Appliance Repair reviews in Spokane, Washington

Really terrific service. James communicated well via phone and email, he was on time, he diagnosed the problem quickly, and he followed up with his parts department to identify the part number and even helped me save some money in the process. Appliance Hospital was recommended by Oldfield's in Eugene . Since I didn't personally know the person at Oldfield's who made the recommendation, I was a little apprehensive. It turned out to be a great experience and I would highly recommend Appliance Hospital.

The serviceman called about 1/2 hour before arrival to let me know he was on his way. When he got here I described the problem and showed him so he could hear the noise. Unfortunately, it was not fixable. It had to do with the turn table and this type of machine was made this way. The serviceman was very nice and he explained how we could extend the life of our other appliances. He was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this service company to others.

Appliance Hospital fixed our Samsung dishwasher. The appointment was arranged, I was called the day before with a 3 hour window and the service man came on time. He was honest about what was wrong and gave us options as to how best to fix it- at the lowest cost to us. We totally appreciated that. The dishwasher was fixed and we are happy customers.

Our service technician was very prompt and very efficient. He knew immediately what was wrong with our ice maker. The motor was bad, and he had it replaced within 10 minutes. Although we had to wait 1 week for the part, the service work was excellent.

Repair tech Chris lacked ability as well as knowledge. He would say he would call, text, or email but never do it. He is very nice but lacks professionalism. He should still be in training. He threw parts at a problem with weeks in between each part, then ordered the wrong part that was needed but didn't check it before he came out. Lack of experience is ok but lack of common sense is not.

Wow- where do I even start?
First off, getting in touch with anyone at this business is extremely difficult. It has taken hours and hours of my time to even get in touch with someone and schedule something as simple as an appointment. I waited over two months to have a technician come to see my dishwasher that was displaying an E9 error code (Bosch dishwasher). The parts were not readily available so the technician placed the order for them. (Fred's appliances places the order for parts before the first appointment). I then waited several weeks for the technician to do the repair. Mind you, I had the technician's mobile phone number and had to text him to schedule the appointments for me since no one answers the business's phone! He was very kind and willing to help me.
Fast forward to the repair day...the technician replaces the heating element (E9 code) and leaves. I do not believe he ran the dishwasher after to see if the code re-appeared or if all performed well because the moment I ran it later, an E11 code appeared. I texted the technician and told him about the code and be apologized and mentioned he would be back in several days to take a look. Fast forward several days- the original heating element part for the E9 code was defective. In the process of the technician checking the part, he broke the wire harness, meaning our dishwasher is now completely non-functioning. My problem is not with the technician, who was vey transparent about what happened and very much willing to fix it, and with a positive attitude. My problem is with the lack of management or frankly, humans, willing to speak to me and get the technician on the schedule to remediate this situation as quickly as possible. I have to wait two weeks for the technician to come back, when the parts are readily available in 0-3 days. I still can't manage to talk to anyone, after calling every number possible, and the technician is having to speak with the dispatcher to get me on the schedule. This entire situation has been bizarre and extremely inconvenient. I should have just purchased a new dishwasher to avoid this company entirely. It would have been worth it.
Who manages this branch here? Why haven't they reached out due to the hiccup? Why not try to make it right? Why is your only technician managing customer service and appointment booking? -
Service was on time and quick and efficient. The rep was very professional, polite, and respectful of our home. (As in wearing shoe covers) He explained what he was doing, why it was necessary, and what the completed results would be.
I would recommend the company with no hesitation, and give them very high marks.

The warranty on my fridge is through this company. Tech has called out sick 3 different times. They do not call to make you aware that they are not coming. Each time taking time off work. Do not answer the phone. Has been a battle for months. Only thing they are good at is not honoring appointments and service

I had a very positive experience with Scott the "appliance doctor" from this business. I got an appointment within two days, I wasn't upcharged for service in Cheney, he was on time, and the price was what I was quoted. It turns out what was needed was instruction and education for my tenants (and me). I often have a hard time selling tenants on the fact that they are doing something wrong and that is the problem with the appliance. Scott was very kind and persuasive and so far the problem hasn't returned.
Pro tip: too much conventional detergent will keep your high efficiency washing machine from finishing it's cycle. -
I was almost in tears for a week with not having a working dryer and 4 little kids and all the laundry. Sean and Olek showed up and saved the day! We are so happy with their work and they knew exactly what the problem was and explained it to us and fixed it. They were so friendly and experienced. Thank you!

