I called R & R Flores Plumbing among others to request for quotes for replacing a kitchen sink. Rich and I scheduled May 1st, for a complimentary inspection for him to give me a quote. He quoted me $345 and said that "the soonest he may be available was maybe Friday." I replied that I was not in a rush and that I was still waiting for other bids and quotes. He said that was no problem and just give him a call when I'm ready or if I decide not to move forward with using him.
On May 4, after dropping off my kids at their schools, I came home to a van branded with Emerald Plumbing blocking my driveway/garage, a strange man talking on the phone in my kitchen, and pipe pieces lying on the counter and floor.
He deliberately ignored me to keep talking on his phone. When he finally got off, he said he was Scott from Emerald Plumbing and that Rich had sent him because Rich got another job in Portland.
I told him that I didn't have an appointment set with Rich.
Me: "I was not informed of that and we never scheduled. He only told me that he 'maybe' have Friday available. I believe there's some kind of mistake. I see that you've already taken some pipes out. How would you like to handle this? I'm sure you're a great plumber but I am expecting someone else to come take a look this afternoon, just as I told Rich that I'm still waiting for more bids/quotes. I'm not sure how this error happened but I'd like to be respectful to you and handle this as respectfully as possible."
Scott: "Your husband accepted it."
Me: "Oh. Um...no, he's my ex. He's only over to visit the kids before his week-long trip. This is my house. You're saying he agreed to have you work on the sink?"
Scott: "Yeah! Took my card and everything."
My ex was on an important call so I wasn't able to clarify with him, so Scott proceeded. I later found out that my ex never accepted.
Scott didn't have all the necessary equipment and needed to borrow my vacuum. He said the new sink was bigger so he had to cut my counter to make things fit.
As he mangled with the vacuum, I scrambled to put away as much stuff as possible that was on the counter. It didn't look like he was going to put up any plastic drapes and sure enough, he didn't. He held the tube end of the vacuum next to his compact circular saw and sawed away. Clouds of dust puffed up. After maybe 2 or 3 minutes, he yelled over his saw about the vacuum not working.
He said I should know how to fix my vacuum since I am the vacuum owner. My ex eventually came down and asked why the vacuum was in our driveway. He went over to look and found paper towel clogging the vacuum, which Scott later admitted that he "may have" vacuumed in the paper towel.
It took most of the day and I had to eventually take the day off. All the while he required that both my ex and I help out when he was the professional (one that wasn't even hired except due to a misunderstanding and him lying about us accepting the job). Throughout the experience he was condescending and insulting in the way he spoke with both of us. After he left almost 8 hours later, I spent the rest of the day and the next morning cleaning and mopping all the dust and debris.
On May 6, I called R & R Flores to tell them what happened. Rich didn't pick up so I left a voicemail. Shortly after, I got a voicemail from Scott saying Rich mentioned I called, to call him (Scott) back instead.
Not only did Rich give out my home address and info without my permission to a stranger when we didn't have a firm appointment scheduled, he ended up giving this guy my phone number, too.
On May 7, I called Rich again and was finally able to get through. I explained what happened, how my privacy was violated, how I was disrespected, my home was a mess, and requested Rich to compensate for the way things were mishandled. He asked what I wanted and I wasn't sure so I told him I'd follow up. I left a message asking him to compensate for all the issues on May 11 but never heard back. -
Arranged to have R&R Flores Plumbing come out to unclog a clog laundry room down pipe, but for a variety of reasons were not able to do the work. Gave me a recommendation for another, larger firm with bigger equipment. Very personable and helpful. Will call again.

I was in a real pickle after trying to replace my own outdoor water faucet and breaking the pipe. It was a Saturday afternoon, so most places were closed. Rich came out right away and fixed everything. It didn't take him long, he had the parts with him already, and the price was reasonable. Plus he was a really friendly guy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend R&R Flores Plumbing to my friends.

I used R & R Flores Plumbing this week on a remodel I'm doing him price was 10 to 15 % less then the other bids i got as well as he was there the next day to do the job. His work was great even the inspector told me so. I would recommend him to anyone needing plumbing for a fair price. Work was exceptional and very nice guy.

I had R&R do the rough in plumbing on a remodel job. He did an excellent job, we are very pleased with his work. Prior to doing any work he walked me through the plumbing layout and answered all my questions. He then worked with me over the next couple days to get the project completed on time, and he was there for the city inspection and ensured that it passed first time around. Highly recommended, awesome guy!

Amazing! I am so thankful for R&R Flores Plumbing! Richard was wonderful, he came out within an hour of my call, ON A WEEKEND! I had tried for hours, was physically done, and was getting no where. Richard came out, explained to me what he was doing as he was doing it, which was wonderful, because I had a better understanding of what happened to cause the issue and how to fix it. He was able to fix the clog and I have had absolutely no problems since. It would not have been fixed without him. Definitely best service when it comes to plumbing I have ever received! I HIGHLY recommend R&R Flores Plumbing to everyone!

I have hired R & R Flores Plumbing in the past and they did a wonderful job to repair my toilet this time. First, Rich is concerned about the customer's satisfaction and he proved it on this job too. He determined my flushing mechanism needed to be replaced and he did it quickly. Sadly, that part wasn't properly working, so he honored my request for replacing it with the exact same device that originally came with my toilet that he originally first installed years ago. Problem solved to my satisfaction. He is a courteous, conscientious and quick worker who truly cares about his work and his customer's satisfaction. I very highly recommend Rich Flores for your plumbing needs.

Good service and a quick response on a last minute repair. Dave worked in the dark and rain until 11pm to get the job done.

