Extreme Climates should be the top of your list for HVAC needs. They installed the system in my new house and did an excellent job. The installers were professional and one of the most reliable trades during the build. Since moving in, we've had to call twice for minor issues that were fixed quickly by Jim. Both times Extreme Climates responded quickly and Jim diagnosed the issue within minutes. He was also patient with my talkative 4 year old while trying to check out our system. Extreme Climates not only installs quality and reliable brands, but they hire great people!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I do business with honest people that keep their word and back their work. This is 100% that company. I have over 24 years in the military and believe that good pay for good work that can be done with a handshake is how it should be. Extreme Climates does this. I had 2 A/C units, my furnace, and a tankless water heater installed. It was FLAWLESS and extremely well done. Everything works perfectly and the price was very fair for the systems purchased. Key to big systems is the quality of the installation, can't go wrong here. It was on time, well done, and they checked their work. If you have HVAC work to be done, go with this company. Amazing owner, amazing installers, and they do what they say without the games of trying to sell you more than you need. Would gladly give then 6 stars.

On August 15th, I contacted the company to repair the air conditioner in my home, which was installed by this company. The air conditioner can start, but it stops after starting. Someone came in in two days. Repair personnel tried after said there is no lack of freon, is an original is broken, to go to the manufacturer to decide. It was high summer, and the room was very hot. Two days later, the company called me and said that if I didn't go to the insurance company, it would cost $12 thousand quickly. I said we should take insurance. After two days, the repair staff came to tell me that it would take a month to get the parts from the manufacturer. I think I can save some money, just wait a month. A month later. It came on September 20, it was autumn and no refrigeration. Repair is done, charge us $1,200. The repairman said he added 8 pounds of Freon and 1 pound of freon for $100. Labor costs $400. I said my son was a soldier. Can you get a discount? And ended up with a $60 discount. I feel very dissatisfied, a month and a half of my home can not use air conditioning, I have the warranty of air conditioning equipment, and finally spend more than 1,000 dollars.

On 25 July 2022, I contacted this company to come out and fix my HVAC system. The dispatcher was proactive in telling me that there would be a $130 charge just for coming out (this charge is not offset by having your system fixed). The technician was here for approximately 1.5 hours, came in and said the system needed freon. I agreed, telling him to do whatever he needed to in order to fix the problem. I gave the system 24 hours to cool down the house. It never did. I contacted the company and informed them that the problem wasn't fixed. The technician from the company informed me the work wasn't "under warranty" and if I want them to come out and fix the problem I will have to pay them more. And if I was unhappy they didn't want my business anyway.

This warning is for people who may need to have their HVAC systems repaired but are unfamiliar with this company. I highly doubt they have repeat business. I hope this reaches someone before they make the same mistake I did.

I went through my home appliance warranty company for repair of my upstairs HVAC unit. After nearly a month of getting the run around with “their” contracted repair people, I was finally authorized to pick my own contractor. I contracted Extreme Climates and they sent a technician out quickly (Jim C), who diagnosed my issue and as soon as the home warranty approved the repair, he ordered the parts and had my HVAC up and running. He also told me about their maintenance plan. I am very impressed with Extreme Climate’s professionalism and expertise. They’ve definitely got my business from now on!!!

EC has been extremely responsive to our HVAC issues and resolved them quickly. The techs are very courteous & knowledgeable. Strongly recommend their annual maintenance contract to keep your system at it's peak efficiency.

Many experiences over the years and all have been excellent. They serviced my old system and installed the new ; while servicing twice a year for seasonal maintenance. Recently had a lightning strike that caused issues and the diagnosised the problem and correct it promptly. Would recommend to anyone that needs climate control in their home or business.

Used them many times. Always prompt, to the point and honest.
Technician came out once, problem started again, it was superbowl Sunday and the tech came out again, no excuses, fixed the problem.

Had issues with our other system installed by another company, tech advised us to call the original company so it would be covered under warranty at no charge to us. Didn't charge us trip charge either.
When the original install company tech came out, I got a call from the owner who whined about not calling them first and then tried to charge us $100+ 'administrative charge'.

