The Mountain Valley team did a fantastic job on replacing our aging furnace with a new furnace and heat pump! From the office staff to the installers, all were courteous and professional. They answered all our questions and did not try to over sell us. The install passed both the electrical and mechanical inspections flawlessly! I highly recommend Mountain Valley!!

I had a great experience with Mountain Valley Heating. Jim and the team there have been great to work with, and the system they installed is working as expected. They know their Mitsubishi systems very well, and were also able to offer great value.

Great service. I got quotes from 3-5 different companies and Mountain Valley Heating/AC were the most knowledgeable, had good pricing, and their customer service was always there or called me back ASAP. They had great installers who stayed to explain everything you would want to know about the system. They got all the approvals for the city and even brought out a specialized electrician to do the AC electricals. I am very confident with their work, and a year out, my furnace is working great.

I got all 4 quotes for replacing my gas furnace, and Mountain Valley Heating & A/C's bid is the most reasonable and fair. I made a smart choice. Mountain Valley Heating did maintenance on our old furnace in past, gave good service. When we needed both new furnace and water heater, they had best offer of 3-4 companies we contacted in south King Co. We were very happy with the quick and professional way they installed the new appliances, and were happy with their adherence to face-masks, etc in current pandemic situation. Good communication, answered phone calls in timely manner. We highly recommend them.

Great experience with Mountain Valley installing a Mitsubishi ductless heat pump unit for my home. Bid was honest and reasonably priced. Jim and the crew demoed the existing oil furnace and ductwork and did a great job on the install. New unit has been flawless for the past few years. Everyone I dealt with, from the technicians to Shar at the front desk, was extremely professional. Very happy with my experience and would highly recommend.

When we decided to install AC in our home I thought about Mountain Valley first. Over 10 years ago they successfully installed a two zone heating system that four other contractors did not have the skill to perform. I recalled the excellent outcome of the heating system so it was an easy choice to select Mountain Valley for the AC as well. Jim listened to my every concern and patiently described how the work would unfold. The team arrived on time and, as promised, the work proceeded in a professional manner without any issues. Other contractors would not bid on the work due to the difficulty of re-positioning the furnace to make way for the AC unit. Jim thought through the complexity of the job and developed a plan that worked!
Last month, we replaced our 24 year old furnace. Jim crafted a special holder for the filter! As always, the work was completed on time for a reasonable price. I highly recommend Mountain Valley!

We did not go out to bid for this work because of our previous experience with them.They installed a new heating system for our home several years ago and we were very happy with the job they did. Our neighbors recently had them out to install AC as well as a new water heating system.

MVH & A/C was the only contractor to notice that my existing furnace vent pipe lacked a heat shield-Which was added as part of furnace replacement. Their bid was slightly less than the other 2 bids. 3 months later the new furnace is working well.

We smelled odor like rotten eggs on Saturday late afternoon near our furnace. We called PSE. They sent Tech out but he could not detect a a gas leak. So we went to bed with our windows open because we could still smell the odor. I called Mountain Valley Saturday evening also explaining our ordeal. I got a call back from them on Sunday even though they were closed. They told me to call PSE back again and have them check again for gas leak. Another PSE Tech came out and same thing he couldn't find leak. I told him to smell the top of the furnace and he detected it this time. Mountain Valley called me Monday morning to check on our situation. We got appointment in next morning. I suggest you call Valley Mountain anytime you need Furnace repairs. Plus the bill was way under I expected.

They were incredibly quick to respond to our request through PSE for a quote, very friendly and responsive as we scheduled our visit for the quote, and provided a very reasonable set of quotes with varied options. The installation itself was super smooth and done quickly, and we've been loving our new heat pump! We will definitely be going back to them for any future needs.

We got three bids and are very pleased that our neighbor recommended Mountain Valley, which we chose for our heat pump installation. They are professional in all aspects of the work -- systems design, removal of old furnace, electrical work, installation of new Mitsubishi heat pump (great quality), permit and paperwork follow on, and inspections (passed with flying colors). Not only this but they are personable and responsive. These are people that you want to come into your house and work on the system for you. We are pleased to write this and highly recommend them.

Had to replace my aging furnace in my 20 yr old house.. Unfortunately the furnace is located up in my attic and the first company I called don't like to work on those replacements.

I was looking for a local company that only works with American made products.. Mountain Valley Carries only American Standard furnaces which suited us..
The very competent office team quickly set me up with a quote and replacement work schedule day.
The price they were asking was easily under the box store quotes by at least $1000.00..
The night before replacement day, the weather "bomb" hit and we had no power. I was contacted by Mountain Valley early that morning to ask if any power lines were down, as that would be the only thing that would stop them..
I was blown away that they came by with no power, no lights in my freezing house and removed and replaced my new unit..
The next day power was restored and my new furnace fired up on cue .

I could not be more pleased with my new Mitsubishi mini-splits and the entire job done by Mountain Valley, from quote through inspection. They provided a great quote in a low-pressure manner. The install guys did a beautiful job and were courteous and funny, as well as very patient with my vocal dog. The electrical contractor they worked with did an ace job making things look tidy. The units quickly cool down my townhouse rooms with huge west-facing windows, even the main floor which is an open layout with stairs open to the lower and upper floors, and there is no noticeable noise or vibration from the pump which I chose to have installed raised on the side of the house. Everything passed inspection on first go and I wholeheartedly recommend these guys. Love it when internet research pays off!