My dishwasher was leaking due to an issue with the seal. They “fixed” it but less than 4 months later it leaks again and even worse. I went through my home warranty so they don’t consider me the customer (despite having to pay for a portion of their service, and me being the homeowner and the owner of the dishwasher) and they don’t stand by their work for more than 90 days (for their “customers” they provide a year warranty I was told). But I’m not the customer despite initiating the service and allowing them on my property to work on my property). They won’t even assess it without charging me. Do not recommend!!!! Update based on owner response: If you want to a repair on an appliance that lasts longer than 12 weeks, go somewhere else. Don’t count on this business to provide decent service.

I understand that in these unprecedented times we need to be flexible with our time and show understanding. I have lost count with how many times I have had to reschedule with this company. This last go round I was given a window of 12-3. At 3:30 I called the Spokane main office and was reassured the tech was at the house before mine and would be calling me before his arrival…4..5..6..7..8..no call no show. I lost 5 hours of work. No pay. After leaving multiple voicemails, finally a call back! I was informed the tech came down with health issues and was unable to make it. They apologized for the inconvenience. They are unable to offer a discount for the time I was left waiting because the parts are being covered by the manufacturers warranty. I think at this point it would have been cheaper to replace the appliance. I have another appointment set for Monday we will see if they come through.

Guy showed up late looked at our fridge and said he would be back weeks later. Weeks go by and the day he was supposed to be back. Never showed up. I called and got a voice message, left a message and they never returned the call. I understand having a lot of work but take the time to communicate! Super unprofessional and really question the knowledge they have. Don’t enjoy leaving a bad review but the lack of communication is unacceptable 👎

Knowledgeable techs. Very professional. Got an appointment within a couple of days. Reasonable service fee. Seem very honest and actually felt like the techs look out for my best intrest not high pressure repair sales on a lost cause. Highly recommend.

Been working on washing machine for so long and broken so we needed help and called Appliance Hospital. Everything was going good till we had to pay 128 dollars for him just looking at it and not even nothing else. He said we needed a new part went back then we waited 2 week just for them to tell us they couldn’t find the part. So we asked for refund and couldn’t even get our refund back. 120 down the drain they didn’t even tell us what part we needed.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They have the absolute worst customer service I have ever come in contact with in my life. After we had them out for a repair, we ended up with a water leak. A “supervisor”, came out, blamed our newer equipment and of course said it wasn’t their fault. Big surprise. For a month I have been calling and trying to get a hold of someone at their office. I have been hung up on, put on hold forever, and told a manager would call me back. All to leave us in the same position and fixing the damage ourselves. Very poorly run business.
I’m sure I’ll get the typical “manager” reply to my review. Save it, and don’t bother. It’s not like I can respond to it anyway. -
I highly recommend this service company. Corey was above and beyond with communication, knowledge, skill and politeness. He made sure my new dryer was up and working as it should have been originally and made a bad situation into a positive one. Really amazing serviceman.

I can say I’m really happy, I had another company come look at my fridge and after 400$ and 3 weeks later they could not fix it. So then I called appliance hospital and they sent Matt out and within a few days (waiting on a part to arrive) he had it up and running and today I woke up to a full container of ice made. I have always had great customer service and I’m happy I know who to call, so thanks again for the great service!

We had a dishwasher that was not working. Under warranty. The Technician came and was totally awesome. He took his shoes off, before entering the house…(not necessary but nice) Put in a new control and it works perfectly. He was awesome. I will update review with his name. Thank you so much!!!!!

The quality of the job depends on the tech you get. My husband and I have had them come to our house 3 times 2 for a dishwasher and once for a washer machine. First time with the dishwasher was great the tech fixed the clog and also shared some useful knowledge with us. He was also polite and friendly. The tech for the washer machine was able to diagnose it as much as I was but he was able to take it apart and remove the piece of clothing. He did not want to talk to my husband but he was nice to my children. This last time a few days ago was a different story. I told the dishwasher tech that there was a clog somewhere. He decided to pull my dishwasher out and flip it upside down (scraping my counter in the process) and connect a new part a new motor and told me that was the issue. My husband came out and asked him a few questions and I guess that was how he was diagnosing it but the motor we had before was a little worn but it still spins. He quoted us over $400. My husband brought up a clog somewhere and the tech said yea maybe it is in the air gap then proceeded to explain how to unscrew the hose for the air gap so we could check it ourselves, I'm pretty sure that is why he was here was to look at that and find the clog. Well after he left I unscrewed the air gap and the hose from the air gap and there was a rhinestone from one of my kids cups or something stuck in the air gap. Now the machine works perfectly! So if he would have sold us a motor my dishwasher still would not have worked and I had to do what he was called out to do.

Steven is courteous and super knowledgeable. He got the luxury of working on both the second and third replacement dryers sold by the local appliance experts. Two different part failures or an improper venting can cause the same symptoms and he recognized and explained what I needed to have the seller/installer correct the sloppy install after the seller’s service plan of just replacing parts didn’t work out. The office staff is fantastic!
