My old furnace died Saturday night. Today, my new furnace was installed! From my very first distressed phone call placed after hours on Saturday night, to the very last moments with the installation techs today, my interaction with Gross Heating has been exceptional.

Michelle, Randy, Nels, Greg, Colton, Mike, Cody and MJ all performed their jobs with a level of customer service rarely seen anymore. While each of these persons played a different role, (all significant), each made sure the process was efficient and seamless. Their attention to detail and focus on customer satisfaction was their end goal every step of the way.

I had used Gross for years maintaining my previous HVAC system, so when I needed service I knew exactly who to call! I will continue to use Gross Heating for all regular maintenance on my new system! Thank you for your exceptional service, and commitment to excellence! I highly recommend Gross!!

We use Gross Heating & Air Conditioning each year to service both our furnaces and air conditioners. Their technicians are always professional, work quickly and efficiently and often offer tips and suggestions for both heating and cooling. At our fall service appointment, the technician -- Randy -- cleaned and thoroughly tested both furnaces... and went a step above by noticing that our water heater appeared to have a small leak at one of the valves. We purchased a new furnace and AC unit from Gross Heating & Air. The team were really good to deal with from start to finish. They had the best price and the craftsmanship of the install was excellent. The respected our home and left it the way it was before they came inside to do the work. This being my first purchase of new HVAC equipment, I had several questions during the install. The guys took the time to answer my questions without getting agitated. First class install team. I recommend these guys to to anyone.

Owen and Mike did an extremely high quality job with our HVAC replacement. They kept us in the loop each day with regard to where they were at and were great at explaining our options throughout the project.

Received a very fair price for new furnace w/ humidifier and A/C system install (Carrier). The team showed up on our scheduled day (mid-April) and were absolutely great! Clean, efficient and nice communication! Started at 7:30am and were done by 2:30pm. Showed us how to use the system and it has been running flawlessly since. Another tech came back when it got warmer to check A/C system and all good. Highly recommend!

This week I had a crew from Gross heating, install a new Unico air conditioning system. It was a week long very intense project. The crew lead was Jesse, working with James and Colton. I have lived in my house for 35 years and had many many workmen come through over the years, but this crew of workers was far and away the best I could imagine. They worked extremely hard in very warm conditions in my attic, never complained, went the extra mile to make sure every day of the week they left the house, spic and span, Answered every question I had, and just generally did an outstanding job, and took incredible pride in their work. Jesse is a wonderful leader for younger technicians to learn from his vast wealth of knowledge. I would absolutely recommend Gross heating to anybody, and they are definitely going to be our go to company for all of our heating and air conditioning needs.

Gross Heating and AC has been servicing our furnace and AC for many years and without exception, are always the most professional, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, efficient, cost effective service company we have ever dealt with. They do customer and technician service correct, right down to a T.

In the beginning of February Milwaukee was experiencing extremely cold temperatures and our 17 year old furnace (also installed by Gross Heating) failed. It was getting colder and colder in the house. We called Gross Heating and within an hour, they had a repair person at our house. It was a fairly expensive part that had failed ($837) and since our furnace was nearing the end of its life, the repairman mentioned we should consider replacing it. We contacted a sales person the next day who came out and discussed our options. If we decided to replace our furnace and AC, Gross would reimburse us for the cost of the $837 part as well as credit us for the thermostat we had replaced months earlier. They were extremely fair and yesterday we had a new furnace and AC (the outdoor unit will be installed in spring) installed. The 3 men were here from 7:15 AM until 2:30 PM. They put cloths down in order to not dirty our carpets, they wore their masks, and they cleaned up after themselves. Very professional all the way around. Thank you Gross Heating!

Our furnace died last week. In my mind the only choice was to call Gross htg. and air. I had used them last year for my a/c unit and was very happy with the service.The first crew was able to mend the furnace temporarily and keep it going through the weekend as we had work obligations.They were very friendly and polite also very knowledgeable. They explained what they were finding every step of the way. I needed a new unit though. The salesman came to the house shortly after and explained the options to my wife and I . He was very nice and explained in detail what we could purchase and how to finance. The following Monday the install crew came promptly at 8:30 am and started the installation. What a great job they did. As they were finishing, they explained every detail of the furnace and its operation. They cleaned up everything. You wouldn't even know they were ever in my house. I don't believe I have ever had a better customer service experience with a contractor in my life. Thank you ! I will with out hesitating recommend Gross to anybody.

Gross installed our new furnace, central air conditioner, Aprilaire humidifier and thermostat. Our crew, Mike, Daniel and James were on time, pleasant and professional. This was all done in one day. They thoroughly explained the extent of their work and the operation of our new equipment. We dealt with the owner, Joe Mechenich, during the proposal process. Joe is very knowledgeable and clearly explained our numerous options and provided very competitive pricing. We had used Gross for service at our former home and have found them to be very honest and reliable.

