After two times and almost 500 dollars for american leak try to find leak in water line, I had to have someone else dig up my yard to find the leak and install a new line. Now out the money and got a mess for a yard.

The associate looked all through the house at the plumbing and outside of the house, and the water valve box. I asked them to look for moisture outside the house, also under the house and they seem to do a thorough inspection. He contacted me while doing this to discuss findings. Great communication, timely response.

I had some challenging leaks along a construction seam that required three visits to get the leaks completely stopped. I cannot give Kramer (the employee who did the work) high enough marks. He was skilled, hard working, diligent in the face of the challenges, professional and an all-around nice person.

American Leak Detection was prompt, professional, and thorough in locating and repairing my leak. Their inspection report was very detailed and was helpful in my conversation with the sprinkler company who didn't properly winterize my irrigation lines.

I live in polson mt could not find anyone local to detect a leak in my waterline these guys came from spokane about 4 hour drive and was so thankful that there proces were fair for coming so far! My water bill had tripled and I was in a pinch they came and flaged where the leak was detected so we could dig and repair before it got to cold. I was hopful and thankful at this point. We paid a backhoe service and we dug and dug in the area that was flagged and further each way we could not even find the water line in order to find the leak in the line. I then paid them to come back while the hole was exposed to help us again and still could not find the leak. Employees were all nice and were as bummed out as I was that there services didn't help and isn't usual according to them. I wasted about $1200 and got no where with my problem so was disappointed for sure but they did everything they could to help. I am now waiting till spring so I can just dig and replace the whole line.

I had a challenging leak to detect. It was a slow minor leak in my concrete slab for in-floor heat. The system was not operational at the time... Jordan did a good job at troubleshooting. We initially thought we had the leak narrowed down to a small area, but after about an hour after Jordan left he called and said he wanted to order new testing equipment to try and locate the leak better. Jordan returned for visit # 2 and he was able to pin point the leak to within an inch of the leak.

After a disappointing experience with American Leak Detection, I was left feeling frustrated and uncertain about resolving the leak issue in my home. Despite their efforts, they were unable to locate the leak, leaving me dissatisfied with their service. However, upon contacting Melex Leak Detection for assistance, my experience took a positive turn. In just one hour, Melex Leak Detection successfully found and identified the leak, exhibiting a level of professionalism and competence that was sorely lacking with American Leak Detection. If you're looking for reliable and effective leak detection services, I suggest skipping American Leak Detection and reaching out to Melex Leak Detection instead.

In response to your reply: your so-called “process” completely failed to find the leak—which is the one thing you were brought in to do. Clearly, there was a leak, as Melex found it quickly and without needing to cut into any drywall. So, minimizing damage wasn’t the issue—your process just didn’t work.

Also, the fact that my insurance company was “satisfied” with your report—are you serious? Of course they were! It benefits them not to pay for repairs. This makes me question why they’ve contracted with you in the first place. It almost seems like it’s in their best interest for you not to find leaks. Hmm.

Came out to our relatively more rural area in short notice, found the source of the leak, and allowed us to get it repaired quickly. Avoided us spending tens of thousands to tear up our front yard to find the leak much less the cost of repairs and restoration. Well worth the cost. And the company was great the whole way through - really good communication from the office; tech was also great. Would use them again, though I really hope we don’t have to!

Called the company to locate an underground leak. Our water lines are buried four feet deep and gave no indication of leakage on the surface. We were on a wait list to move up our appointment if there was a cancellation. Service was performed three weeks sooner than originally scheduled. Great! The leaking frost free hydrant was isolated and confirmed within 30 to 45 minutes of the technician’s arrival. I was not on site so my neighbor stood in for me. He said the technician was friendly, professional, and efficient. While the service is not cheap, it is vastly superior to the alternative of blindly digging up 200 feet of water line. Hopefully no more leaks, but I would absolutely use their services again if a leak is suspected.

Friendly office staff and technicians. We used American Leak Detection to find a pool leak and they discovered several leaks /holes in the liner. The holes were patched but the pool continues to leak. They are coming back out to try and find the additional problem areas. I will update this post based on the final resolution.
