The compressor on our old AC went out while we were on vacation, and after talking in circles with our home warranty company, we opted to just replace the unit with a heat pump instead. Ken came out to the house to give me an estimate. He was very patient with all of my questions and explained how everything would work since we are coming off of an oil-filled boiler system. He had a number ready for me in about 15 minutes and fit me into the schedule. The estimate was very reasonable and the turn around time was great.
Today, Tim, James and a crew came out to remove our old unit and install the new heat pump. They were right on time and worked diligently all day to get us up and running. Everyone was very polite and worked well together as a team.
We have been very fortunate that the weather hasn't been super hot, and with the help of a window unit and fans, we have managed to keep comfortable enough. Heading into August though, was going to get rough and J and K really came through for us. We had an estimate from another company that was going to have to put us 4 weeks out, and we would have surely been miserable.
I will recommend this company to anyone looking for any type of HVAC work, hands down!

J&K has been servicing our commercial building in Hampton for 4 years and we have had nothing but exceptional service! Linda, Tim, and the entire team are professional, friendly and great to work with. They are responsive to our calls, even in emergency situations. We operate an event venue, so this is critical for our business. We are so grateful for all of the work they do on a consistent basis. We wouldn't stay afloat (or cool and warm depending on the season) without J&K!

We've had J & K replace both of the aging HVAC systems in our house; one three years ago and one this year. They also ran a new kitchen gas line for us. We've been extremely satisfied with their work with every job. They've been responsive and dependable in all of our interactions, were prompt and on time, and made sure everything worked to our satisfaction prior to leaving. Thanks for all your hard work!

Today Tim, Aaron and James installed the second heat pump in as many days.

Today when the temps in the attic were horrible at best.

These three were absolutely professional and courteous through it all.

I will update this following the installation next week but I interviewed five companies to replace my heat pumps and J&K were hands down the most responsive and professional of the group. Tim provided the inspection, Ken talked with me a couple times to make sure I had all the specs I needed and Linda was just outstanding taking about scheduling. I was especially impressed when Linda mentioned that she knew it was a large purchase and even if we went somewhere else she wished us luck in the process. My research showed the product they are selling is top rated and their price was the best I found comparing apples to apples. I
Will update this next week after the install. So far they have my highest recommendation.

I live in Hampton and contacted J&K Heating and Cooling during the off season because my unit was leaking coolant each year and I wanted it fixed. I had been told by a prior company that I was looking at needing to potentially replace the unit ~$10k so I put it off. When we decided to get some quotes J&K quickly determined I had a leaky coil. They gave me an estimate and first attempted to see if it was under warranty so I wouldn’t have to come out of pocket. They charged me a much much lower price and also installed a filter cover for free because I was apparently lacking one in my unit. They informed me the unit should run fine but they recommended that I had them come back out in warm weather to test it again. They just did the follow up work and everything is reading perfectly. I am very satisfied and would use them again. Thanks J&K you have my recommendation!

I don't usually take time to leave long reviews but these guys were knowledgeable, professional, and great to chat with! We will be using them for our gas and HVAC needs from here on out!

We received quotes from other places that were more costly for lower quality work. When we spoke with J&K Heating it was immediately clear that the other places were trying to sell us on parts and materials that we didn't need and that J&K Heating was going to be able to give us the in-wall installation we needed.

And bonus?? I asked our service tech James a simple question about gas fireplaces. He gave me great advice, took extra minutes from his personal time to make a small adjustment to the heating rod in our fireplace. He left us a small piece of material for further adjustments and our fireplace works perfectly now!

Wanted to convey our greatest thanks to J&K Heating and Cooling for fixing our home air conditioning system! James was the best technician someone could hope for! James was extremely knowledgeable, talented, courteous, and patient. James took the time to explain the system, what was not operating correctly, and what needed to be fixed in order to get the system back on track. After having a number of quotes and estimates from other companies, we decided to go with J&K to replace and install our HVAC and all our ductwork. That was back in 2011 and we’ve never regretted our decision. J&K has always given us friendly and helpful service for the last 12 yrs. I highly recommend them for all your heating and cooling needs.

Ken came over and gave us a very good quote on replacing our 20+ year old water heater, and then Tim came and did a very professional installation in a timely manner. This was our first time using J & K but definitely won't be the last!

Wouldn't even give this company one star, but you have to just to write the review. 10/10 don't do business with this company. Jon will collect payment from your for the job and never pay the employees for their work or pay their health insurance either.

I can recommend Jon and crew. They did a great job at my parent's house and lived up to my recommendation to them. A+

Company truck with Georgia plate SEZ9794 on warwick can't stay in their lane, riding people's bumpers and going at least 45-50 in a 25. Drive safer!

I was trying to give my business to a local company. But this is just ridiculous. No hot water for 4 weeks. Timeline:
1. Contacted Jon
2. Came out almost a week later to access on Thursday $395 to clean it, repairs additional
3. Need to order cleaning materials. Will call you Monday and be out next week
4. 13 days later - business phone disconnected, not responding to text messages.
5. Hired someone else - they’ll be out less than 6 hours. $59 to look at it. Flat rate fee to repair.
Can I just say this is insane. No hot water for 4 weeks and you can’t be bothered to talk to your customer?

Jon and his crew were amazing! Started with a great quote and a timeline of when work would begin. His crew arrived on time and worked until the job was completed. Had questions the next day, came back by after a job to assist me. He also checked up about a week later to make sure all was ok. I would hire nobody else!
