Plumbing reviews in Vancouver, Washington

I have been a fan and Customer for over 25 years. Today I became even a bigger fan. I went in with some parts and pieces that I bought 6 to 8 months ago, and told him I just wanted them out of my garage, and would be happy with whatever I could get. Store credit, refund, just take them back. They were able to look up my purchases from eight months ago, and gave me a full refund, more than I expected, and they were gracious the whole time. Thank you to James and everyone else.

Amazing customer service!! Went looking for a fix for my shower faucet, what I thought was a good idea, just happened to be something that wouldn’t work, the gentleman in the front of the store walked back, got the parts, showed me how to fix the problem, which happened to be $25 cheaper. They make you feel at home and everyone says Hi and then waves at you when you leave. I had spent 40 mins prior at Home Depot that was a waste of time, no one I came in contact with could help me. Thank you for your years of service and hope many more to come!!

I went in today for the first time. I am working on a project that was going to require some specialty and unusual items.
After waiting at the customer service counter, I watched Dude take care of two customers before me and he was Mr HowCanIHelpYou with them. When it came to my turn -- I was prepared with a drawing and a pretty solid idea of what I needed, just needed help finding the parts, and had a couple of questions...
Dude suddenly acted like I was a major inconvenience... No customer should EVER be made to feel that way.
I gathered my self up and took my business to the big box store down the street... at least there I'm treated like a valued customer.
What I can't get there, I'll buy from Amazon... my effort to buy local was NOT an amazing experience. -
My first time coming to this store and was blown away by the service I was promptly greeted and grab a number. Jason asked how he could help as I pulled the number. I had a leak in my facet and shut off valves. Additionally I needed to add in a water line. Jason took the time to explain how to install and what may or may not go wrong. He also gave me several options for products at different price points to fit my budget. Jason helped insure me that I could handle the project and did not need to spend unnecessary money in a plumber. It’s not very often as a women going into an improvement store, that I am not made to feel less capable and I am so grateful Jason was there and was able to help and ensure I am capable of completing this project. I will be back!!

I went to Home Depot searching for parts and advice… and then wandered in the vast maze like a waif in the wilderness, a penguin in a pig pen, a liberal in the south. You think you see help in the distance but as you run towards him, he vanishes into the distance like a mirage and you are tempted to fall to the floor and sob.
Then, when you finally find a representative, it soon becomes obvious that they don’t know diddly in a doghouse. It’s so wrong that your eyes glaze over and the sound coming out of their mouths sounds like moose toots on a muggy day.
So I take the same problem to Grovers and the guy glances at the miserable beat up piece of junk in my hand and says, Moen. Old. You need this special tool (that the people at HD have never even heard of).
And I say what about this other electrical problem? And he says, oh yeah… over here.
Is that celestial singing I hear rising like the full moon over a fairy lake? Is that like the whisper of an Angel?
I’m back and forth about six times and someone answers every question and has every answer. I’m tempted to ask them about my lumbago and if they have any tips on the stock market.
I’m a professional… I should know this. What do you do when you need help? You. Go. To. A. Professional!!! -
I've been here twice, and both times that had the parts I needed to repair my plumbing. The people totally know their products (it's not like Lowes or Home Depot). They saved me hours of work and frustration because of the parts they had.

Your guy saved my ass! If I could give more stars I would

Great customer service from Jerry helping me with adapters for my fish tank syphon so it can hook up to the bathroom sink

The people were very helpful, and we got exactly what we were looking for.

Special thank you and shout out to Jason for going above and beyond to help me fix a broken pipe on my tankless hot water heater! He even put the pieces together and explained what I needed to do on my end once I got home. Saved me from having to fire a plumber. THANK YOU JASON!

I go to Grover for all of my plumbing and electrical needs. They have great customer service.
-
Came in because my husband is installing our new kitchen appliances with a shopping list of: big nuts, a weird fitting, and long tubing. Jerry is the man! He deciphered the code and had me out in less than 5 minutes! Talk about an incredible store and employee. 6 stars!

Amazing employees and great selection of items! They really try to help which is especially useful when you’re a homeowner trying to fix something yourself. Highly recommended!

As a service plumber i can always count on Grover’s to provide me with the proper parts. Never ceases to amaze me when I show them a picture of a 30 year old shower valve or faucet and they direct me to exactly the parts I need! Exceptional customer service with very knowledgeable staff!

I drive past a Home Depot, and a Lowes on my way here every time I go. It's further out of the way but it's 100% worth it. Staff are absolutely fantastic if you need help, truly feels like talking to experts. They embrace you doing your DIY, and help make sure you get everything you need for the job. I've also called them with questions before and they're super helpful then too. Truly Grover is one of Vancouver's treasures as a local business. If you haven't yet, please give them a try.

Grover is still a great store that knowledgeable people are there to help you. Thanks!

Very knowledgeable and well stocked. My example:
I needed to replace the "guts" in my Delta shower faucet. I don't know what model faucet, and there are lots of different models of Delta faucets on their website. I could only see the part that stuck out the front. Well, I took a couple pictures and showed them to one of the guys at this store. He said sure and walked right to a maze of bins and had the parts in hand before I caught up to him. -
We live out in rural Clark County, & the company that installed our well pump & pressure tank 20 years ago sent us a letter offering to inspect our system for a small fee. We made the appointment, paid the fee, & they inspected everything & found that the pressure tank had failed. The quote they sent us was around $3600, but they also suggested to us that we should replace the pump also which they had not tested. We went into Grover's, showed them our estimate & told them we just wanted to start with the pressure tank replacement. We purchased it for $800 in stock. The salesman (Jerry) gave us excellent guidance on installation & told us how to check our pump to see if it was operating properly which was super simple. Our pump is in great shape, the new pressure tank was installed in 5 hours (of which half the time was spent emptying the old one), & we cannot thank Grover's (and Jerry) enough. Everyone there was super friendly, very knowledgeable, & we are grateful to have Grover's in our community! Thank you Grover's!!!

Fantastic customer service!!! What? In 2025? Corporate went over and beyond to help. I was looking for a part that wasn't available but Caleb, researched it and found another alternative. When I went into the local, Medford, OR store, he had it ready and waiting on the counter!! Thank you Grover for making it easy to shop here!

My dad always shopped at Grover and I’m keeping the tradition. Great customer service and knowledge from their staff. I’d rather spend a buck more here than shop at a big box store.
