I've been very happy over many years with the help that Ballard Tree Service has given me. I have a mature garden in North Seattle with many plants that I am in love with and protective of. They always do a nice job of taking care of things and being sure not to injure the other plants in the process. Dan, who does he estimating, is very knowledgeable and a good source of advice. The office staff is really friendly and flexible. Thank you Ballard Tree!!

I am very happy with the work Ballard Tree Service did on my property. They pruned multiple trees, include a large one requiring a climber and bucket truck, and removed two small bushes/trees. They were very professional and did great work.

INCONSIDERATE TO THEIR NEIGHBORS!
They dump all your stumps for free firewood which means anyone with a loud chainsaw or hatchet can come by and make an immense amount of noise for up to an hour sometimes.

This dumping spot is right next to residential homes. I can't enjoy my balcony Because all I hear are chainsaws!!! I called them but they don't care about us.

They've ruined our neighborhood.

Please don't support this business.

I am absolutely delighted with the work that was completed yesterday: Many trees shaped and pruned with care, several hedges trimmed, and blackberries galore removed. Jose and the entire crew were truly fantastic; they are an amazing team and did an excellent job.

The Ballard Tree Service was great to work with. The crew arrived on time and were very courteous and professional. The pruning I needed turned out to be just what I needed and was expecting. Customer Service was responsive and all my questions were answered in a friendly and timely way. The estimate for the work turned out to be less than I expected. Always a good thing. All in all, I'm a satisfied customer and would recommend their services to others.

Having to deal with an emergency tree removal can be stressful but Ballard Tree Service made that experience a breeze. Chris came out to the site the afternoon to give a quote and had his crew scheduled to come the next morning. The cut and clean took roughly two days but they were thorough and went above and beyond to even fix the fence and left no traces of them being there. Hopefully I don’t need their services again but if I ever do, they’d be the first to call.

This company IS HORRIBLE!!! PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!! Our neighbor hired them to remove one of her trees. To get to it they came in our back yard and on their way in HACKED up our beautiful Evergreen tree which was no where near the tree they had to get to. Then backed their cherry picker in. They did not ask just took a chainsaw to our tree
It is now dying. It is a very old beautiful tree. They did not have a permit to do so which is now illegal in Seattle. This company is heartless and they don't care about trees and they are not nice to nature. Please boycot them!!!!!!!

Our insurance company required us to trim our tress away from the house in order to renew our homeowner's policy. We were 3+ weeks away from leaving on a 5 weeks trip and the policy was due to be renewed while we were gone. Kelsey came out right away and gave us a quote on the work. She was very informative about what would be done and made sure it worked with our "vision" of the trees and bushes to be trimmed. We accepted the offer and the work was completed within a week. The two men who did the work were also very pleasant and efficient in getting the work done. They left the area clean and it looks great! We needed paperwork from the Ballard Tree Service for our insurance company and the office staff made sure we got it within 24 hours. We are very happy with how things turned out. I highly recommend Ballard Tree Service for your tree care.

Scheduling and getting a quote was oddly a bit rough this time around for some reason as we've had them out before with great success. But they took care of us when we settled up. Just want to say this is truly a great company. Alot of their employees have worked there for several years which speaks volumes to how they treat their employees I hope!! Speaking of which Jessie is just a great stand up hard working fella. Showed up right on time. Had a good chat, easy to talk to knowledgeable and passionate about his profession. Very cool seeing him get his gear on and get up in the trees he cut all the pieces just right for our fire pit. Ivan was great as well, it was fun watching him take down our little apple tree that tried to be. He went the extra mile and was so kind to rake and blow out extra leaves and make the yard look extra nice. It was emotional seeing our dead maple go and the struggling one next to it. But Jessie made my heart feel better telling me how happy the one that was left was going be! They pruned our crazy plum and wow! I wished I took before and afters. Greg, the owner of this service is straight-shooter who knows trees. We depend on him and his team, including Marina in the office and Max and Ryan in the field to help us keep our property healthy.
Recently they took down one of our loved, but dead firs. Max is a monster, scrambling up a 90’ tree to bring it safely down.
We are lucky to have such a great resource.

These guys are amazing! I saw them working on neighbor's bush. I asked if they could cut the border area in the alley as well. When I got back home, I was surprised they went above and beyond and made everything look great. They are very professional, well managed crew, cleaned up thoroughly as well. I'll completely trust them and definitely recommend their service.

I had the best experience with Todd and his crew from Ballard Tree Service! They removed several trees that were whipping my house and trimmed a bunch of others around the house and in the parking strip. From the estimate, permitting, scheduling and the work, this was a great experience. My trees look so good! They are ART.
They did a huge amount of trimming and cleaned up everything afterwards. So Beautiful!! All in one day!

We had Ballard Tree Service back out to prune some very overgrown Rhododendrons, Laurels and a few other trees. They came out and provided a quote very quickly and were easy to schedule. Their staff arrived on time, did a great job, and cleaned up our yard. This is the second good experience we had with them as a couple of years ago they pruned a very tall Fir tree in our yard. No more falling large limbs. We would use them again for future jobs without hesitation.

My mother needed to get some overgrown trees pruned that were encroaching on the neighbors home, and BTS came out and took care of it expertly, and at a wonderful price. After getting three seperate quotes, Ballard Tree Service explained their quote clearly, so we went with them instead of the generic "This is just how much this service generally costs" we got from other companies.

On top of that, when they came out, they were considerate of how they worked, were careful of our neighbors property and the street, and were done much faster than we though they'd be, and left everything clean and clear. Amazing service and we will absolutely be going with them in the future.

The folks at Ballard Tree Service were all great, from quoting to carrying out the work. Communication was easy, they were on time or early, and cleaned up the yard beautifully afterwards! They even took the little pile of leaves I had left while raking because I didn't have another leaf bag. I highly recommend them!

My home backyard has a deodar cedar tree that used to grow very messy and not be pruned for long time.
Todd, a arborist have 30 years experience, climb up to the tree top to prune. He did an amazing job. The tree was changed a lot and looked much better than before. This is just I want. I am so happy. Thank you! Todd. and also thank crew Maxx and Jonathan.

Crew arrived on time and went right to work. Their clean up afterward was excellent. I am very pleased with the work they did (removed one tree and trimmed another). This is the fourth (or fifth?) job they have done for me.

I don't think anyone wants to cut down a tree -- trees are brothers. My eucalyptus tree was dying. It covered my yard with willowy branches and I loved it. When the crew came out, they were understanding of how emotional I was about the tree, and the conflict I was feeling about chopping it down. They were friendly, super professional, and they didn't mind me sitting on the sidewalk with my dad watching the way the man in the lift skillfully cut it down branch by branch. All the pieces landed nicely on the sidewalk, they salvaged the big pieces of the trunk (which I hope someone will use), and they did a fabulous job of sweeping the sidewalk, the street gutters, and even the lawn. No one wants to cut down a tree, but if you have to do it, don't hesitate to call Ballard Tree Service. RIP tree. Thank you to the crew.

Ballard Tree Service is great. They gave me a fast and reasonable estimate (that they stuck to!) and even threw in a couple extra snips here and there. They took the time to get the right equipment and team to ensure that my house and other plants were safe during the process. They also were kind enough to leave me with some barrels of chips to use in my yard! Highly recommend.
