the letters in the emails that they sent to me are really ambiguous and led me to believe Otherwise. I’ll handle that.

The crew that worked on my foundation were fantastic. They never stopped and it was very hard labor!

I would like to say how well of a job your team did. We had been getting water in our basement for a long time and now where the work was done it is dry. The team run by Juan were great. They did a terrific job, looks great and were very efficient. Thank you.

The install team was very professional. They were very tidy and efficient. I had a few special requests which they accommodated without exception. I would highly recommend and use their services again.

The work crew of Jose, Roger, Gustavo and Eddie did an excellent job. when it rained the rain was coming in through a portion of my wall. That caused mold buildup in my basement. The crew installed a new and improved sump pump and corrected the mold issue. It has rained since the job was completed, my basement is dry and smells nice. A job well done by the crew.

Great experience working with ‘58. Mike came out to inspect and give me an estimate. He was thorough and transparent. The crew who did the job were professional and competent. Very satisfied

After my initial not so great experience with the company in regard to fixing my basement water issues, I am glad to update my review to a much better one.
UPDATE! Thank you 58 foundations for reaching out and seeing what the issue was with the initial work. I appreciate the professionalism of your company and a team came over back to my home to correct the problem. I am glad we were able to talk about what needed to be fixed and was addressed by your company with zero issues. Job well done and would recommend 58 foundations team if asked -
CAUTIOUS WHEN DEALING WITH 58 FOUNDATIONS
Repeated Flooding and Poor Installation — Very Disappointed with 58 Foundations
In 2020, my family hired 58 Foundations to waterproof our basement and install a commercial-grade sump pump as part of a $10,000 plan. The crew completed the work in two days, but just weeks later, our basement flooded. The company admitted the pump had misfired and replaced it. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning.
Over the next few years, our basement flooded multiple times. Each visit revealed another mistake: one technician found the pump had been installed incorrectly and even had a hole drilled in the return valve, preventing proper function. Another said the pump was positioned too low and blocked. Each time, they made adjustments — even adding a second pump and alarm — but the flooding kept happening.
In 2025, after yet another water issue, a senior technician finally discovered that the original waterproofing itself had been done wrong. A section of wall and drain had never been covered by the waterproofing membrane. He repaired it quickly, but by then, the damage was done.
Because of these repeated floods, our homeowners insurance dropped us twice, and we’ve spent over $30,000 repairing damages and protecting our home. Despite acknowledging multiple installation errors, 58 Foundations has refused to offer any reimbursement or compensation.
We trusted this company to protect our home, and instead, their poor workmanship caused years of stress and loss. I would strongly caution others to seek a more reliable, accountable waterproofing contractor. -
The salesman was friendly and personable. He was able to quickly let us know what we needed. We scheduled service. The first day of the job no one showed up. After 4 calls and a text message to three different people, at 6 that night, we agreed to have the crew come out the next day. Please note - I took off from work this day and if I hadn’t called, no one would’ve known, as no one was aware the crew was a no show. The crew arrived ready to work. The only issue was no one in the crew was fluent in English. The person designated as the translator told me he was “learning” English and only knew a little. This was a barrier, as we had questions that they couldn’t answer. We ended up calling the office to ask our questions and had to send pictures via text to show what we were asking. The next day, they arrived 2 hours late. Again, I called as no one communicated this to me. The supervisor called back and said the crew had vehicle troubles and were on their way. They did arrive and worked hard. But because of the no show the first day and then late on the third, they were at my home until 8pm. We had to have the project manager come back out, as we had areas that weren’t finished and again when water came through the wall again. We are still waiting to hear about the sump pump cover. It’s been 2 months. Too much hassle to give anything more than 2 stars. And those stars are only there because of the salesman and woman who troubleshot all the problems with me. They earned these.

At my recent meeting with 58 Foundations I was truly impressed by John Thompson's helpfulness, knowledge, and perseverance in identifying the root cause of an issue. I don't know if I've met another contractor with such a deep pool of knowledge on so many areas that impact my home.
I've worked with 58 in the past for a large project and my experience with John made it clear that they have maintained excellent quality in the years since that work. -
58 foundations was great to work with for my crawl space project. The sales rep I worked with (Matt King) provided a thorough initial consult and was extremely patient and thoughtful in fielding all my Qs and finalizing the project plan with me. And he has continued to be readily available for post project support as we had one additional fix to resolve after the project. For which the team was very responsive. I highly recommend working with Matt and the 58 team.

