I had a crack in the tank of my toilet… not sure what happened but it needed a quick repair. I called Beacon Plumbing and got Robert and Bobby to come fix the issue in a quick and professional manner. They were able to show up within a few hours and they fixed the toilet within an hour. I hope I don’t have another plumbing issue soon, but if I do- Beacon did a great job! They even helped bring a heavy toilet upstairs and took the broken one out for me. Highly recommend.

Wow. I don’t think I’ve ever been this disappointed with a company.
I originally called because my septic tank was overflowing and I needed someone to inspect it. When I called, they told me there would be a $75 service fee for the inspection. However, when the technician arrived, he quoted me $681 just to open the tank and inspect it. He explained that if something was simply stuck, that $681 would cover fixing it, but if the pump needed to be replaced, the cost would be $2,750.

I was confused because I thought the $75 fee covered the inspection, and it didn’t make sense to pay $681 just to find out whether it needed replacement. The plumber ended up leaving and told my mom (who lives at the home) that he would send someone else out leading us to believe he didn’t have the experience to complete the job.

Then a second plumber called saying he could come out. When he arrived, he quoted $781 for the exact same service. When I questioned the price difference, he changed it back to $681. Because I was desperate for answers, I reluctantly agreed to let them begin.

After investigating, they told me the entire pump needed to be replaced and quoted the same $2,750. Since I couldn’t pay that, I asked for detailed notes so I could get other estimates. Within just a few calls, I found another plumber who inspected the issue and replaced the septic pump for $1,400 total—less than half of Beacon’s quote.

So yes, I paid Beacon $681 for absolutely no value in return. I genuinely feel taken advantage of. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had, and it’s clear their priority is profit, not “bringing peace to your home,” like they claim. They left me worse off, stressed, frustrated, and $681 poorer.

I strongly recommend calling other plumbers before calling Beacon. You will save yourself hundreds of dollars and a lot of frustration.

Nobody ever wants to deal with a plumbing emergency, but Rodney and Mike took care of our issue quickly and professionally. Everything looks great and they helped us understand the payment options available so it's not overwhelming. Thanks guys!

Anthony was the overall manager of my sewer installation and he went over and beyond in assuring that everything was done correctly and trying to find ways to reduce the cost. My sewer installation was one of the most difficult he has ever done. He did a fantastic job and I was lucky to have him overseeing the entire project! I would definitely recommend Beacon Plumbing for sewer installations.

I just want to say, the two service technicians who came out were amazing, David and Browne. They were so sweet and came out over two hours the night before Christmas Eve. Beacon however, I’m disappointed with. I double checked and was worried that they were coming from such a long distance. Beacon told me that it was still a 75 dollar service charge no matter what and that was not the case. This review is for the amazing plumbers who drove over two hours and helped me out! David deserves a raise!

Tony and Vickor were absolutely awesome. Super professional and efficient.
We had a duct come off of its vent because the supports that held it in place broke. They fixed the issue and the cause of the problem. We had them go ahead and do all of the ducts so this wouldn't happen again.
This is not the 1st time we have used Beacon, and won't be the last. Thank you so much!

Tony and Victor did an amazing job! They installed my new furnace quickly and took the time to walk me through the whole process. They were super helpful and I would for sure use them anytime!

Rick and Kyle were really professional and informative. They explained their solution fix and techniques to me so I could understand the process. They also helped me with the terms and conditions of the legal documentation so I would be fully aware of the protections of their work. Excellent company.

I had a great experience working with Beacon Plumbing — specifically Zadrian, who handled both a toilet and shower issue at my property. He was on time, professional, and easy to communicate with. He explained everything clearly, did clean, efficient work, and made sure everything was functioning perfectly before wrapping up.

I’ve worked with a lot of contractors over the years, and Beacon continues to stand out for their reliability and professionalism. Highly recommend Zadrian and the Beacon team for any plumbing work — top notch service start to finish.

I called in a sub-pump overflow alarm repair and Beacon had a two-man team at my house within 2hrs, repaired within 3hrs. Mike Henry and Rodney Philips were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Outstanding customer service and attention to detail in resolving my issue. I would absolutely recommend them for any plumbing issues.

We had an emergency leak in the crawl space and called Beacon Plumbing. Brent and Isaiah came out and quickly figured out the source of the leak. They went to work right away and got it fixed and our water is back on. I couldn't be more pleased and will highly recommend them to and my friends and family!

Josh and Ben came out and assessed our current boiler heating system. We had an audible alarm triggered and determined to be a faulty element. Josh presented all our options (3 of them) which was repair (bandaid), partial rebuild and complete system overhaul. We weighed the costs vs. long term costs and opted to replace system with new boiler/tankless combo unit. Yes, the price was more but having all the information presented, we could see where we will save on the long run. They came back next day and was able to complete the install and it was very clean! We are very happy with their service! Thank you.

