Hudson's does the job! Mike got the new HVAC system scheduled & installed quickly (old heater conked out & it was sweater weather in the house). Mike's knowledgeable and efficient and also a nice person, polite & agreeable (as is his assistant). Very happy with his service and highly recommend Hudson's.

Perfection is possible! Our interaction with Hudson’s was the best gift we could hope for as inclement weather approached. Our water heater had become unrepairable with the implication that we would not have hot water or heat. We called around for replacement estimates but didn’t find a fit that could give us the assurance that the job would be completed by an experienced professional. This was a critical consideration as our system is gas powered and we needed to be assured that we would not be subject to all the things that could go wrong with improper installation. We finally found Hudson’s. Mike responded to our call within 30 minutes, tested the system and discussed the problem with us and within a few hours sent an estimate for our approval through an online link. Within 24 hours his crew worked late into the night to ensure we would have hot water and space heating. They treated us with the utmost courtesy and were truly sympathetic. The service was competitively priced. We actually ended paying close to $1,000 less than had been quoted by another contractor. The job was executed perfectly.Thanks Mike, you are a champ!

I've used other HVAC services in the area, and I can confidently say that Hudson's is the best! Responsive, competitively priced and professional sums Mike and his team up. I needed an old heat pump replaced; he quickly came and gave me a very fair quote for a new unit (I got other quotes too and he was the best). On install day, they showed up on time and replaced the old unit rapidly and efficiently, making sure the worksite was tidy when they departed. After our HVAC system went out, I got estimates from 5 different HVAC companies and 1 acquainted freelancer. Michael Hudson gave us the best estimate with an incredible price on a reliable name-brand system. He came out on July 4th and gave us all pros and cons on different brands and options. Instalation was soon scheduled and Mike was there himself. Mike is such an honest and hands-on person and I will recommend Mike to anyone who needs HVAC services.

I highly recommend Hudson's Heating & Air Conditioning! I've used them several times now. I initially used them to solve a problem with my air conditioner's and humidifier's interaction with my Nest thermostat. Neither worked properly after my new system was installed. After the original installer failed to fix over the course of a year, I hired a Google Nest expert who also failed to fix the issues I was having. Mike Hudson was highly recommended on NextDoor so I reached out to him. He fixed configuration issues with all three - the air, humidifier, and Nest. I found out during his latest visit he's now offering a very comprehensive maintenance package that extends to a few of the other appliances in my home. I signed up without hesitation. I would definitely recommend Hudson's Heating & Air Conditioning to anyone who is having issues or who just needs a maintenance plan. You won't be disappointed!

I contracted with Mike Hudson of Hudson's Heating and Air Conditioning in August 2025 to install a Carrier heat pump along with an air handler. The system is working well with no issues to date. Mike is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable and willing to answer all questions related to HVAC systems. He responded promptly to my emails and phone calls. The price was very competitive and included extra services not offered by other companies. I highly recommend Hudson for your HVAC needs.

First experience with Hudson’s and it was positive. Just purchased a home in Fairfax Station and needed some issues attended to that came up in the home inspection. We also needed more air diverted upstairs. Rolando was awesome. He def went the extra mile and we went through the whole system. He also didn’t rush through things and double and triple checked everything. I was super impressed with his thoroughness and efforts to tailor our system to our needs and also appreciated him not trying to nickel and dime us at every turn. Solid, respectable company that I will be using in the future.

We had a sudden pipe leak at our home that turned into a real emergency. Mike and his employee came out right away on the weekend, and they were able to quickly troubleshoot and diagnose the problem before resolving it just as fast. We can't thank them enough for their kindness and willingness to help us on short notice—we're a sick elderly couple, and having access to water is so important for us. They truly went above and beyond!

I purchased a new Carrier furnace which they installed the next week. Quiet, efficient with a 2 year service warranty and 10 year factory warranty. The price was excellent compared with ME Flow. Highly recommend Hudson Heating and Air Conditioning.

Rolando was prompt, professsional, and thorough! He performed a tuneup on the HVAC unit, diagnosed and replaced a failing capacitor and corrected an issue with our humidifier, all while explaining the issues clearly. I was very happy with his work, and will be reaching out again for future service!

Responsive vendor. Provided the best price and did great work, installing a gas furnace and in the wall AC unit. I was not present at the instalation, but my mom advised they were very courteous and worked clean. Definitely recommend. Th enext closest offer was over $1k more expensive.
