Jon has been a faithful AC support person for years. Always friendly and informative. Never a problem.

Used Vanport in 2018 and was satisfied with the service and price.
Used again in 2024 and very disappointed with the service and price. They came out with a tech and trainee. Turns out I paid for the trainee based on the cost for a diagnostic. I paid the diagnostic fee and got someone else to finish the job.

Vanport serviced our furnace and air conditioner. Their price was reasonable, their representative, Damien, was polite, neat and careful. I can compare this with another company who charged way more and told me I needed a new air conditioner. What a difference an honest, fair priced company makes! Thank you for your service.

December 5th was cold when our wireless thermostat lost all communication with our furnace. I called Vanport with hope they could send someone out. Within 2 hours Jon was at our door. He listened, understood our problem and did not leave without our furnace working. Jon is knowledgeable of the heating/cooling system and went beyond what was expected to explain things and help us understand what we can do to keep our system running more efficient. Jon also has a wonderful sense of humor. It was a joy to have him in our home. Thank you Jon and Vanport.

I don't ever do these reviews. First of all, I don't like to give my email where people then continually sent me unwanted messages. Jon assured me that wasn't the case here. I hope that is true.

I was very pleased with Damian and Jon's service Jon has been our service person for years. He is always friendly, efficient, fair and a pleasure to have in your home. Damian is new to us but seems to be the same type of person. Please do not move Jon from our service person. He keeps us warm, cool and happy.

Always a great experience with Vanport Mechanical! We use them every year for our HVAC maintenance. Our furnace filters are an odd size, so we order replacement filters through Vanport, and they are usually ready to pick up within one business day. Highly recommend!

Vanport saved the day!!!! After having issues all summer with my heat pump and beyond frustrated with another HVAC company recommending I replace my 5 year old heat pump, I decided to give Vanport a call to get a 2nd opinion. Sooooo thankful I did! They were able to send Damian out and he was able to recognize and diagnose the issue right away! At a 1/3 of the cost the other company quoted me for a repair! He even offered to drive to Portland that day for me to pick up the motor! He ended up coming out yesterday to do the installation. And I’m happy to report the heat pump is back up and running beautifully. He and John also did my maintenance and cleaning while they were here so that I’m all set until Spring! Thank you for being there Vanport!

Damian B visited today to fix our AC system. He did it in a remarkably efficient way while explaining exactly what he was doing, the nature of the problem and my alternatives for the fix. Perfect work. I have lived in many locations over my professional career. He is the #1 home service technician. So very personable. It was a great experience. He earned the "tip" we gave him. Definitely will call Vanport in the future and ask for Damian.

Tyler is such a great professional. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and timely. I would definitely use his services in the future and recommend him to anyone needing fire sprinkler work done.

Great folks, they came out and looked at my residential system. The type of install was not typical so they helped find a plumber that was able to fix it. Other contractors I contacted would not even come out. They could have not bothered but took the time to follow up, very professional team!

This is the company who installed this system in my house to replace the far less efficient system. They are the only ones I let touch my system because they are so good. John set up the system originally and still comes to do the annual checks and adjustments. As far as I am concerned, there is not anyone better, both company and technicians. I do not usually leave reviews, but I not only did they find an efficient system I could afford, but have the experienced, knowledgeable and capable staff that are all friendly and helpful. They treat your equipment like it's theirs and you like you are part of the family. I will NEVER go anywhere else! This is NOT a paid review. Originally Town & Country (residential part of Vanport then reorganized some time ago) rates the highest in my book on how a company should treat a customer. I must admit, though, I am far from unbiased and consider them friends.

We needed a furnace repaired and Vanport sent out Jon. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. He explained what was wrong and then fixed it. He gave us advice on how to care for our system and answered all our questions. I will definitely use them going forward.

Had a fantastic experience with VanPort today. The Technician, Tyler S, was an exceptional problem-solver and communicator and quickly resolved a water leak. Very grateful for Tyler’s skillful experience!!

If you are looking for a trustworthy company I would highly recommend not just Vanport but Jon Jeffries specifically. Jon came out and quickly diagnosed the issue and has our AC running stronger than ever. He even explained what the issue was, why it happened and how it gets fixed. I will be recommending Jon to any family or friends.

Backflow testing, fire sprinkler system, repairs, testing - Vanport does it all! Jake inspected/tested our fire sprinkler system. He was incredibly patient and helpful. He is an asset to your company and I would recommend your company to others!

We had several issues with this company! First the technician showed up to do the service and said he couldn't get in while we were all here, then came in 90-mins after his scheduled time and was super rude in front of our customers. Then when we got the bill it was 27% higher than our bill 3 months earlier and when speaking to the Controller I was told "we're lucky we got such good pricing the first time, and they went through a rate increase." Zero heads up, zero explanation, zero compassion for a surprise 27% increase! HIGHLY recommend using someone else!

Vanport has been taking care of our heating system for quite a long time and we wouldn't choose anyone else. Jon is usually the one to come out, and his expertise is always apparent. He fixes issues quickly and I really appreciate how he explains things. I've also been really impressed with Tiffany. She always gets us scheduled right away, in fact quicker than I ever really expect! Vanport is the best!
