D.A. Burns is a great place for rug cleaning! Staff is friendly and efficient. I had price estimate quoted over phone and company was very faithful to stick to estimate- no trickery. I highly recommend this company

I took in a 10 year old white wool rug. It had been subject to my 8 year old son spilling and dropping food on it for most of his life. It had never been cleaned and came out looking bright and uniform. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great experience.

Our 25-year-old white carpets came out looking great after the DA Burns technician spot treated and steam cleaned them. We were notified of our two-hour window a day in advance, and received a confirmation call the morning of the service. The technician was on time, and worked conscientiously and efficiently taking care not to scrape walls or furniture. We have been using DA Burns for over forty years, through three homes, and have always been happy with the service they provide.

This was my first time to use DA Burns and the entire experience from setting the appointment to packing up the equipment after cleaning was positive and professional. I will use them again and recommend them for anyone looking for carpet care.

The guy was knowledgeable -- identified the fabric on one couch right off and checked the manufacturers' tags on the couches for cleaning instructions which I liked. I was disappointed that he was unable to get out one stain on an arm completely. He cleaned for two solid hours, left the couch cushions positioned to dry quickly and there was no odor. If we did this more often he surely would have been able to get them every speck out but kind of amazing he got them as clean as he did. We have used this company before for rugs -- they're trustworthy.

Im a repeat customer because this company provides excellent service and does a quality job on my carpets and upholstery. My technician was careful and spent significant time doing a thorough and complete job. Hire this company if you want the best!

Round two - had my area rugs sent out for cleaning which is not a small task given my steel and wood dining table that needed to be moved. Kellen and James expertly and carefully moved that, as well as other heavy pieces and reinstalled my brightened, clean carpets. These guys are simply the best! When you need a professional, predictable carpet cleaner, hire D.A. Burns.

From the first interaction on the phone I felt like a service was being provided instead of me having to ask for service.

The appointment planning, in my case, was short notice but I was still accommodated and even on a Saturday. A note to those needing service, plan ahead to try and get an 8AM appointment as the cascading later appointments are all windows of time (e.g. technician will arrive between 2:30-4:30 vs. see you at 8AM!)

Communication makes the difference. I received a call the day before my appointment to give me my time window. I received another call, day of & in the morning, from the technician confirming time and offered expectation setting answers to my questions.

Upon arrival the technician, Larry, called to confirm his parking location and even moved a bit to accommodate a neighbor. Kind and thoughtful, he got straight to work and, albeit deserved, offered no criticism of our tired carpets, only optimism for an acceptable outcome.

The work was completed above expectations and will provide a few more months to our floor's coverings.

Ask for Larry if you appreciate a kind personality and hearty laugh.

Very nice job from beginning to end. Everyone from on the phone to the two young men who picked up and re-delivered our rug were very pleasant and helpful. They positioned it just exactly right in the room. And the rug was beautifully cleaned and looks so fresh and bright.

I think DA Burns is great! I have had quite a few rugs cleaned there and they do an excellent job. This time we had a rug both cleaned and repaired. The repair person, Julie, is excellent to work with. She gave us a good idea of which repairs were the most necessary and worked with us to come up with a good plan. Highly recommend her work and we will definitely use DA Burns again!

We had a really big oriental rug that needed to be cleaned and then held onto for a little while before the person who was going to be taking it could pick it up. The folks at DA Burns were efficient and kind from beginning to end! They communicated well and helped unload the car when we brought it and put it back onto the roof of the car when it went away at the end. Not our first experience with the Burns. We always go back because they are the best!! Really outstanding service!

They did a great job cleaning and the guys who moved our rug out and back in were easy to work with. It was very expensive and I didn't feel like I received above-average service from scheduling staff. I asked if the rug could be delivered on last shift because I wanted my husband home to help move stuff and didn't feel like they were even trying to make that work. At the same time, the party line was that the movers don't help lift heavy things but then they were happy to help. The message from scheduling is not "we want this to be an exceptional experience" but more "this is the way we do it, like it or not."

