Whenever I need drain cleaning I call Walt. I am glad to say I have recommended him often with good results. He knows what he is doing. Thanks Walt for being who you are.

Would never hire again. Very rude, remained on the phone the duration of the visit didn’t even bother to say hello or anything. When trying to talk to him he said to the person on the phone “I need to hang up these people are yapping in my ear” Did not remove his boots and tracked dirt through the entire house. I gave him a trash bag for the toilet so it would not drip on the floors, which he didn’t use and dripped toilet water all over our carpet and down the stairs. Doesn’t communicate well at all.

Walt is very knowledgeable. There was no scheduling BS and jacking up the rate after visit etc. From calling him first till the issue fixed and operational it was 1.5 hrs only can you believe. Will call him again in future. Hint: Just don't get in his way, ask unnecessary questions and waste time.

Hired Walt a year ago...now...you are going to read people's reviews that give him 1 star...and at first? I have to say I was probably in their same boat....initially when I called he sort of yelled into the phone and then hung up on me....but I called back!! He said he was on an assignment and would call back and again just disconnected the phone....ok....so I waited and about an hour later, when he got done with the job he called me from his truck....he is a one man shop doesn't have overhead and people answering his phones...so if you can handle a little gruffiness.....once he arrived....he was very personable. He's not a big talker--he wants to get to the job and get paid and get out. He saved us a LOT of money by talking us through some issues we were having and showing us some things to do then and to help rectify problems in the future....his rates were very reasonable and fair. He's older and busy and he probably really doesn't "need" the work....but you WANT HIM because he IS old and he knows his stuff (the plumbing business) and the ins and outs of what to do instead of just pulling something off and go getting a whole new thing...he knows how to repair and to locate where the issue actually is..... so, if you can put up with a little gruffiness on the phone? I highly recommend him. EXPECT that he will probably answer the phone/shout into it " I'm busy!" (because he's under a sink at my house) but his phone has your number in it....and he will call you back!! honest.

I hired Walt' Plumbing for three different plumbing issues in my home here in Bellevue . I am calling him today to schedule another repair due to my neighbors above me in my condo leaking water into my main bathroom.He comes in analizes the problem and gets to work on it fast. He's not going to talk your ear off he just gets down to business and moves on to his next call. He has does a great job and is honest with a good work ethic. Open 7 days a week usually makes it out same day or next day when you call. Honest and reasonable rates. I highly recommend Walt's Plumbing.

NOT RECOMMENDED: Beware of Walt's Plumbing : UNSAFE. The plumber (Walt?) showed up at my door without being properly masked. When I asked him to cover his nose, he responded that he then would not be able to see. When I insisted, he basically just walked out the door and got verbally abusive.

It's important for both of us to ensure our mutual safety. I did my part; he didn't do his.

Do NOT support this behavior on the part of vendors. STAY SAFE

Been using Walt for about 25 years both personally and my husband who’s been in the real estate business has used him numerous times. The guy is a straight shooter, knows what he’s doing, reasonable rates. We have been very happy with Walt.

Walt showed up fast, and didn't charge us for an emergency on a Sunday. He got the job done and was on his way. No fuss, no muss and a reasonable rate, unlike almost every other plumber in the greater Seattle/Bellevue area. We highly recommend and plan on using Walt for any future plumbing needs.

I have had Walt out to do a number of fixes, toilets, re-circulating water pump, repair of the water heater, plugged toilets, etc. He is prompt, considerate, reasonably priced and you can count on him to fix your problem correctly.

Over the past couple years, Walt has unclogged toilets, drains, and pipes for me. He is quick and super-capable and very reasonably priced. Before finding him on NextDoor, I was using a retainer plumbing service, but they had a long lead time before they could come around. Forget it! Walt was there within a day.

I need to replace the kitchen faucet. Walt came on time and finished the job quickly. He tested it throughly, charged me probably half of what Fox plumbing.

Highly recommend him for the service, probably not as friendly as Fox plumbing. But fox plumbing always jack up the price while smiling at you.

I can't speak highly enough about Walt's Plumbing. He was helpful on the phone, came out when he said he would, fixed the issue and told me I didn't need to install the new fixture I had purchased. No sticker shock which was refreshing. I would give this business 10 stars and recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality, no bs, old school plumber. THANK YOU!

Great plumber. So honest and excellent with what he does. Transparent pricing. Cannot be happier.

Sure Walt may not be a sweet talker. But we are reviewing a GREAT plumber here.

Two data points to share:

1. He replaced a T shaped section of copper pipes for me that was leaking in the crawl space in 1.25 hours total. Excellent quality.

2. He turned down additional jobs from me I order to get to another appointment on time.

I think I have found my go to plumber.

Walt is just great at his job with lots of knowledge and experiences.

I had him fixed my running toilets and replaced my leaked garbage disposal. The work was done fast and nicely both timed and the price are just very reasonable (I might consider it low these days with plumbers).

Highly recommend and will call Walt again if I run into any plumbing issues (hopefully not!)

I am recommending Walt's service to anyone who are looking for a reasonable price and excellent service. I asked him to install a PRV.
He came and said he can do it. He told me the total cost and how he would do. I cannot 100% understand what he is talking about on the service, but I can tell he knows how to do it correctly. My dad knows some plumbing work, and he says Walt's work is very professional and nice. Also, we ask him to repair our backyard leaking faucet. He fixed it in a very efficient and economic way, and he did not charge us for any small parts he used. Also, Walt's price is very very reasonable and affordable, compared to the price I was offered from another plumber company. I am happy I choose the correct technician to help us.

Called many times, a plumber picked up, blurred on the phone saying $89 is what was advertised for unclogging and quickly hang up before I could speak. Didn’t understand all he blurred so I called again asking him to speak a little slower and if there is another number I can call to schedule a job. Every time, he told me he is at a job and blamed me for not understanding what he said and hang up before I could speak. The last time when he picked up, I asked him “whom I should call to schedule a job?” He replied “I told you I am busy and had no time” and hang up on me. He may be technically good, but definitely not the way he treat a potential customer!

You will not find a more efficient, honest down to earth plumber than those At Walt's. They came out and did a job, under an hour, for a couple hundred bucks. Beacon Plumbing quoted $4800 only an hour earlier, probably spent as much time writing up the quote as Walt spent doing the work. I just needed a shower valve serviced. The wall was wide open, all the pipes were present. Easiest thing you could do.

Walt came to help me TWICE with a broken water line to the house. I followed his good advice the 2nd time. All good since then.

Farid has been a phenomenal asset to our company. He always arrives promptly, and has a professional, friendly attitude. He thoroughly explains the problem and possible solutions before performing the service to make sure we have a full understanding and are comfortable moving forward. I can not recommend his services enough!!!! Thank you Farid.

Farid and team are great. We've used them a few times for various fixes to our new house, and they've been responsive, courteous, efficient, and most importantly, trustworthy. We've had to install a new sink and water heater, fix pipes in crawlspace, and find irrigation valves for our sprinkler system and haven't had an issue. Farid even came out on a weekend when he was off the clock to diagnose a problem, and when he wasn't able to fix it until he got parts the next day, refused payment for his time on his off day because he didn't fix the problem. Pretty incredible example of great customer service. I highly recommend.

We have been very happy when using Washington Rooter. We have multiple tenants and have dealt with two backed up kitchen sinks and both times we were very pleased with the outcome when using Washington Rooter. They were able to come out quickly and get the job done in a timely and professional manner. Highly recommended!