Fantastic company and service. They came out to service my HVAC unit in Poquoson. They were prompt, professional and i didn't feel like someone was trying to up sale me on things. He showed me exactly what was wrong and explained it to me clearly.
They even verified my unit was still under warranty and their price on labor was extremely reasonable. I plan to setup a maintenance plan with them starting in the spring.

Glad to have found a company I can feel good in trusting.

Came home to find geothermal HVAC was down to 60 @ 430pm and snow storm coming. Called my contracted company and said they couldn’t come for three days - fired!
Called 5 companies to find geothermal experts and Extreme called back in 10min and was here in less than an hour. Technician John Small was exceptionally knowledgeable about the system, diagnosed the problem and got us running. Was a pleasure to work with and very reasonable rates - my new go to company.

We have been using Extreme Climates for our regular maintenance for over 10 years and they have always taken great care of our HVAC. Recently with the high temps our system was struggling and they had a technician out with in 2 hours of calling and had our system back up and running! Highly recommend!

My HVAC system needed to be replaced, and Extreme Climates came out the very next day to do so. The technicians were terrific, worked extremely hard, and did a great job. In fact, the owner himself called me after the job was completed and went over and above to ensure we were satisfied. They not only met our expectations, but they went over and above, which is a rare thing these days. I would highly recommend them for any work you may need for your heating and AC needs.

We have been with Extreme Climates since 2002. We have been highly satisfied with their service and the two technicians (Jim & Josh) throughout the 23 years. Today I asked for a service call on my air conditioner which was making odd sounds.
Amanda in the front office was courteous and immediately booked me for an afternoon appointment. Josh arrived at 1:45 for the 2 pm appointment. Wonderful. Josh listened to the unit and diagnosed it within seconds - a fan motor starting to wear out. He confirmed it with his own test. Bypassing the compressor then starting it. The AC unit continued the sounds confirming it was the fan motor. Now the best part. He located a replacement motor but explained four options open to me. I thanked him and took his advice. I'll run it for the next 45 days. Then it will be Fall and then Winter -- no need for AC until about April or May. Then he gave me three other options -- install the new brake motor next summer. Another option replace the 23 year old unit. Replacement would provide a more efficient unit, more modern and more energy efficient -- cost would be up front but the more efficient unit would save $$ on my power bill each month. So Josh was very informative. He listed options. He diagnosed immediately and.... he didn't pressure me to just give up and buy a new AC unit. NOW that is true support. Excellent on multiple matters.

We have been a customer for several years and have always received excellent service. Recently we had a "gas leak" problem and had to have our gas shut off. EC worked with us patiently through all the hoops and problems in getting the gas turned back on. Every time I called, I was greeted with a friendly and accommodating voice, even though I am sure I was bugging them about solutions! Once the gas was back on, they were quick to find a Great technician to come out immediately and reconnect everything! I can't say enough good things about them!!

Have to say I was very happy with Extreme Climates, they told me they would be there that Friday and sure enough they showed up that Friday morning, they techs were polite and explained everything to me afterwards they put down drop cloths on the floors, after they finished they cleaned up the area, the only way you knew they had been there was the new unit setting outside. Great work Gentlemen.

Extreme Climates put in a new drain line on my heating unit. The line would freeze in frigid temperatures and needed to be re-worked to go through my garage. Nolan and his assistant came out and ran a new line, they insulated it and were so kind and helpful. The new line works wonderful and they have been understanding and accommodating to my needs throughout the process. Great job taking care of your clients!

Bud's has highly trained technicians. Austin is one of their top notch technicians. They are always very responsive when we need them.

First time using Bud's and I was very impressed with the ease of the office taking my information and getting me scheduled for my hot water heater replacement.
The technician Eric H. was courteous and very patient in the location he had to work. He was very knowledgeable about his job and explained what he was doing to complete the job. He was friendly and cleaned up after completing the installation.
I will be using Bud's in the future.
