Just had someone out to do an estimate on replacing the pump on the well on my recently purchased property. I had been told by the inspector that it needed to be replaced and the inspector quoted me the price he would charge for the job. Looking to get other estimates, I called this company. A man came out (I forgot his name unfortunately) and he was extremely helpful, explaining how the entire system works and what I should watch for. He suggested that we do not need to replace the pump right now, and estimated a much lower price than my inspector for what it would cost to do it in the future. I really appreciated that this plumber did not try to upsell me or scare me into paying for something I might not need to. If and when I have problems with the well pump in the future, I will definitely be using this company!

Brian Sanchez did an awesome job for us today. We had a home inspection done and a small leak was found under our tub pea trap. Brian found the source of the leak was the overflow in the tub being loose and fixed it quickly and professionaly. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I would recomnend using Yelm Plumbing and Pump for all of your plumbing needs! Thank you Brian for your help today.

I want to say that. This is one of the best crew's that fixed my water problems and helped me out so much. I just can't say enough about these plumber's. This company has done a great job and gone beyond any Plumbing shop I have ever had a pleasure meeting and working with and for my problems. Thank you guys and thank you Yelm Plumbing so much for your hard work and great job you preformed for me and my house. Thank you much Michael Black.

I detest hyperbolic negative reviews, so I will simply state the facts. My water pressure had been getting worse over time, and was down to almost nothing. I called Yelm Plumbing because they’re local and they only charge $39 to come out and give an estimate, while most other companies charge between $150-225 or even $80 an hour for the same thing. The guy who came out was very professional, but basically did nothing except look at the pressure gauge, have me turn the breaker off and back on, note that the pressure fell when it was turned off, shake the tank and tell me it was empty and should be full, and go out back and look at the well cap. Then he told me my pump was running constantly (which I knew), the pump propellers were likely worn out, and that I needed a whole new system. He said the tank was probably ok, but I should replace it anyway because it was as old as the pump. Then he showed me an iPad with a very confusing estimate with different rates for “standard” or ”preferred”, which I took to mean I was supposedly getting some kind of break. The estimate was around $6600. Having heard pumps can cost up to $10k to replace, I thought that was at least better, though I still had no way to afford it. He said they do offer financing, and let me take a photo of his phone showing a picture of a phone number and some codes and other (again very confusing) info. He said to call that number and they would help me.

I asked a friend for advice, and he said I should at least get some other estimates. Thank goodness I did! I called around to other places in the area, asking what they would charge for the same work. Most ranged from $3500 to $3800. Still out of reach, but almost half what Yelm Plumbing was asking. But they couldn’t come out for five days, and I was totally without water at this point.

Finally I found a company that would come out that same day and do an estimate for $65. When he got there, he removed the control panel, tried a new one, checked all the wires for voltage, checked the connections in the pressure switch, checked the tank (which is SUPPOSED to be empty), took the cap off the well, pulled up the wires, checked those, and reached down to feel the pipe. After this thorough inspection, he gave me a clearly written estimate for a new Goulds pump, new pipe, new controller, and new pressure switch. The tank he said was fine, why replace it if it’s still working? Total estimate, $1600.

They came out the next day and did the work. It turned out the top of my pump had snapped completely off due to torque. They replaced it and the other parts, and two hours later, I had water again. I watched the entire process, and they did a very efficient and professional job. In the end, my total was $1462, well under the estimate. So they saved me more than $5000 compared to Yelm Plumbing.

Yelm Plumbing may do great work, I don’t know. But if you’re trying to save money, please don’t be drawn in like I was by the $39 service fee or the fact that they offer financing. At least call around and get other estimates. They seem to be one of the most expensive in the area, and they didn’t even do a thorough inspection. I had the same work done, at very good quality, for less than a quarter of what Yelm Plumbing charges. No matter how much better they might claim they are, they cannot justify charging $5000 more for the same work. Please do your research!

