Constraction reviews in Redmond, Washington

Max, and his team (Mikolai and Sergei) did an absolutely amazing job painting our house and installing a new backyard fence. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and their attention to detail was truly impeccable—you can tell they take real pride in their work. Everything turned out beautifully, and the whole experience was smooth and professional from start to finish. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-quality craftsmanship and a team you can trust!

Nice guy, very professional, job was done perfectly and fast, definitely recommend everyone. Also great price for such nice work.

We hired MKZ Construction for painting, framing and drywall work, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, their communication was excellent, keeping us informed every step of the way. They were always on time, worked hard to get the job done efficiently, and paid great attention to detail. The quality of their work is outstanding, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. Easy to work with and truly dedicated to delivering top-notch results. Highly recommend!

Maksim and his team did an amazing job on the painting trims, window shutters and garage door in my house! He’s professional and knows what he’s doing, punctual and responsible for his team and his work! Will definitely hire him again.

They are so professional and timely. My husband and I are so I impressed with the way our project turned out. Stunning! We had them replace old trim with new on baseboards and around doors. We had our door jams repainted also. All wood work in windows sanded and painted. Ceilings and walls repainted. This was our first big renovation in our upstairs and I was so nervous but I trusted their process and I’ll never go with another painter! Highly recommend.

MKZ did the refresh of our deck and balcony. It was easy to communicate with Maxim, get the right pricing and advice. They were always on time, did excellent job sanding and then repainting the surfaces and made sure it was clean when they left. Highly recommend them for your construction type of projects.

We hired MKZ Construction to paint the interior of our 2000 sq ft townhouse. MKZ Construction was referred to us by our friend. Seeing their excellent work first hand, we knew who to call for our painting needs.
First, we met Max at the house to discuss our ideas and then he provided the detailed estimate and schedule. Max and his team painted the trim, doors, ceilings and walls. They also replaced some old trim and installed the new doors. We were very impressed with their prep work and their efficient painting. They arrived on time and completed the work on schedule.
We are completely satisfied with the results and highly recommend MKZ Construction to others.

It was great working with the guys! Maksim and Nikolai know the the craft very well. They were very clear on expectations and the plan. And completed the work on time and budget as initially assessed. Definitely planning to work with them again on my next project!

Update 2025: We have completed our third project with the Мkzconstruction team. And as always, the results of their work exceed expectations! Very high quality of work and skilled craftsmen, and competitive prices. If you need to turn shit into candy, then this is the one for you. They work non-stop, offer solutions, and it is pleasant and easy to cooperate with them.

2023: We learned about Maxim and his team from friends who were very pleased with the work of the guys. Our initial project involved demolishing the old walls and ceiling, installing new ones and painting, replacing the carpet with hardwood.
But when the guys removed everything old, our project grew radically. In addition to what was planned, we also decided to raise the ceiling level, insert skylights, enlarge the toilet and install an additional bathtub there and build a loft inside the room. Of course, these are new timing and a new budget. But, with the quality and speed with which the guys work, how quickly they find solutions to complex problems (we have an old builded in 1905 house), their attitude to the project (as if they were doing it for their beloved daughter) left no doubt that everything must be done now.
The highest quality of work. I have never seen such smooth walls anywhere. The guys have done a jeweler's job, counting every inch to get a full-fledged bathroom with a limited space at the house. Always at the end of the working day they leave everything clean outside the work area and where they work, too, as far as the stage of work allows. They are very economical in use of materials. And the icing on the cake was their cleaning of the premises on the last day of work. The timeframe was kept as discussed also.
This is a room for the happiest young girl who has her own privet full bathroom, loft and skylights. Wow! Thank you so much Max and Nikolay and Igor!
We highly recommend the services of the guys. Great teamwork!
Looking forward to make other rooms with you.

September 2025: Max and team painted the exterior of our house, a tree house. He and his specialist installed cedar in a couple of soffits and were very thoughtful and collaborative about addressing the challenge it presented. He also replaced a whole section of cedar siding improving the aesthetic of that wall on the front of the house.
I am impressed with their craftsmanship, timeliness and professionalism. The finished product is beautiful and the experience was stress-free. I highly recommend them and will think of them for future projects.

We hired MKZ Construction to restore the exterior wall of our house after water damage, and Max and his team did an outstanding job. They were professional, knowledgeable, and thorough throughout the process. Max clearly explained the project details upfront and kept us updated with progress videos while I was away. The pricing was competitive and transparent. Overall, an excellent experience. I highly recommend them.

I recently hired MKZ Construction for a painting project, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. They were extremely detail-oriented, taking the time to prep, prime, and finish each surface properly rather than rushing through the job. Their communication was clear and consistent throughout the process, so I always knew what was happening and why.

One thing I really appreciated was that they did not cut corners on materials — they used high-quality products that will last, and they explained their choices along the way. They also provided thorough documentation, which made the entire experience feel professional and transparent.

Overall, MKZ Construction delivered excellent workmanship with integrity. I highly recommend them for any painting or construction needs.

Very helpful and know their stuff. Take the time to explain the process and guide through it.

I would 100% recommend this company. Very professional and quality work. I was very pleased with their services.

High quality and a fast turn around time. They don't cut any corners but at the same time don't waste any time. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend Emerald City Flooring! By far the best quote I received from anyone else and the quality and service was 10/10. Cannot say enough about their quality.

Thank you guys!

I highly recommend Emerald City Construction for any of your remodel needs. They combine quality work with professionalism and most importantly attention to detail. Thank you Dmitry for all your help!

We just had our kitchen remodeled and couldn’t be any happier with the results. Dmitry and the entire team/family were an absolute pleasure to work with. Communication was great and whenever we had questions they always answered them promptly. We will definitely be reaching out to them for future projects. So happy with how our kitchen turned out 😁

If you have a flooring job if it's carpet, laminent or vinyl this is the company to use. I scheduled this through Lowe's which was a terrible experience but from the moment Byron showed up I he put my mind at ease. He is knowledgeable, helpful and kind. He made sure that my carpet would be installed perfectly and checked with me throughout the process. All the office staff Lori, Michelle and Belinda made it there person goal to get my carpet installed in time and always were kind and helpful. They remembered me by name and all the little details about my order. Ramon my installer and his team did an amazing job and I couldn't be more happy. I will never use another company besides emerald flooring, they have earned my business.

Emerald City Builders recently completed an extensive kitchen & bath remodel for me. They completed the work on time and within budget. They are easy to work with and make customer satisfaction their priority. I highly recommend them.

Emerald City did a great job on our basement project. Communication was fantastic and the work was done in a timely manner. We are extremely happy with the results and their work in turning our outdated basement into a cozy, wonderful space! Have recommended to friends.
