Appliance Repair reviews in Spokane, Washington

Absolutely awefull, we’ve been waiting almost a week for our appointment. They called and said they were 5 minutes away and never showed up. I called to find out where they were and office manager said they couldn’t find us and moved on. Wanted to schedule us another 4 days out. I would reccomend finding a company that is honest, customer oriented, and honors their appointment times.

First, I want to say that service tech, Vern, was incredibly skilled, quick and very friendly and helpful! The office is absolutely horrible. It took them two full weeks to get a part in that I was told would take a few days. I had to repeatedly call to get any information from them, they never once contacted me.

What a joke of a company. Supposed to be a whirlpool warranty business but doesn't service an area 35 miles away. An appointment was made with whirlpool and we waited around all day for the service tech and he never showed up, when we inquired with our dealer as why they didn't show up they said they didn't care they don't cover that area don't contact them. Don't use this joke of a company

My 5 month old Kitchenaid refrigerator has been out of order since October 23. Repairmen have been sent here 4 times. The first two couldn't determine the problem. The third one ordrered new parts. It takes days
to receive parts from only God knows where and then they take forever to schedule installation. That done and still my refrigerator is was still of order. I have now complained to Kitchenaid and Home Depot. ABC now
ordered other new parts that were delivered to them yesterday. The soonest they can get to me is NEXT WEEK. It will have been ONE MONTH
that I have been living out of an ice chest. BEWARE! -
Do not use this company. Office scheduler lies and isn't customer oriented. Insisted she left a message for us.We had a missed call from them no message. We assumed they would call back. Not. Called to get exact time only to find out they didn't place us on their schedule. She argues instead of trying to resolve the issue you have. She then tried to schedule us out 10 days later for one of their all day windows.

The WORST customerr service I've ever, ever received. Don't use this business. Too bad lowes uses this for their warranty and won't let me use another company. Will never, ever buy from lowes just for this reason and will never, ever, use this company. Also, the technician broke a part of my dishwasher and didn't tell me , so now I'm stuck with a broken appliance, a broken pay, and will have to pay someone else to fix it. If I could do zero stars, trust me, I would.

I have used these guys twice and have been happy both times. They were easy to work with, knowledgeable, and timely. They didn't try to charge for parts and repairs I didn't need and the technician (Jeff) that came to my home was great. Thank you, guys, for taking care of me. I will be back.

ABC is top notch in the greater Spokane area. I have had several service attempts on my refrigerator by other independent servicers, but none of them were ever able to fix the issue. ABC came and was able to find the exact problem and get it working. ABC was very kind and polite. Jasmine and Martin are always more than willing to help with any questions or concerns. Will definitely call for future service needs.

GREAT COMPANY !! Have been fighting a issue with Samsung over a ice maker that has not worked. After several other service companies tried to fixed a call to ABC and a total FIX. Great customer service. A big THANK YOU goes out to Jasmine and Dr. Scott. Job well done.

I recently used ABC for repair of 2 major appliances--a clothes dryer and an electric range. The dryer door had become loose. And I had accidentally melted some aluminum foil into the range's glass top. The work was done promptly and professionally. And--other than my appliances now working and looking great, and getting a call from the technician--I'd never know he had been in my home. These folks are great to do business with!

The technician who worked on our appliance did a good job. The issue is getting past the unprofessional, rude and incompetent receptionist/scheduler. She lied about leaving a message for our incoming part and cost us two additional weeks without a washer. I would never use this company again if it means dealing with her.

I scheduled an appointment through Kitchenaid’s website, ABC was the company that had the first available appointment which was tomorrow 5-7-2020. About 10 minutes later I received a call from ABC letting me know that they service the south hill on certain days of the week and they actually wouldn’t be able to come out until Monday 5-11-2020. The lady I was on the phone with said looking over the description of the issue I typed in on the Kitchenaid website that these parts wouldn’t be covered under any warranty. She said only parts in the sealed refrigeration system are covered. I said according to the warranty and according to Kitchenaid’s warranty service department the evaporator is a part of the sealed refrigeration warranty. She then sternly told me I was wrong and she didn’t care what Kitchenaid said that if they come out those parts will not be covered under warranty. When I would try to explain it is she would cut me off and talk over me very rudely. I eventually said just cancel my appointment and I will have Fred’s appliance fix my refrigerator as they are an authorized service tech. Once I was off the phone with her I called Kitchenaid back and they verified that it is covered and apologized as no one should be spoken to in that manner. I will never use this company again and will steer anyone clear of using them. I have also asked Kitchenaid to pass this on to their managers to remove them as a certified service technician.

As new parents with a 10 month old they royally !@$%ed us. We schedule them to come on the 15th of September for a washing machine that was starting to have problems. 15th of September was a couple weeks out but okay. Then on the day of they called to cancel claiming there was "a system glitch " and they wouldn't have the information needed to help us which was obvious bull because she rescheduled us without asking for any of the information she claimed to have lost! On top of that she rescheduled us for over a month from our original date. On top if that our washer completely died over the weekend (should have been fixed!) so now we're without a washer and we have a BABY (who creates a ton of laundry) and even buying a new one takes weeks and services are all booked out at other places. Yea same day BS cancelation on parents with a baby for a necessity. Seriously incompetent. Someone at corporate should do some pruning. Should be a competitive job market in a couple weeks.