Yelm Plumbing & Pumps (formerly A+ Services). New business name, but at same location as A+ Services. Are they any different? Please beware. A+ Services had poor reviews on Google. Below is my review of A+ Services posted on Oct 2014:
Beware, beware, beware...4x over-priced and shoddy work that creates repeat failures. Find a local plumber instead. See my detailed story below.

Oct 2010 A+ Services was called to repair water leak between my water meter and home. It was a fountain in the middle of my yard so I was desperate and called A+ Services since they were close by my home. I was looking for quick service and wasn't as concerned about cost at the time. When repair was complete I was charged $1100. Wasn't at all happy about that price tag, but leak was fixed so I moved on, thankful crisis was over. Fast forward to present, Oct 2014. I have another water leak between my water meter and home. Called A+ Services about warranty and they said that only lasts for 1 year. They scheduled me for 12-6pm appointment slot the following day. After waiting at home all day for technician to arrive, they finally arrived at 5:30pm and wanted to do the work the next day. When I asked to them to quote the work, he asked me how much they charged last time...I said $1100. The technician said that sounded about right. He also mentioned things like "Lacey city water is so corrosive these days with all the additives" as possible reason for repeat leak. After hearing outrageous price and BS about corrosive city water (that I drink every day), and fact he wasn't even ready to provide a repair, I told him no thanks. He then proceeded to tell me no one could do it for less and he could waive the call response for me this one time. Still no thanks. Called a local Olympia plumber to perform the repairs. 2 hours later, water leak was repaired for roughly $300 parts and labor. Not only that, but there was serious concerns about A+ Service workmanship on Oct 2010 repair. The cause of my current leak was brass fitting failure from previous repair. The entire fitting had cracked down the side. When Olympia plumber took it apart he pointed out that there was way too much teflon tape applied (6-7x wraps around the pipe), which was too tight on a brass fitting and why it eventually cracked under constant strain. So not only was previous service nearly 4x more costly, but repair was shoddy. I don't know if they did it on purpose (create repeat business) or just didn't know what they were doing (I didn't check each persons' license...I assumed all were licensed from A+ Services). I hope others can learn from my experience and stay the heck away from A+ Services.

Had a rough start with this company but they immediately called after a miscommunication with a scheduled appointment and apologized. The situation was explained and rectified and Brian came out that day to fix our leak. At this point, I would utilize this company again, they were extremely friendly and punctual. (EDITED* this review was originally written on 8DEC21 as a 1 star review. Initial review was edited to reflect the above statement on 9DEC21).

Today is 15DEC and the problem has only gotten worse, the only problem to be resolved was a leaky faucet. I had inquired about a leaky faucet and a problem with hot water getting to the showers. After one of their plumbers came out to my home FIVE times, we still do not have hot water. They told us it was all the cartridges in the shower and they needed to be fixed. However, after they were changed, there was still no hot water. The plumber then came back and said it was because the restrictor plates were on the cartridges. He removed the restrictors without my permission or written consent and this is a measure to protect kids from being burned. I have a 5 month old and wasn't okay with this. We had to call a different plumber in order for him to put them back on.

I was charged $1,200 for repairing a leaky faucet and servicing a tankless water heater and the only thing I have now is a faucet that doesn't leak and hot water that ONLY works when the sink faucet is running. The amount of water wasted from the plumber after 5 visits negates fixing the leaky faucet.

This problem started on 8DEC and now it's 15DEC, and yet again, after being told that the complaint department would call us today- we received zero communication. I am hopeful at this point to make a final edit of this review and let you know that this business truly righted their wrong- as of now, I am extremely unsure.

Well this plumbing experience could have been a scary one! I have to give credit where credit is due. My situation started out on a Sunday night around 7:00 pm and within an hour Cory arrived. He was professional, respectful and courteous; never annoyed that he was out late for work on a Sunday night. He was very patient and thoroughly explained what the problem could be and explained that the problem could not be resolved that night and he'd have to come back the next day to completely give a full report of the problem. A few days later and after seeking out a couple other plumbing companies it was apparent that "Yelm Plumbing & Pumps LLC" was the company to go with. Cory and Willy arrived and had the job done within 2 days!!! These two men are amazing... always had a good sense of humor but at the same time professional, respectful but understanding that my plumbing situation was indeed somewhat traumatic, inconvenient and uneasy all around for me. They explained what was being done and completed everything in a timely manner. I know you get what you pay for. "QUALITY" is what I received... these two men also gave me piece of mind... I know my plumbing problem is resolved and was done correctly. So a big shot out to Cory & Willy!!!! Thank you for everything!!!!

