i apologize for my original review. I was mislead by a distributor that King would direct ship to me. That is not the case. My issue with poor service was with the distributor who has now apologized to me and is trying to correct the matter.

From my vantage point, currently, this is your best option for quality product at a great price..their heaters keep you warm their other products do those things that they're supposed to do and I'm even showing you a picture of their mascot that lives there

Great company. Great heaters. I have had the in wall manual heater for a small outbuilding on my property and it has never given me a problem. Going strong since 2006.

I bought a ceramic baseboard heater 4 yrs ago. Quiet and works great with no static in the air (like regular baseboard heaters) so does not affect computers. Am now buying another as my office expands!

We had a power failure this weekend and when the power came back on the control unit for our 4 year old heated floor was dead. I called King on Monday and I received a free replacement on Wednesday. Unbelievable service.

I am owner/installer for a small tile company and we have used king undertile heat systems for over 15 years without issue until september 2017 when I installed my first king cable that has been under test since then. As soon as it was determined the wire was installed correctly and blame could not be placed on the installation and with all the tests pointing to product warranty King has been back peddaling avoiding my electricians repeated attempts to get a repair kit and after four months we still cant get them to honor their warranty. All I can say is we used King heat by my recommendation so you can imagine how this has effect on my company. King electric is not the company I thought them to be and until they make this right i will strongly lobby against the use of their products on my projects as well as voice my opinion to my suppliers for king electrics under floor heat wire. They do not honor their own warranty even when we followed their every instruction. They finally sent us a repair kit but wont clear my electrician to do the repair nor have they sent a service tech so here we still are going on 5 months with my clients talking arbitration! Thanks King you are a disgrace to American Business Integrity.

I bought a semi truck with a KT1215, had a problem with heater turning off. I called customer service at King Electric and they told me how to clean and lube the heater and that fixed my problem. They could have sold me parts and I would have purchased them but instead they took the time to tell me how to fix the heater for no charge. It is nice to know there are still American Companies that are honorably.

These guys have great customer service. I was troubleshooting an older model heater and sent an email to get some advice. Randle, one of their techs, responded promptly and identified the problem through emails and pictures.

I purchased a King Electrical heater and never been more disappointed by a company. Extremely poor customer experience. Absolutely disappointed in many levels. Look else where and do not be as disappointed as i with my heater that’s worthless.

I bought a SKB2410 heater on EBay and had some issues with it and the seller was not helpful at all. I contacted Randall at King’s tech department and he couldn’t be more helpful. He helped trouble shoot the issue and even sent new parts. I couldn’t be more impressed by that level of service. Well done King!!!

Im a residential customer and had a unit go out on me. Randall took the time to figure out how he could help me best. Its starting to get cold and I have a new born child, its nice that some people will take the extra step to help you out. I really appreciate Randall and King Electric you have a customer for life.

I can't think of a better word than "extraordinary" to describe the amazing customer service I received from King Electric and Sales/Tech Support rep, Chuck Dance. I am a homeowner/residential customer. They took the initiative on their end and resolved a problem not even of their or my making, simply to show great customer support and service. Sometimes "things that seem to good to be true" actually are true! Consider me a devoted King Electric customer. Many thanks to King Electric and Chuck. Two very big thumbs up!

Charles (Chuck) Dance is truly a great asset to King Electric! I called into the customer service/tech support line looking for assistance with a thermostat issue I was having. This issue has been a real thorn dealing with! Chuck was very personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to all my questions! He was able to assist me with my issues. The service I received from Chuck made my day a lot more peaceful knowing I had a professional directing me into the right direction. I definitely will recommend my family, friends, and fellow business partners to King Electric based off the quality customer service I received from Chuck. It was a pleasure speaking with Chuck! Thanks again King Electric! Give Chuck a huge thanks for me.

I purchased a ceiling fan for my bathroom the model was WHFC24151W the fan never produced the heat it was rated for I went through countless emails and conversations with their supposed technical staff. They were totally incompetent. Dealing with this company is a waste of time and energy.

Replacement parts for the KB2405 heater are ridiculously priced. A logic board (made in China) costs $180! It was less expensive to just junk the unit and replace it with a different brand. It's a shame because it barely got used and the money was spent up front to support a US company.

I have several 8' 1500 watt baseboard heaters in my home and most work fine. Last week, the unit in the dining room popped and arced and nearly caught fire. The lead from the element burned off and burned up to the wire nut. Thankfully, the heater was clean and no fire spread passed the junction box at the end of the heater. Chase in tech support was very quick to reply to my concern (Lowe's was NOT). I took the heater to their factory in Seattle and they gave me a new heater. I'm hopeful they will find the cause and make the necessary corrections to the design. They did suggest that the wire nut was the source of the arcing but I'm doubtful since the plastic cap for the wire nut was only partially melted and the lead from the element was fully burned off so that's why 4 stars - not 5. Again, I hope they do the right thing as they have the old heater for their inspection (and the remnants of the pigtail from the element.

I am very impressed with their product, but especially with their customer service. I purchased a garage heater 6 years ago. I tried turning it on with the remote and it would not work. I emailed customer service and they sent me a replacement remote within a couple days. The new remote did not work so I emailed again. The service tech Randall P asked some questions and was able to diagnose and sent me a replacement part that fixed it. Kamilah was an excellent communicator. I truly appreciate the support and will definitely purchase their products in the future.

I had an EC thermostat installed 4 years ago by an electrician, and didn't have any problems with it. However, at the start of this heating season, I was having difficulty getting the thermostat to turn on the 3 baseboard electric radiators that it is connected to. So I went on their website and selected my model number and brought up the .pdf of the instructions, which also included an upgraded model. While the wiring diagrams that were displayed were similar for both models, the operating instructions were only listed for the upgraded ECP model. So I decided to call Technical Support for assistance, and I was certain that it would be an easy call for the Technician.

Unfortunately, there was a problem right from the start, and throughout the 30 minute ordeal dealing with this company. The technician told me that he couldn't find that model number, so that I must be on a different company's website, and since I was in Canada, possibly a Canadian website. I explained to him that I was indeed on the company's American website and even gave him the URL for the .pdf, but he kept talking over me, claiming that he couldn't find that product and so it must be very old. When I finally got him to calm down, I verbally led him through the steps that brought up the instructions. Once he was finally faced with those instructions, and the wiring instructions, he didn't apologize and try to help me. Instead, he doubled-down, claiming that since the company didn't make or sell that specific model number anymore, he couldn't help me. Then he just hung up on me.
I was almost in shock, having been treated so poorly and with such disrespect. So I called the main number and pressed the number for Customer Service. I figured that the Technician's attitude was not a reflection of the company's view of their customers. I got a voicemail message, so I left a message. But since I prefer to speak with people directly, I called back and pressed the number for sales, figuring that the salesperson could transfer me to the Customer Service Manager. I spoke with Kelsey, who was very insistant that I explain the situation to her, even though she wasn't in the Customer Service department. I finally told her that I wanted to discuss with the Manager of that department regarding my conversation with another employee. Instead of transfering me to the C.S. Manager, she transfered me to Melissa's voicemail, who is the Human Resources Manager. After a full 24 hours, I still haven't been contacted by anyone.

If you want to deal with a company that will respect you and assist you for the long term, do NOT do business with this company. Needless to say, I will never buy another one of their products. If this is an example of American manufacturing, no wonder that America is being surpassed.