Today was a bit of fiasco but everyone is okay. Let me start out saying in the decade I have been fostering this is a first. At about 6 am this morning both kittens decided a great hiding spot would be in the air vents in the kitten room. They went into the vents under the floor. Luckily the room is on the second floor so getting to them involved cutting into the ceiling on the ground floor and the overhang outside to open both sides of the vent. Fishing them out first involved pushing them forward toward the opening inside the house. Then I shined a light and sweet talked them. I stood on a ladder, talking to them, until I got some slow blinking. The first one was Koda and I could see he was tired. He let me scruff him and put him in the waiting carrier. StellaLuna was a bit trickier. She kept backing up farther away from me. Tony had to push her forward a bit more so I could pet her face a bit and scruff her quickly.

It was a long process of trial and error and I’m so thankful to Beacon Plumbing. Tony and Victor were lifesavers today. They really thought outside the box and put together a solution that did minimal damage to the house. They were so patient and considerate of how to proceed for the best outcome for the kittens.

Jesus came out with a partner within 90 minutes of me calling. He was kind and patiently explained the problem in addition to the possible solutions. He had to cut a hole in our wall to fix a broken pipe and kept me informed throughout the entire process. They took extra repercussions in order to keep the work area clean. Then they cleaned up and vacuumed when the job was completed. I was disappointed that they were not planning on repairing the hole (they did plan to replace the sheet rock)completely when they were done but it worked out because we needed restoration done because of the damage the water leaked caused. Before they left they connected me with a restoration company and made sure the company was on their way out to my house before Jesus and his partner left. The restoration company arrived within 30 minutes of Jesus leaving and started the restoration process immediately. This was all done after the typical plumber work hours are done without additional charge.

Brom and Dee came out exactly during the prescribed time window. They conducted themselves professionally. Explained immediate issues and less pressing issues. Was a quick tune up of the furnace, got our home warm again quickly!

We are very impressed with Beacon! They were very fast, friendly, and professional. Yes, it cost us a pretty penny to get our problem resolved, but we find it more than worth it for the amazing service we received.
    • Saturday morning, our only toilet was clogged, we couldn’t clear it, and we also noticed water backing up in our shower.
    • We called a couple of plumbers, and none could come the same day. Then we called Beacon, they said they could get someone out to us in the afternoon, and then 45 mins later, James called saying he’s on his way, early!
    • When they arrived, they were courteous and even took their shoes off when coming into the house. They did some testing outside and determined that our house’s 80-year-old main sewer line had breaks and needed to be replaced. Meaning we couldn’t use our plumbing until it was repaired.
    • James called 811 to come out to find our gas pipes, and another Beacon employee with a small backhoe to come dig once they got the OK. Very impressed that they have this backhoe driver on call and available to be dispatched on a Saturday.
    • After several hours, they patched it to the point that we didn’t have to get a hotel, and we could use our plumbing, all in the same day!
    • They offered to continue the work on Sunday, with James even offering to give his personal cell number just in case anything happened on his day off. We graciously declined as we could wait until Monday.
    • The remaining work went smoothly, and by the following Friday, everything was fixed, buried, and passed inspection. During that time, we received consistent updates from James at all stages of the work.
I see many reviews complaining about the price, but based on our experience, it was worth every penny. Our new sewer line will essentially last well past our lifetime. A plumber’s apprenticeship can last up to 5 years; they have to pass extensive exams through the state, and each plumber must carry a valid L&I card, which also includes required continued education every few years to keep it valid. They work in the dirt, dark, cold/heat, and deal with sewage! Not to mention the price of carrying insurance and bond requirements.
Shout out to James, thank you so much for this great contractor experience!

Rick and Kyle came to fix my running toilet and found it needed to be replaced. They had all the necessary equipment and parts with them, which was very convenient. They were very thorough, informative and professional, and especially appreciated the care they took of my home by wearing shoe covers and using protective rugs. I have used Beacon in the past and have always had a great experience, I will continue to use them in the future and recommend them to others!

Tony and Victor came out immediately when our furnace went out and replaced it within 24 hours. Their professionalism, hard work and easy manner gave us great comfort. I would highly recommend them.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company from start to finish. The plumbing work was not completed properly, and issues that were supposed to be resolved are still ongoing. On top of that, I was overcharged for work that was either unfinished or poorly done. The most frustrating part was the lack of honesty and accountability. Communication was terrible, and customer service was dismissive and unhelpful when I tried to get answers or resolution. I expected professionalism and transparency and received neither. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Taylor was very professional and helpful. I have 0 knowledge about electrical whatsoever and she was very detailed and explained everything thoroughly.
Unfortunately the company seems to price gouge A LOT. They were right about our panel being replaced but what they were charging to do it was crazy. The service we are working with has an owner that worked for DEAR and his inside knowledge made clear the money making tactics we witnessed.
We will be steering clear of DEAR from now on and hopefully the reviews catch up with them and require them to be more honest.
