They were very quick to respond to my request for help with a pipe that came apart under my kitchen sink, and the bill for the work was very reasonable. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and personable, I highly recommend this company!

We experienced great service for replacement of our main water line. Eli was excellent to work with in securing a temporary water source and putting the final touches on the main water line. He is kind, patient and explains what to expect as the project progresses. This was very helpful at a time you are at someone's mercy to address a utility problem.

Quick to set everything up. Get a contract out and take our deposit than ask us for more money because they forgot about a new regulation. Say they will show up Thursday. We get a call Wed morning saying they are on their way and had to move us up. They don't finish and say they will be back Friday....guess they filled in our original Thursday appointment. Friday they say they have to finish another job....they will be back Monday. So the trash sits on our lawn all weekend. They show up Monday at 11am work an hour and go on lunch for an hour, get back and stand around chatting and smoking for 45min. They finish take our money and go before we even check anything. And down below is the work they charged $8000 for. Plastic instead of fiberglass, holes in the walls, didn't remove the moldy tile underneath. Didn't even bother with a curtin setup. Will be contacting the better business bureau.

Good work but absolute rip off in price. 30 min in work and 50 in materials cost 1200 dollars for a temp line after they kept canceling our repair appointment. Decided to do the repair myself after deciding 5800 to put in a 20ft pex a pipe wasn't worth it considering I can that myself. It seems like you are paying for the warranty and not the actual work.

So upset by the service that Sarkinen Plumbing provided to my 80 year old Mom! They charged her over six hundred dollars to change the guts in the tank, left her house and the toilet continued to run.
Sarkinen would not come back and fix it if she wasn't going to pay them more. When she called a local plumber, they found that Sarkinen had left the piece of carboard pictured below in the tank. She was pressured heavily by the Sarkinen plumber who came to her home, to spend three thousand dollars because of the 'high pressure' in her tank. That piece of cardboard was left on purpose so that they could tell her she needed the more expensive work done. Local plumber removed the cardboard and the toilet works perfectly now. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

Sewer Line Repair with Minimal Yard Damage – Great Experience with Sarkinen Home Services

During a house inspection, I was informed that a section of my sewer line leading to the street was broken and needed replacement. Unfortunately, the break was located in a beautifully landscaped area of our yard, and I was very concerned about the potential damage to our plants, sprinklers, and lawn.

I called Marco at Sarkinen Home Services for a second opinion. Out of all the bids I received, Marco was the only camera technician who offered a practical alternative to tearing up our yard with a backhoe. His solution was to use a Vactor hydro excavation truck, which would minimize damage to the landscape.

We decided to hire Sarkinen, and their team handled everything from start to finish. They coordinated with all utility companies to locate underground gas, power, telecommunications, sewer, storm, and water lines ahead of time.

On the day of the repair, both technicians arrived on time, in uniform, and in clearly marked work vehicles. They were professional, courteous, and explained the entire procedure before getting started. They got right to work, completed the repair efficiently, and left our yard clean and free of any debris.

After the service was complete and paid for, I had a few follow-up questions. Marco responded immediately, came out in person to address my concerns, and even re-scoped the repaired area. He allowed me to watch the live camera feed and later sent me a copy of the video for my records.

I highly recommend Sarkinen Home Services—especially if you're looking for a sewer repair solution that protects your landscaping and comes with excellent customer service!

Dustin and Tanner replaced my kitchen faucet. They brought me 3 different faucets to chose from. It was a tricky installation as they had to make the hole in the lower cabinet under the sink larger. They reinstalled my instant hot water and left the area spotless! Great job !!

We had a relatively poor experience with Sarkinen plumbing recently. The service tech came and diagnosed our toilet with a leak; even though they had fixed the problem 2 years ago, since it had been more than a year, the warranty wouldn't cover it. We reluctantly agreed to have them proceed, and signed for a wax seal replacement. About 5 minutes in, the tech realized the diagnosis was incorrect, and was simply a loose knob on the toilet. The entire fix was resolved in less than 2 minutes. However, they still insisted we pay the full $500. I countered that we agreed to pay for a wax seal replacement, and the work was not done. After several calls to the home office a manager agreed to reduce the cost to the $250 service charge. Really? We asked for a quote, and were disappointed that the warranty wouldn't cover and even after an incredibly quick fix, still had to fight for a reasonable solution. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the service tech was very nice, seemed like he mostly was struggling to get approval from the home office who clearly don't care about customer loyalty. Needless to say, we won't be using their services again.

DO NOT STAND BY WORK. NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!!

Received our water bill and noticed a large increase. Meter at the curb indicated a water leak. My husband checked under the house and everything was good. Sarkinen came out to find the leak from curb to house. They stated thwre was a leak. After 3 1/2 hours of searching, the plumber mapped and marked the area of leak. Gave a quote and left. My husband dug the area to the pipe under ground and there was absolutely no leak. My husband called and explained there was no leak in the area the plumber mapped. They informed us they could come back out at $200 each hour to find the leak. The cost was already $700 for NOTHING!!

We requested a call back from someone and was told management would return our call. 2 weeks and still no call back.
Horrible, unprofessional, not trustworthy. Not a true craftsman who stands by their work.

We ended up digging our line and found the leak close to the house. Over 20 feet from the mapped area where the plumber stated the leak was. What a waste of money and time.
Would never recommend this company.

I called with a kitchen sink that has water coming out under it into the cabinet. He drained the sink in the kitchen and it seemed ok. Less than a day later it leaks again. I called and the said they had sent a drain technician not a plumber who could look at garbage disposal all that he is able to do is use a snake. He used a coupon for 49 dollars and charged me an extra 60 something for some blue liquid he said would keep it clear. The worse part he stood around like he wanted me to give him a tip. After telling me he gets 10 dollars extra for every review and made 500 in one week from reviews alone that’s almost my entire paycheck. Just in his tips. Not only do I not have a working sink I am out 121 dollars and I still need to find a licensed plumber! I told the lady in the phone why if it’s a kitchen sink would you not send someone who can look at garbage disposal and the whole system. She mentioned they don’t have anyone on staff that knows how to do all plumbing!!!

Dustin Ell replaced a hose bib at my house. He was fast, liked my dogs, and wore a mask as I requested. No complaints.

Dustin and Tanner did an outstanding job replacing my grandpa’s water heater. They were both extremely respectful, professional, and took great care to keep everything super clean during and after the job. It’s not every day you see that level of attention to detail and pride in their work. My grandpa was very happy with how smoothly everything went. Had a VERY pleasant experience with Sarkinen. Matthew was incredibly nice and helpful in spite of us finding out (the hard way) that the previous owners left WIDE OPEN PEX LINES IN THE CEILING. I recently hired JAM Plumbing PDX for a water heater installation in Portland, OR, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Julio was professional, on time, and explained everything clearly before starting the job.

Very happy with the Sarkinen membership inspections. Very professional, friendly service team. Travis made sure there was no pressure and showed a Google search result as a backup to his recommendation. Joe Diaz was very thorough in the HVAC inspection, changed filters, and cleaned the inside and outside of our heater and mini-split. Both gentlemen were very polite. Our crawl space service rep reported the crawl space in good condition, with no service recommendations needed, which secured the integrity of these inspections. I will use this company for services in the future.