Waited both of my days off for this company to show up. Both days they arrive after 4pm. Could've told me via a simple call. The first crew broke their equipment and the company said they would send out their "Pro". The second crew finally give me a bid, it's $1300+, for a blocked drain. They wanted to reroute a water line and reconstruct my pipe without even trying to snake it. They may indeed be right, and I'll have to spend that amount, but it won't be because I don't have other professional options that can arrive at a decent time and do more than look at the pipe.

Hi highly recommend Yelm Plumbing. Cory did a great job addressing my home plumbing issues and professionally explained what other plumbing work the home needed. Notably he helped me troubleshoot my water quality issues that were extremely helpful. I will hire him again.

Brian was awesome. He was so caring and professional. He even referred us to other specialist. That showed me he was not in it for the money but quality of care and service. This was my first time using Yelm Plumbing. I am a first time home owner and they will ALWAYS be my go to from now on. Thank you ALL.at Yelm Plumbing and thank you Brian. Big hugs Linda Miller 🤗

I had a leaking, aged water heater that barely allowed for a single warm shower. I had scheduled with another company (frogger), who did not show to install a new water heater. I called around and Yelm plumbing and pumps llc said they could install one, even one I had bought myself. I locally purchased a new water heater and two days later Brian from Yelm plumbing arrived on time with a huge smile and installed the water heater. Brian was very professional and had done a very neat and quick install of the water heater, he was also great to talk to when there was time, he seems a great person in general. We are extremely happy with the service we received and now have plenty of hot water. Thank you Brian and Yelm plumbing!

Our kitchen sink backed up and the sinks in our master bathroom were draining really slowly, so I called Yelm Plumbing and Pumps. They were able to send a plumber out the same day. The company called to let me know when the plumber was on his way. When he arrived he put paper booties over his shoes so he wouldn't track dirt in the house, which I appreciated. He fixed both the kitchen and bathroom sinks and left us with a product to use and put down our drains regularly to avoid the problem in the future (we're on a septic system). The only reason I'm not giving them five stars is because they charge a $79 fee just to show up, and the total bill was nearly $500 for about 20 minutes of work which I thought was outrageous.

We were really impressed with Brian at Yelm Plumbing. Our main septic line had a clog on a Friday evening. Brian not only took care of the clog but pinpointed the location of a warped pipe that had broken. This was our second back up in a year and no cause for concern was found by the other company that had cleared the line. We are grateful Brian helped us clear the line and uncover the problem.

Zach, did a great job replacing the facet connections under the kitchen sink. He installed the new kitchen facet as well. And a new connection from toilet to wall in bathroom. I highly recommend McNeese's Plumbing.

We needed a full replumb on a house we just bought. Zach came out quickly to give an estimate, which was much better than other quotes we received. He had us scheduled within a week and the job completed quicker than expected. Zach kept in constant communication with us throughout the job and replied quickly to questions we've had since finishing. I could not recommend this company more, they are friendly, better than competitively priced and quick to get you on the schedule!

McNeese's Plumbing installed a new exterior hose bib for me, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Zach took the time to evaluate the best route for the water line, explained the options clearly, and recommended the simplest, most cost-effective solution instead of trying to upsell unnecessary work.

The job involved coordinating with my siding contractor for a clean finished appearance on the exterior, and Zach worked with him seamlessly. The final result looks great and was done very professionally.

I also asked him to check my home’s water pressure while he was here, and he took the time to do several readings with different gauges at no extra charge. I also changed the hose bib location, which added pipe to the run, and he still honored the original quote.

It’s refreshing to find a plumber who is honest, skilled, professional, and not sales-driven. I would absolutely call McNeese’s Plumbing again.