After using this company we feel ripped off. DO NOT USE THEM. Our dishwasher was leaving a pool of water on the floor after each use so we called them. The repairman had us buy 2 gaskets for over 200 dollars. It still left a large pool of water underneath. Called another plumber and he had it fixed in 2 minutes and said it didn't need gaskets or anything else. The disposal was clogged. We wasted 300 dollars on them to come out and do absolutely nothing but by the wrong parts and waste our time and money.

We've used Appliance Hospital a number of times. Easy to arrange appointments, a call to confirm time window, knowledgeable repair people, and rarely need a second trip. This last time the repairman thought he remembered something that would save us money, he looked it up, and was correct! The part we needed was paid for by the appliance manufacturer. He went above and beyond.

I purchased a new KitchenAid combination oven-convection microwave wall unit from BestBuy. The microwave door closing action would often leave the interior light On. First visit by ABC repairman determined the door hinge was not operating correctly and the light switch needed to be replaced, all under warranty. The scope of this repair required the entire unit to be pulled out of the wall and an extensive dismantling and removal of the entire metal housing and many of the wiring harnesses to gain access to the hinges. Both hinges were replaced as was the wiring and light switch. This is much more complex than it sounds. No DIY here. The lead repairman was highly experienced and was extensively well trained. He knew the details of the dismantling and reassembly process to an exact degree. He used the this repair project to show his assistant several important actions he needed to perform during reassembly to avoid problems that would not be evident right away, but would have to be corrected to complete the work. His assistant learned some valuable tips and tricks to complete the work correctly the first time. In addition, he noticed several screws were missing from the original manufactures assembly as well as important grease lubrication. This team earned an A+.

We have waited over 11! weeks to have our KitchenAid fridge repaired. The reason we've been given from ABC is that the company was not able to get ahold of the needed part from Whirlpool. We figured it's not ABC's fault, and that all the other repair businesses would have the same issue, but when I finally went online to check, I found that the part is available for overnight delivery, and probably has been all this time...
The service department never followed up to let us know the status through out this time. I had to repeatedly call to get updated information.
They even told me to call Whirlpool myself to find out where the part was at. Since I was given the wrong phone and part number this was a complete waste of my time. I have to admit I was surprised that the SERVICE department even suggested this.
When we finally got a definite repair date, I called the day of to confirm, but then got the information that the part had not been delivered to them yet. ABC Appliance service department never bothered to contact us to cancel, but would have happily let us wait in vain.
This has frankly been the worst and most absurd experience I have ever had. -
Do not use this company! They were suppose to come out fix my refrigerator on a Monday and after waiting at home all day no one showed or called. I called and they guaranteed me that they would show up on the following Thursday and again, no one showed or called. My freezer is leaking and damaging my floor so I complained and they finally got someone out here the next day but when he showed, he didn't know how to fix it. He left and said he would be back in a few hours and never returned or called. Finally heard from him on Saturday in which he said he would be here the following Monday at 8am. You guessed, he never showed or called. They promised me that they will show up this afternoon but I'm not holding my breath. My protection plan is through them so I don't know what to do.

The repair technician (Ken) who was sent to my house to work on my dishwasher was pleasant and competent. He had an intern with him and took time to explain techniques and tips to him (and me). He gave me his personal cell # to call if there were any problems right away. I appreciate his helpfulness.

Please, if you have the option to use another company, DO! I didn't have a choice as this is the repair company my apartment complex utilizes. My washer needs repair and, so far, it's been scheduled five times.
First off, I have a dog. I asked, very clearly when we first attempted to schedule this, if my dog needs to be locked up on the day of the repair: no problem if she does, I just don't want to crate her all day if I don't have to. I'm told, very clearly, the guy loves dogs, it's fine to leave her out. Great! The apartment manager schedules the day.
Attempt #1 rolls around -- the repair tech is sick so we need to reschedule. Ok, it happens. But the scheduler calls me directly to reschedule, rather than call the apartment manager who originally set up the appointment. I can forgive this one -- maybe the manager told him to call me directly. I reschedule the repair for another day but tell him, very clearly, that I won't be home -- the tech MUST go through the front office to get access to the apartment. Attempt #2: the repair tech himself calls me saying he knocked on my apartment door and no one is answering. I tell the tech what I told the scheduler -- I'm at work, the apartment manager has to let him in, go to the front office. Turns out, front office staff wasn't in. So he calls me (again) and I tell him to have his scheduler call the manager directly to reschedule (again) so that this oversight doesn't happen again. Attempt #3! The manager calls me because the scheduler has called her: the job before my unit ran long so they need to reschedule -- again. Attempt #4! The repair tech calls me directly to say he's on his way to my unit. I tell him, in no uncertain terms, as I've stated before, I'm not at home, go to the front office to get access to the apartment. He calls me directly !AGAIN! five minutes later, because he's in the parking lot and doesn't see my unit number. I tell him !!!AGAIN! I'M. NOT. AT. HOME. GO. TO. THE. FRONT. OFFICE!!! Two minutes later, the apartment manager calls me. The tech won't set foot in my apartment because he's just learned there's an unsecured dog in the unit. I need to leave work to lock her up, or we have to reschedule -- again.
We'll see what adventures Attempt #5 brings. -
If you purchased an appliance from Lowes and expect it to be repaired by this company, be prepared! We are going on 3 weeks with no washing machine. Keep in mind our washing machine is only 2 years old. We have 3 kids and 3 dogs, and do laundry nearly every day. Does this company care? Absolutely not! Were told after our machine was looked at that parts were ordered, come to find out a week later, they hadn't been ordered! So frustrating. Lowes need to find a new warranty company.
