City Energy Systems originally came over to fix our 20-year-old furnace a couple of times. The last time they told me the main heater unit was shot and it would be cheaper to replace the whole furnace now rather than piece by piece. They gave me quotes with various options for the excellent Trane furnaces they carry. These quotes compared well with prices listed for similar models of other brands and installers.
This was in early 2025 near the end of the cold season. So we toughed it out until September so we could save up for a new furnace. When we were ready to buy, they honored the quote they gave us 6 months earlier! In this time of ever-rising prices!
The new more efficient furnace and compatible thermostat were installed, and a subcontractor was brought in to thoroughly clean out the ducts throughout the house. He worked extra hard to clean the coils where the existing home air conditioner unit attached to the furnace. All this took only about 4 or 5 hours. Everyone was friendly and did excellent work. All ducts were reattached and well sealed. The old furnace and all debris were removed and the work area was cleaned up.
The new Trane furnace has been running perfectly ever since--a blessing in this cold weather. I highly recommend City Energy Systems for all your furnace work. Excellent products and guarantees, fair prices, excellent and thorough work, and integrity--keeping their promises, even honoring a 6-month-old quote.

We ordered a new AC unit from City. We were referred by family members who gave the company high marks. The installation process was excellent, the product is great, and the follow-up was excellent. Russ has kept our Trane heat pump in tip top shape for the past five years. His annual service checkup is very thorough and reasonably priced. When our 10 year old heat pump suddenly stopped working a couple weeks ago, he came out and diagnosed the problem within a day. He also installed a software upgrade on the thermostat and performed an annual service checkup while he was here, saving us the cost of scheduling one separately. City Energy Systems has never pushed an expensive annual “premium service” contract like all the major heating companies seem to do these days. They provide straightforward, honest, knowledgeable service.

These guys are phenomenal, I had a seamless install of a gas furnace and A/C unit. Tom is very knowledgeable about HVAC and he never made me feel like I was being sold something I didn’t need! The crew he sent out got the job done in a timely manner and they too were very professional. I’ll be using City Energy for all my HVAC and plumbing needs for the rest of my time here. I highly recommend this organization!

I am alone and City Energy has a yearly maintenance that gives me peace of mind. When I call for an occasional odd issue I am treated well and called back usually promptly. Russ cleans all my filters checks everything inside and outside and I am confident if I have any other dumb questions I will get a response. I asked this time when I got the new furnace/heat pump and I was told 2021, So I expect great continued service.

Russ of City Energy Systems is a skilled technician who is always on time for an appointment, lets me know if there are issues with my HVAC or if there is something Russ will need to keep an eye on. I like that he reminds me of yearly maintence. There have been a few times when there was an emergency and City Energy Systems was very responsive. My experience has been one of excellent customer service performed by a pro.

From installation through the last service we have received nothing true professional service. The installation crew was a group of consumate professionals. They worked like a well oiled machine. I would recommend then every time.

We recently remodeled our house and City Energy Systems was the HVAC subcontractor. We thought there was an issue with the heating (User error actually) but the service we received from Anthony and Todd at City Energy Systems was exceptional and effective. The technician was exceptional.
He did a thorough cleaning, as well as checking the system electronically and fluids wise.
Prior to this service, I had 6 other HVAC companies come by to give us a bid for a new system. City Energy Systems was the only one that I felt was totally honest and I felt I could trust. They are straight shooters. I only call them for all my HVAC needs.

Paul and his team did a great job quickly installing a new furnace at our house. They answered all my questions, gave me a great price, and didn't try to upsell me (even advising me against going for a larger furnace based on my heating needs, which as a first-time homeowner just learning about this I greatly appreciated). I will happily work with them again for all our future heating and cooling needs.