Brad and James did an awesome job. They were here in time kept a neat and organized work area. They were well educated on the installation of my new furnace. The new furnace works nice. I went with the Lennox 70k 2 speed furnace. Also I was credited with a recent furnace repair cost. Nice little perk. Thanks Gross Heating.

We are so pleased with our salesman, Jeff, who completed the primary installation design and followed up with us before and during the installation. He prepared us for what was going to happen. We were just so confident that what he told us was true and accurate. He presents as both experienced and knowledgeable.
The installation team spent nearly half a day reviewing the plan within the context of what they saw in our house then began installing. The team communicated well, usually telling us when they would leave or return. They were so neat and precise with their work. There was no mess left behind in any of the 5 rooms in which they installed the mini split units not outside where they ran the lines. Every step of the process they seemed to check and double check to make sure the work was done correctly. They even made several calls to Mitsubishi to ensure that they were correctly installing. The installation team worked well together.
In addition to the salesman and installation team we are very pleased with the Mitsubishi mini split system. It is working for us exactly as we had hoped and exactly how Jeff described it. My wife and I are totally satisfied customers and would confidently recommend Gross Heating and the Mitsubishi mini split system to anyone who asks!

I am very happy with the install of my furnace and AC from Gross Heating. The entire experience from sales to install was extremely professional. The install was nice and clean, the electrical subcontractor did great work, and the entire job areas was cleaned up after they were done. After the install was complete I had a couple of questions that were answered promptly by the office staff. I highly recommend Gross Heating.

Gross Heating and air conditioning is always very professional. We were concerned that something was wrong with our furnace. We spoke to a professional that night who was able to tell us that it was not an emergency and they would call the next morning which they did. A service person came right out. The issue was quickly resolved. The service person was very kind and knew what he was doing. I appreciated that they did not try to claim something was an emergency at a higher cost and gave us sound advice that night. In the end, it cost us less to have it fixed the next day and it was done right away with no issues. We have always been happy with them and would recommended them to others.

Have used Gross Heating for 18 years. Had an issue with my furnace today, 11/2/19. Randy was fantastic! Knew exactly what was wrong. Very pleased with the service and professionalism. Highly recommend!

Had another service call today (11/4/19) with Jacob. Different guy-same results! Very knowledgeable and professional (I seem to be picking up a pattern with Gross Heating techs). Got my furnace up and running!

Don't like Winter, but I am now prepared (at least my furnace is)...

I can't say enough about how professional everything was with Gross Heating. The salesman Jeff was extremely informative and professional. The three men doing the install, Brad, Ben, Chris, were the best. All very friendly, very protective of my house, and the install was a show piece. The attention to detail making sure everything was just right was incredible. They went through everything about how to use thermostat, the furnace, air, cleanup. And I thought their pricing was very competitive.

I would easily recommend this team and Gross anytime. The best!!!

I had a new furnace installed today by Mike and Paul. They did a wonderful job. They were on time, very efficient, and did an awesome job of cleaning up. They protected my hardwood floors. Installation of the outside piping went amazingly well. Mike went over the operation of the thermostat and demonstrated how to change the filter. They even showed concern about my cat. The whole process went smoothly from getting the estimate with Jeff. He did a thorough job of representing Gross Heating and I was very impressed with his knowledge and skills. My neighbor recommended Gross and I am very glad she did.

Had, what I consider, a large installation in a Milwaukee bungalow. Full furnace and AC unit replacement, which included three Mitsubishi units in the upstairs. Even with the shortage of AC units due to the sudden heat wave in the Northwest, Gross did a fantastic job, kept me in the loop of any changes and the install crew couldn't have been better. Estimate was the total cost - no upcharges, changes, etc. and installers took the time to walk me through any decisions as they came up.

Some companies say they will treat you like family. Gross Heating ARE family. My 5 year old grandson still asks when those 'nice guys' are coming back. Best endorsement I can ever give.

Summary - Didn't deviate from estimate. Great installation with great care. Communicative and always kept to their promise. Great crew, who treated the house like it was their house and fantastic interactions. HIGHLY recommend!

FAST: AC stopped working late one day. Called that evening and had an appointment the very next day. Issue identified and resolved within minutes.

AFFORDABLE: Condenser was ~25 years old and had a blown capacitor. Service charge, parts and labor were very competitive.

FRIENDLY: Nels quickly and professionally identified the issue and had it resolved in minutes. Had a nice chat about the situation and was provided valuable insight for the future.

As always - Gross is top notch when it comes to delivering on fair proposals and excellent work. Joe provided several options and was quick to respond to any questions. The install team of Brad & James were also wonderful. They did a great job of making sure the entire job looked like something they would be proud to have in their own homes.

Brad and Daniel are very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and super nice to work with while installing the new Furnance for my mom today. Spent time to ensure she was familiar with it.
