Mountain Valley did an excellent job installing our new furnace. They gave us three quotes to choose from and were very knowledgeable about HVAC systems. Their work was above and beyond what we expected and we are very happy we chose them.

It's such a relief to have a big project done by Mountain Valley, everyone has been very professional and knowledgeable. We had a complicated install of 5 split ac units and a heat pump around our home. Their lead tech, Jim returned twice to make sure the system was working as it should. Thanks for a great job!

Mountain Valley heating and A/C had been performing our annual maintenance for our heat pump system on the main house for the past few years. Recently we hired them to install a new ductless heat pump system for our detached garage. They also moved the A/C unit on our existing system. They were on top of all aspects of the project, excellent communication the entire way. They went the extra mile in helping us with the permitting process. The work itself was flawless. I highly recommend this company for all your AC and heating needs.

Everything about my recent experience with Mountain Valley Heating & Air Conditioning (July/August 2025) was stellar. The company is professional, honest, and efficient. Their main installer is an incredible problem-solver, and the owner is very nice, communicative, and helpful. The entire crew was also very nice and cleaned up after the installation. I had gotten bids from five companies, and initially hadn't noticed this local and small company. I'm fortunate to have gotten a recommendation from a HVAC professional who had worked with the local government, and am very grateful. The company is Mitsubishi star one, which has the added benefit of extended warranty period. I have no concerns that this company will follow through if there is a problem with the system in the future. By the way, one of the companies I interviewed actually lied to me about whether their recommended system actually qualified for the $2000 Federal tax credit. They were a lead contender, so I am happy I didn't choose them. I couldn't be happier with my new Mitsubishi heat pump / air handler system, and it's the first time i my adult life to have air conditioning. I've ended my relationship with PSE natural gas, which is a big plus. I'll have clean and efficient heating and cooling, and it'll be powered by my solar installation.

Mountain Valley was great. Their prices was very reasonable, and they walked us through every step of the process, be it applying for an electrical upgrade, getting a permit from the city, and getting our rebate. Ann and all the team there were communicative and helpful. I highly recommend them.

I am happy to say that I have hired Mountain Valley Heating & AC 3 times over the past 15 years.
Most recently, they did a fabulous job adding a heat pump to my already existing gas/forced air system. The process was easy from start to finish.
After my initial phone call, the technician, Jim, came to my house at the scheduled time in which he assessed my system, discussed the project with me, and provided me an estimate for the new heat pump. The process was quick and easy and Jim did not try to upsell me on anything. Jim took the time to answer all of my questions and discuss the process of adding the cooling system. Anne and Shar were also great and helpful in answering my questions when I would call on the phone.

Also, of about 6 companies that provided me with an estimate, this was only one of two companies that informed me that I did not have to replace my furnace at the same time that I'm adding a heat pump or a/c unit. Additionally, they were one of two companies that informed me that the project qualified me for a Puget Sound Energy rebate. After the install, they handled the rebate process for me and I did not have contact PSE to get my rebate. Mountain Valley handled all the paperwork for me. I am happy to have found a great HVAC company that I can rely on. I will be sure to always contact this company when I have a need to repair or install a new furnace and/or heat pump.

We worked with Mountain Valley Heating & Air Conditioning at the referral of a neighbor and couldn’t be happier with choosing them. From the moment they came to give us a quote we could tell that they were personally invested in doing a thorough and professional job. They were fair and knowledgeable, and back office provided great project management communication from the install, to coordinating the inspections with the city, to ordering warranties. We are very pleased with the price, the quality, and especially the service we received on our new heat pump / ac and air scrubber!

Make sure to contact Mountain Valley Heating and Air (MVH) if you are in the market for a new HVAC system. If you are a Puget Sound Energy customer, this company is a PSE contractor. Jim not only came out to our house to give us a comprehensive estimate, he was also the person who did the actual installation. I needed to replace our 18 year old American Standard heat pump but wasn’t quite ready to replace our furnace. After thoroughly educating myself on heat pumps, I called 7 different HVAC companies for estimates. I was open to all the top brands. Some of the companies would not replace our heat pump without also replacing our furnace. A couple of companies said that they would flush out our old heat pump lines with nitrogen instead of replacing them. Most companies sent out a salesman to give us an estimate but they were not the ones who would install it. Yesterday Jim from MVH came out to our house and replaced our old heat pump with a new American Standard heat pump. He and his assistant Braden were at our house for over 9 hours doing the work. They meticulously installed our new heat pump, replaced our heat pump line with a new one and replaced the coil on our furnace. Jim removed our broken automatic air filter and designed a slot to fit a standard size disposable air filter. I think they went above and beyond with the installation and their clean up was impeccable. Jim installed a new “smart” thermostat which also qualified for a PSE rebate. Anne, the office manager was so helpful in answering questions I had and in completing the PSE rebate forms and all the paperwork. MVH also had competitive pricing and I saved money with the PSE rebates. Yes, I am very happy that I decided on Mountain Valley Heating and Air to install our new heat pump. This company was also the HVAC company we hired 18 years ago and I highly recommend them!

Mountain Valley is the cats pajamas! It was super smooth to work with Anne and James. Also, of the half dozen quotes I got for an 18k ductless mini-split, they were the best price! My mitsubishi minisplit is great, it seems to be using 50-60% less electricity than my old baseboard heaters.