My family has been using D.A. Burns services since the 60’s and never has had a problem, until recently, the last 2-3 years. My wife tried 3 separate times with all different rugs as we have many, many of our silk rugs were completely destroyed as far as the feel goes and the overall look and pop to the color. My wife mentioned that her customer service experience was not great, employees were unknowledgeable and rude, seeming like they didn’t want to deal with her. After that interaction, we continued on thinking everybody has bad days. The next time we brought in rugs, my wife specified to managers her concerns on each and every rug, she was told they will be taken care of and she should have no worries, but told me the managers seemed to have the same attitude as the customer service employees. Prior to these experiences, we have used D.A. Burns many times and been more satisfied, never a complaint. My wife is optimistic and tried not one or two times but three and felt all three experiences were equivalent as far as lack of knowledge, poor customer service, and rude managers.

We will not be continuing any services with D.A. Burns and we will not recommend them to any one. Do not go here, they care about the money in your pocket, not you.

This week I had DA Burns come out and clean my carpet. I considered a number of carpet cleaning services, but I was impressed with the professionalism of DA Burns. I was very happy with the final result. It was very easy to schedule and they worked around my requirements. The young man who actually performed the service, Connor, was a very pleasant and efficient worker. He was on time and let me know ahead of time when he was en route to my house. All in all, a very good experience.

I had an unknown substance spilled on a very valuable couch. I took the couch cushion to D.A. Burns, and they were very professional and straightforward about the chances of getting it out. I appreciated their realistic assessment. Fortunately, it came out beautifully and the couch is as good as new now! The price was also very reasonable, and they had the piece ready before the promised date. A great experience and I couldn't be happier.

Awesome experience all around. Only took a week or so to have the work completed . . . and Alvaro was so very helpful/knowledgeable at the Bellevue location - and the old wool rug turned out beautifully (before/after photos included :-)).

I have been a customer of DA Burns for the past 25 years. I recently had our cream, wool, carpet on our staircase cleaned. The individual who cleaned them was on time, respectful, listened to my concerns and did a fantastic job in a short period of time. The stairs turned out beautifully and I am very pleased! They have a minimum charge ($250) which I was made aware of prior to arrival. They also called the day prior to confirm the appointment and arrival time.

This review is following an email from D.A. Burns to write a review. Since my review is negative, I did reach out to them first as I wanted to give them the opportunity to reply but I did not receive a response.
I had two large area rugs cleaned in December and they already look dingy. The rugs were bought in 2022 and this was the first professional cleaning for them. They came back feeling as if the cleaning had spread out the nap of the fibers and now, only 3 months after the cleaning, the rugs look dingy and the fibers are flattened. I was concerned about adding the carpet stain protectant but it was already over $400 just to have two area rugs cleaned and I was concerned about it being toxic. I wish I would have added it since I have read that it "repels spills and prevents dirt from bonding to fibers, making cleaning easier and it acts as a sacrificial layer that extends carpet life." I wish D. A. Burns would have explained this to me.
I took another chance and had two more smaller area rugs cleaned a few weeks ago and I did pay extra for the stain treatment. I have not put them down yet. Unfortunately, I can see through the plastic they are wrapped in that the backside of the carpet is dirty and that is not good. I did reach out to D.A. Burns before making this post but I did not get a reply.

Always a pleasure working with DA Burns. They are very professional and customer oriented, whether it’s a service person at my home, office staff, or warehouse assistance with drop-off rug cleaning. I would recommend them to anyone that wants a carpet cleaning job well done.

My whole house carpet cleaning experience was extremely positive. Bob showed up when I was told he would. He was very pleasant, and thorough. We had placed much of the furniture on carpet sliders, and a few pieces were very heavy (I helped in those cases.) One of our rooms was highly packed with heavy furniture, and he had a great plan to strategically move things to get to all the carpet. As he was wrapping up, I asked if I could add a recliner chair that I had, that had never been cleaned. He added it to the invoice, and again, was very thorough in his cleaning. To top it off, it was very affordable for how much area he covered, and the furniture moved. He even put back on the outdoor spicket cover. I highly recommend DA Burns in Bellevue, WA. THANK YOU, BOB, for all your hard work.

I’m very grateful finding DA Burns! We have a long, narrow living room and needed an area rug cut down to size, with finished edges, to fit in the room. We also needed a matching carpet pad. The people at DA Burns were especially helpful in answering questions and explaining the process. They did an excellent job with our rug, the pricing is more than reasonable and the whole project was completed in less than a week!
