Bugg Tree Care took down a huge old tree that was leaning into our house and making it creak when the wind came up. Scary! They were fantastic: careful, quick, professional. And their rates were really fair for such a big job. The tree was in a tight space -- they managed to get it down without damage to the house, the yard, or the other nearby trees and plantings. Amazing, really.
Unexpected bonus? Getting to watch Colin and his team work up in the canopy, carefully engineer the angles of cuts, the tension ropes and traction needed to make pieces fall just right. Very very cool. Much of the neighborhood enjoyed the show, and several people asked for referrals. Can't recommend highly enough.

We are so happy with the work Bugg Tree Care did. They removed 18 dead/dying trees from our property and did an exceptional job taking down the trees and cleaned up the mess perfectly. They were friendly, professional, highly skilled and courteous. They made safety a priority for the crew and also for our home and other trees near the ones they were taking down. The crew clearly loves what they do and they do it well! Bugg certainly exceeded our expectations!

We hired Bugg in late summer 2021 to grind a stump and assess our back yard to determine which trees we could/should remove. They were awesome. Then, this year (2023) we needed some trees removed. They came to assess the trees and said they'd get back to us in a week with the quote. Three weeks passed without a quote. I called the office and was told I would receive a quote within a few days. It has been another two weeks and no quote. We've gone with another company given Bugg's lack of reliability and poor communication.

My neighbors and I used Bugg Tree service on the recommendation from a landscape contractor we rely on. Colin and his team were extremely professional, knowledgeable in all of the trees on our property and left our property looking pristine after taking down or trimming several large trees. They operated in a very safe manner taking great care with the surrounding homes and ensuring all of the crew were well rigged for safety. We will rely upon them in the future for our tree services.

Excellent experience all-around. Punctual, thorough, and efficient doing the work. Colin was terrific at taking the time to understand the project in advance and making sure it was implemented correctly. It was a small job but they made time to fit us in! Bugg Tree Care is amazing. I don’t often post reviews, but they warrant the extra effort! I was impressed each step of the way - from communicating with the office to schedule an assessment and then a trimming, to the arborists that showed up and obviously have a deep understanding of their profession. Our tree was in a very tight spot between our neighbor’s garage and the side our our newly built house. They took great care to make sure no buildings were scratched. They also took the time to explain to me how they were going to go about trimming it for the long term health of the tree (and safety of the buildings) - as what I was interested in initially was not practical. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this. Thank you. I highly recommend them!!

We used Bugg Tree Care to remove a dead ash tree from our back yard. The two men who showed up were very prompt and very efficient. They were able to do the entire job with out heavy machinery which was great. We were really impressed with the entire process and the fact that they were able to do the work with hand saws, chain saws and just by climbing the tree. The price to remove the tree was super reasonable and we would not hesitate to recommend Bugg Tree Care to our friends and neighbors.

From the initial site assessment, through estimate prep and scheduling, and final removal and clean-up, the work performed by Bugg Tree Care was simply exceptional. Our project involved a very large tree in a very tight spot next to and overhanging our home and that of our neighbors. Bugg Tree Care showed they were up to the challenge with the proper equipment and experienced, efficient crew. Not only was the problem tree removed, but the crew took great pains to ensure that the many surrounding trees and other plantings were left virtually untouched in the process! Everyone who worked on this project was friendly, courteous, thorough, and simply outstanding. We would definitely use Bugg Tree Service again and highly recommend them to anyone else.

We were so happy with our experience! Bugg Tree Care is top notch quality. From the free quote, honest pricing and friendly, professional staff, everything was taken care of perfectly from start to finish. We had a big, beautiful, very dead ash tree - with branches over our yard and house. The tree made us nervous with how the branches were positioned. Bugg Tree Care is an insured company, and the guys were knowledgeable and incredibly skilled. We felt so well taken care of and everything went smoothly. 12/10 recommend if you’re looking for talented, personable, efficient care.

Removed two very large trees from between two homes. The work was tricky and could have been dangerous. The crew was on time, incredibly careful to protect the homes and the people involved. Also managed to remove everything with no damage to the yards even though the ground was wet. Friendly, on-time, safe, professional, efficient. Will absolutely use them next time we need work on our trees!

Darell was a joy to work with. He gave me helpful, insightful advice that saved me from several mistakes I was about to make with some of my plantings. He inspires confidence with his wealth of knowlege. He even surprised me by recgnizing my tiny bare branch sapling as a Korean maple, not a Japanese maple. Highly recommended! I will be calling him again as the need arises for future work. Forgot to add: he arrived promply as schuduled.