Just got a full hvac installed (mitsubishi with uv air scrubber included) I highly recommend Mountain Valley and Mitsubishi for your next hvac install. Its so quiet, efficient and the air smells clean. This is especially important for a 1950s house and allergies. Regarding the bid process, these guys have great honest pricing and the install was perfect. Look no further than Mountain Valley for an honest great price and A+ install.

Mountain Valley Heating installed 3 ductless mini-split head units with a 30K BTU outdoor unit. Being a log home with unusual construction, the install was complicated. James came up with creative ideas on how to route the lines for a clean install. Their quote was not the lowest, but it was competitive. Given James' ideas and attention to detail and my interactions with Anne, I went ahead and had them do the install. The install was tricky but the installers took their time and it went smoothly. I changed location on one of the indoor units and the installers were able to accommodate. James also came back and spent extra time doing the finishing touches and brought me up to speed on the set up and the app. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely hire Mountain Valley Heating again.

When it was time to replace our Lennox system, I researched our options as thoroughly as I could and compared six vendors, who visited our house and gave their recommendations and estimates. When it was time to decide, Mountain Valley was the clear choice: Jim was professional, experienced, friendly and patient, giving detailed answers and made sure I was satisfied with each one. It was easy to reach the office by email and phone to get answers from Shar and Anne to questions that came up afterwards. The American Standard furnace and heat pump were good quality for the price and when it came time for the installation, it went smoothly and on schedule.

It has been about three weeks since then and the follow-through from Mountain Valley has been sufficiently helpful and the unit is running well. My family and I are very satisfied customers and I would happily recommend Mountain Valley to anyone in their service area.

Mountain Valley Heating & A/C put in a new furnace. Every step of the way they were able to answer all my questions. The job was put in front of another small job due to us being out of heat in February. Very thoughtful!! The install was done and looks great. The inspector who bought it off even commented that it was a really good install. Will use and recommend them again.

Our old heater was not turning all the way on. We saw the feedback on Google and our neighborhood FB site about AAA and called them. Sonny came out immediately to assess the issue. Was upfront about why it could no longer fire (due to an installation issue by another company decades ago). He explained all the options, called Corey out to give us an estimate so we could determine fix or replace. We went with replace. The very next day the installation team was there and were very professional and polite, answering any questions. The price was reasonable, everyone we interacted with was great and we could not recommend them more.

We had a really great experience with AAA. Making an appointment with them was super fast and easy, through emails. Appointment was set immediately for next day. We met Steve Pearson for a walkthrough observation and consultation. He came on time and presented everything very clearly and professionally. He went through all the options with us, explained to us pros and cons for each options together with the quotes on the spot, which made it so easy for us to make our decision. After we decided and signed the contract, Steve also helped us to schedule an appointment for next-day installation, he also made sure to let us know what to expect the next day. The technicians came on time as expected, with their professional company truck and all the necessary tools. Everything went smoothly, the techs were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. Thanks Steve and the team again for providing us such a great experience, way better than other contractors we met before!

The AAA office staff was friendly and helpful, finding us timely and convenient appointments. We received several confirmations, reminders and timing updates on the day of our service.
Brett, our technician, was knowledgeable and thorough. He explained the repair process, was quick and clean and allowed us to ask questions along the way. Overall, we are very pleased with the service!

Jim was great. Professional and efficient. He communicated wonderfully over the phone since I couldn’t be there. His diagnostic was thorough and accurate. He also made sure our house was properly closed up after he left. And he called me to confirm.

AAA has been reliable and easy to work with! We had been working with them for a few years when we decided it was time to instal AC. Roosevelt managed our project and helped us choose the unit that would be best for our needs and our budget. On the day of installation the entire team was friendly and efficient. Special shout out to Ozzy who helped answer all of our questions and made sure everything was running smoothly! A few days after the project was completed Roosevelt came back to our home to ensure we were pleased, a very nice touch. Great service from the entire team!

Travis solved problems that have gone unfixed for years. He immediately understood that as a 70 year old woman, I might need help in several areas…ALL of which were addressed. He corrected a faulty installation on my thermostat and explained everything, even programming. He restored power to the furnace and took the time to explain its workings and how/when to change the filter. He photographed extensively in case I needed help remembering. He was here for hours so I anticipated a large bill. To my surprise and relief (fixed income) all I am paying for is a supply of filters and a badly overdue duct cleaning. I was so astonished I nearly wept! He was very personable, interesting, and generous with his knowledge. I have asked for a few business cards extra because I live in a huge community of 55+ people that are desperate for good service help. The filters arrived in 2 days so I can arrange the cleaning at my convenience. Best service call from ANY kind of company that I have experienced. Keep up the great work, because Travis says he loves working there, too.

Carlos a from AAA heating and air-conditioning came to my house today and serviced my air conditioner and furnace. He was able to troubleshoot and fix the issues that we had same day was so nice so courteous and so informative. I can honestly say I was more satisfied with his service and anyone else who has done work on my house ever, he was super well educated with what he was doing, and I trust the advice that he gave me all the way through. I would hire this company again and I recommend them to anyone. This company is going to help you out to fix your issues they’re not gonna overcharge you. I feel the total that they charged us Was totally reasonable and fair. Have a woman hiring people to do work in your house can be very scary sometimes because you don’t know if you’re being overcharged or taken advantage of I promise you you don’t have to worry about that with this company.
