Could not recommend this company more! We called for a furnace repair and had a technician at our door within hours. The technicians were prompt, professional, and very educational. We ended up needing to replace our furnace, and they kindly guided us through the process every step of the way, at a very reasonable price! Everyone we spoke with was so kind, and took care of us as though we were family. They had a new furnace installed within days from our first service call and made sure we were as warm as could be until the job was finished. You will be in good hands with these folks!!!

I've gotten consistently excellent service from Gross Heating since purchasing a new furnace from them about a year ago. The sales process was hassle free and not pushy at all, the install went smoothly and as discussed, and my first regularly scheduled maintenance appointment just finished up. Everyone I've worked with from sales, to scheduling and technicians have been warm, professional, knowledgeable and kind. I'd recommend them to anyone in the market for a new furnace and will definitely make them my first call when my really old A/C unit finally kicks the bucket!

Had new central A/C installed today by Brad and James. They were knowledgeable, efficeint and courteous. Gross had installed my furnace 11 years ago and have done regular maintenance on my heating and A/C since; always great service and value.

I had an entire new gas furnace, AC and humidifier installed by Gross last week. I had used this company for my hvac maintenance for years so when it came time to purchase a new system I knew who I could trust. Brad, James and Bill arrived on time and actually finished early, I don’t think they even took a break. They were friendly and made sure I knew how everything worked before they left. Everything was installed professionally and cleaned up/ disposed of when the work was completed. I am very pleased. I highly recommend Gross!

We moved to Wauwatosa about 4 years ago into an almost 100-year-old house with hot water radiator heat and AC unit in the attic that only cooled the 2nd floor – both systems very different from our previous house. We started by using the HVAC company the previous owners had used but we were not completely satisfied with some of the work they had done. Gross Heating & Air was recommended to us and we have been so pleased with their service!! Not only do they do a great job with seasonal maintenance, but last year we also had them put in a heat pump to replace the AC unit in the attic and Joe was able to figure out how to get AC down to the first floor (especially the kitchen which has made such a difference!). This year Joe helped us again with a plan for replacing and moving our hot water heat boiler and cleaning up a mess of hot water heat pipes in our basement to clear the way for some electrical work. Every technician who has been to our house has been extremely pleasant and professional! We apologize that we do not remember the names of the individuals who worked on the heat pump installation, but they were wonderful as were Randy who has been here a couple of times for maintenance and Mike K, James & Owen who just completed this boiler project in our basement. Thank you all so much – we are so very pleased with the results!!!

We have used Gross Heating & Air Conditioning for the past 10 years at several of our homes. They have constantly been professional, punctual, and always willing to roll up their sleeves to help when necessary. Our service technician Randy is pleasant, and always willing to show us how to take care of our equipment and what to look for if anything were to come up. The owner himself just installed our brand new air conditioner in our 100 year old home and took the time necessary to make sure it was perfect along with his crew. We highly recommend Gross!

From selling to the install, Gross Heating did an excellent job. When Jeff first came to the house to give us a quote, he was very accommodating and laid out all the options so we could make our best selections for a new furnace and a/c.
The installers arrived on time. The first thing they told me was that they were working for me and their job that day was to keep me happy and they did! The install itself went very smoothly overall. Mike explained how to operate the equipment to us in terms we could understand. The job site was thoroughly cleaned up before they left. I called the office to arrange for payment and the office staff member was very cordial. Everyone in the company behaved professionally and are just nice people. Gross Heating did an excellent job and I highly recommend them.

I was referred to Gross Heating and air conditioning by my realtor. I had a different company come out before to check on my furnace and they tried to sell me a furnace. Jerry was at our house within 2 1/2 hours to repair our AC. We decided to replace our AC and furnace since both were probably 15 years old and having issues. The following week Brad, Daniel and Joey came to install our new system including an air purifier. They were very pleasant, very professional and did a great job installing and cleaning up. During the installation they saw that the filter in our old Aprilaire needed to be replaced and popped a new filter in without us even asking! The cost for the entire system was in the mid range. Super service!

Fast and friendly and quick to fix. It’s blazing hot out and these guys came same day to help us out and didn’t tell us we needed a new compressor. They fixed the capacitor. We are no longer melting. We will continue to use them!

My daughter and son-in-law had Gross out this morning for a service call. I’m sorry I didn’t get the gentleman’s name but he was friendly, professional, gave a clear explanation of what needed to be done - all while working around the Monday morning chaos going on. I would highly recommend Gross heating. I have had an ongoing issue with my infloor heating since it was installed four years ago by ProServ. Our Boiler manufacturer NTI reccomended calling Gross Heating for a second opinion. They were fantastic. Great knowledge. Great expertise.

Jessie has over 20 years with the company. He and and the team did an outstanding job on the Boiler replacement. Our old system was 62 years old when it died. At the end of the install and during the initial system startup, we had a frozen pipe burst. It happens. Jessie made a call and extra vans showed up and repaired it within hours.
The people working for this company are great.

A shout-out to Gross Heating & Air Conditioning
While we were out of the city, the pipes and the radiators in our historic home froze and cracked. Unbeknownst to us, we faced a real tragedy.
We learned about the tragedy from neighbors and immediately informed Gross Heating. They went into action and removed more than 30 radiators while they were still frozen. Had they not done it so quickly, the radiators water throughout our house, damaging our home while we were away, and the home could probably never have been fully repaired.
They also took quick action to restore temporary heat in the house so the water pipes didn’t freeze as well!
It was a complex project, but they successfully replaced every radiator. It also required them to perform asbestos abatement, which is a very challenging task.
They upgraded the heating system to an efficient boiler, and we will be forever grateful.
Their quick action, professional competence, and fair pricing saved the day for us and our historic home.
If there were a Hall of Fame for Great Heating companies that do HVAC servicing, maintenance, and repair, they would lead the list!

Gross Heating and Air Conditioning have been great! Started when my furnace stopped working and it was only in the 20s outside. They came out the same day I called and were able to help me! From there, I learned that my furnace was very old (recently just bought my house) and they came out to give me a free quote and options. I ended up calling them back and they got me scheduled the day I requested to get a new furnace! The technicians were all very nice from service, to the quote to the new furnace install. They worked quickly, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after they were complete with the job as if they weren’t even there! Definitely recommend them and I will continue to use them as they are trustworthy and reliable!