The crew who serviced our property did an outstanding job and I would recommend them to anyone who needs waterproofing work done in their home, they completely finished our home in one day.
-
The lead, Diego Rodriguez, presented himself and his background via text before arriving. The admin ofc, sales person, etc were very competent and responsive. Great experience altogether.

I had them put in a new steel beam and 6 posts in my crawl space. Let’s go through all the reasons they got 2 stars.
Pro: the sales person Matthew King was very responsive to all my problems below. The stars are for him.
Cons: let’s start with day 1.
- first they said it would be Monday to Wednesday of one week. We took time off of work and requested telework in our very strict telework positions for those three days. They didn’t finish in those three days.
- on Monday, I got home from work and they had decided to change where the beam was to go because it would have been “easier” for me. Which in theory sounds great, but the beam has to be under a wall upstairs which would have been known if they had walked upstairs or spoken to someone. They did not. They had “called my engineer” well when I called my engineer, which I had hired on my own before this project, he told them that absolutely he did not say they could move it. So that became a big back and forth on day one.
- you’d think they would come back Tuesday right to fix it right? I stayed home from work and took time off, when at 10:30 I was told no one was coming to fix it. They also forgot to cancel the inspector for that day, so he showed up.
- Wednesday again no one showed up. And there goes our approved time off.
- Thursday, they decide they will do it all on one day. They fill the hole and put in a new hole (they also put the holes in the wrong spots not just not under the wall, but rather also under my one door). They decide to get it all done in one day. I figured after our discussion on the beam placement it would be correct. Well the front beam and the back beam are not lined up. My engineer told them they could split the beam, which fine. I was not in the mood to argue anymore after they had “finished” and it’s under warranty so it’s their money if something fails.
- Friday: the final inspector comes. No one from the company is here. And he fails them.
- the following week they “speak to the manufacturer” about a fix for the failure. And they get it finally approved entirely via picture (on week 3). After they come that Friday to do their “fix” to pass. Again it’s under warranty if it doesn’t work.
- now the aftermath: trash in my garden where they used for set up. I use my crawl space for storage, there is clothes, holiday decor, party supplies, kids toys, drinks, car seats, everything down there. I was told I just had to move it out of the way. So I did. And that they would put up “walls” to stop too much dust and dirt. Well shocker they did not so now a lot of stuff down here is so dusty it will have to be thrown away or deep cleaned. I keep a very clean crawl space (vacuum, etc, like a basement). So here we are 3 weeks later trying to reorganize and it’s so dusty you can only do a few minutes and have to change your clothes.
Mike Foreman, the project manager, was helpful when I finally got angry. But he is also the one who made all the decisions to change the plan (which was signed in the contract).
*photo is after I started putting everything back and got pissed off by the amount of dust. -
Work was done in the summer of 2025. Had developed a leak in our garage where water was coming up through the foundation block. Decided to also hear about crawlspace encapsulation when meeting with the sales rep. We live where the water table is very high and crawlspace is always damp despite having sump pump and dehumidier. Ultimately decided to have both jobs done. Crew showed up promptly. Very neat, put down sheets over all inside areas being walked on and cleaned up after themselves wherever they were. Job was supposed to take 3 days, but was completed in two. "Raff" (Rafael) was the crew lead and kept us well informed of the progress and what was being done as well as showing us an overview once the work was completed. We haven't had any water in the garage since the repair (crossing fingers) and the crawlspace has undergone a complete transformation, and is no longer smelling damp. Not going to lie- the job was expensive, but compettitive with other quotes. No complaints whatsoever as to the work done. Very satisfied with everything.

58 Foundations did a great job helping ensure the the property's foundation was in compliance and secured. Matt King went out of his way to help make the best affordable option and customized what I needed to fit my budget. Jennifer Fajardo helped facilitate the project. Gualberto Iriarte and the crew member helping him ensured the job was done properly. 58 Foundations is a great company with great results.

It was caked onwith 0 skill, a mess was left in my driveway, it was not esthetically pleasing like the prior pointing. It covered almost all the stone i was trying to keep open. Had i known this i would of had the entire bottom covered. And they missed one section of the back of the house also.

James and Rolly were in my basement carving up my carpet and drywall. They were so quick and efficient and took every damaged piece out of the house. I would give this company 10/10 if I could.
Thankyou