I found my plumber. Dave is awesome. He was at my door 1/2 hour after my call on a Saturday night. His prices are outstanding and he knows his stuff. ++++

VERY NEGATIVE PERSON!!! (DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN!) He is not professional at ALL, he leaves his mess behind, and when you call him to tell him that he left his mess he gives you bad attitude. I called and told him that he left his mess behind and he tells me that he gave me the best deal around, so in other words he is telling me (what am i complaining about?) He is basically telling me to pick it up myself, because he said I gave you the best deal in town.( Im thinking to myself I'm too old to be picking up messes my kids are all grown up). If he was professional he would clean it up himself. I had him come out and he shows up in this gray Toyota Yaris towing a dumpy trailer behind it, and it sounds like a lawn mower. FOR (one) let me stop you right there. When I talked to him on the phone he said that there was TRUCKS and US, and he shows up in a clown car??? With a trailer??? whit just himself. I'm like who is this joker pulling up to my house?? OH its DAVE THE PLUMMER He has no UNIFORM OR MARKINGS on his CAR resembling that he is a professional licensed BUSINESS and I thought to myself I know DAM well I DID NOT CALL ANY CLOWN OFF CRAIGSLIST. I also believe that Most of his parts are used, and that is why he makes it seem like your getting a deal. he has poor people skills. I rate this guy an no star!

I called NW Plumbing Services on Sunday evening around 6 pm. We had a an emergency with both of the showers in our home (both were leaking). He did answer the phone, and when I explained that we had a plumbing emergency, I was informed that he would NOT be coming out tonight, and, "there was no such thing as a plumbing emergency.'"
He informed me that if it was an emergency, the city would come out and shut our water off.
I let him know that we didn't have showers in our home at the current moment, so it was an emergency to us. I asked him for a referral for someone who would be available to look at our showers that night.
He told me, "I don't do referrals, but I can try to make some time to come out later in the week."
At that point, I told him I didn't need his services, and that I would be calling another plumber, because to us, NOT being able to shower before going to work counts as an emergency. I called Sarkinen Plumbing, and they took care of us.,
I would NOT recommend using this plumber. -
Dave is a hard worker with very reasonable prices who ended up saving me alot of money based on quotes I'd received from other plumbers in town. He is however also extremely rude, belligerent and completely lacking in social graces of ANY sort. If the price he was charging me hadnt been so reasonable I would have fired him 2/3 of the way through the job just for being insulting and uneccessarily unkind. Would I hire him again (since I gave him 4 stars here)? My answer would be only if my skin was thick enough that day and I was really strapped for cash.
Do keep in mind, that the job I had him out to do was not a fun one (if plumbing jobs ever are). He had to spend a couple of hours in a cramped crawlspace installing a tee into my main water line for a central water filter. The entire job took him many hours to do. I'll possibly give him the benefit of the doubt for this review and hope that his behavior was just due to not having a good day. -
Very rude and unprofessional! I asked him to replace two leaking faucets in my bathroom. He bought the parts from Lowes and replaced the old ones. However, the new faucets still leak. He spent long time to fiddle with them but couldn't stop the leak. He then grew agitated and started to complain how bad the Moen design was. Eventually he left without being able to fix the leak. I had to call Moen myself to order the new cartridges and install them. Evidently he didn't buy the correct parts for my faucets. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone!

Dave is the Most Honest, Caring Service Tech I have ever used. Trouble is, everyone wants him, and thus, he is hard to catch. But, if you can, there is no other plumber or plumbing company that can match his knowledge, is work ethic, or his way-more-than-fair price structure. Dave is, without a doubt, "The Best".

Dave answered my call late in the day when my Home Insurance company and the plumbers they hire couldn't be bothered to contact me back. He quoted me an exceptionally fair price and came later in the evening, even though he had worked a full day. Unfortunately, he got more than he bargained for. My house is old and the clog was very difficult to reach through the pipes. He had to climb under the crawl space, then try to snake the drain from my roof, and then dismantle the pipes under the sink. He did all of this at night. He went above and beyond what any other plumber would do but did not take advantage of my obvious panic in order to make more money. He provided excellent service with kindness, honesty, and integrity. Can't recommend him enough.

Dave got it done. He's an honest guy who was very good at explaining what he was doing and why. He never talked down and was very affordable. He showed up when he was supposed to and did extra work, at my request, for very little extra money. Not only did he root out the clog in my sink drain, he replaced a leaky strainer and did it all in a relatively clean and fast manner. I would certainly call him again for further plumbing work.
-
Dave is awesome!. He came right over and surveyed the plumbing job I had. Asked me enough question to ensure I get what I wanted. The next day he was over working on the job and finished in a timely manner. Dave is a seasoned plumber that cares about the quality of his work and the quality of the products he uses. I will call on him again.

We used NW Plumbing to replace our kitchen faucet. Dave Baxter did not do the job properly the first time so we asked him to come back to correct his work. Unfortunately, I was at work when he returned to correct his sloppy work so Dave took the opportunity to be rude and insulting to my wife. So much so that I would have thrown him out of my house if I had been home - job complete or not! He also failed to properly clean up after himself. We have never experienced such rude and unprofessional behavior from a contractor. It amazes me that the man is still in business. I only give him one star because that is the minimum allowed. I discourage anyone from using his services.
-
Dave is great and easy to work with. He has done new toilet seal rings, sink basket replacement and most recently a full kitchen sink hook up with garbage disposal at my house. His prices are good. You know when you call that you are getting him and that he has a lifetime of experience rather than someone that maybe only has 1-2 years of experience.(or less) That is important for me to know I am getting a seasoned plumber working in my home. I am recommending him to anyone who asks!

WOW I love my new lavatory sink.
Thanks Pat for doing a very nice job for us. -
We have used M5 and they never disappoint! Quality and professional. I would highly recommend them.
