We called them after having drainage issues and sewage coming up into the basement on a Saturday late afternoon. The dispatch told us it would be 525 for the first hour and 250 every hour afterwards. Reluctantly we agreed and were told a service tech would call us for address details. The service tech called after a few minutes and said it would be 750 to come out for the first hour. I told him the numbers dispatch gave us and he said it was wrong they are not supposed to give out the quotes. We stood our ground at 525 he was reluctant to come. Finally he did after a few more minutes of trying for the 750. He was in and out in 30 minutes and the blockage was removed. He left all the blockage in a pile on our basement floor. No cleanup whatsoever. Based on this experience I would not recommend after-hours use.

The website states they are always fast and dependable and guarantee working pipes any time -- the exact opposite of what happened for me. I would recommend looking at another company if you need a drain cleaning service. I called for emergency services which was $550/hour. They were unable to provide any time frame for arrival and I ended up waiting about 8 hours. They left without fixing anything only looked at half of what was needed to determine the issue and fix the problem. I called another company the next day who fixed the issue by looking at the the of half of what needed to be assessed to identify the issue. I called the supervisor to express my concerns and only received half of my money back. I waited 8 hours for emergency services, paid $225 without a result, and then paid another company to fix the issue.

We were having an issue with tree roots in our sanitary line to the road, as well as some cast iron pipe issues that resulted in a blockage further up the line. The service we received was prompt and professional.
Our service tech was Andrew, he did a great job communicating with us and was a delight to have in our home. There was another guy who came along to look into our other issue I presume was a certified plumber. I think his name was Rich, he was very brisk and borderline rude to my wife. He didn't seem very interested in being at our home longer than necessary, or even camera inspecting our line as we had requested.
All in all I would have Roto Rooter come out again. They resolved our issues, were prompt, and came in at a reasonable price. Thank you for getting our house back to working order.

The Milwaukee Roto Rooter did an absolutely incredible job at my home.
I've had multiple plumbing companies come out to my property in Oak Creek.
Every time I have a back up in my basement the other companies just "uncloged" the pipe.
Roto Rooter let me know I had pipe that needed to be descaled .... and not the entire pipe, just at a bended area that was causing all my problems.
It's been months now and NO MORE PROBLEMS 😁😁😁❗️❗️❗️

They came out with in 30 minutes of my call when no one else would. Others wanted fee just to walk through my door. They were shockingly reasonable fast friendly and efficient. Id definitely recommend them!!!!

I called this establishment with a problem that my son was having on Friday. They came out promptly first thing Monday morning, Andrew was polite, courteous, explained everything well and kept the area very clean. I would never hesitate to refer or recommend this establishment again. Not only that but they solved the issue.

The customer service this company provides including their affordable fees, and prompt response is wonderful! The technician who did my job Ken,was truly amazing!! Very professional and knowledgeable to the work he was doing as well as very neat in keeping everything clean and organized. Furthermore, very kind in advising me of the measures in future maintenance. Their customer service is a good example of what great customer service is about. Without any hesitation, I would use their services again, as well as recommending them to anyone else. “Thanks for the great service.”

I was lucky enough for a second time to catch my basement backing up BEFORE a catastrophe happened. Saw it happening gave them a call and Rich came out and was amazing and got things cleared up and put us on an 18 month schedule. Thank you again Rich I greatly appreciate you getting this taken care of.

I have had two drain/clog issues since buying my house a few years ago that I couldn’t fix myself. Both times Roto Rooter folks cleaned it up quickly and efficiently. They have also offered me guidance on how to tackle things myself and tips on preventative maintenance for a new home owner. Their prices are reasonable and appointments are always available quick, and they’ve always been super friendly and kind! I will always call Roto Rooter Milwaukee!

Excellent service all around. From quick response to my email request to the time they were able to stop by and check out the job I needed done. Tech doing the work, Tony, was fantastic. I was really interested in the process and he was ok with me watching and asking questions while he worked. Best interaction I've had with a professional helping on an issue I was having in my house. Also gave me advice on how to mitigate possible future issues. Very impressed.

Alan and Travis went above and beyond and did excellent work unclogging our sewer drain in basement.

I took my first "L" as a homeowner and fixing my own problem, so I had to call in the experts and Roto-Rooter was fantastic. I scheduled online and they had a time slot, the tech Joel Santiago came right at the top of the suggested time slot which was awesome. Joel was very professional, came in and introduced himself, assessed the issue and then got right to work! Joel was courteous about the space and laid down protection pieces and started to snake the drains for the tub and even went above and beyond to do my sink lines as well just in case that may cause an issue later on. Now all my pipes are free of gunk and debris after 25ft of snaking. Afterwards Joel cleaned up the space since it got quite messy with the pipe sludge, when he was done, it looked like nothing ever happened, everything was super clean and put back to how he found it and of course internally better. If I ever need sewer-drain service done again (hopefully not haha), I'm calling Roto-Rooter and I am asking for Joel every single time.

Definitely came through in a pinch! Im not really excited about emergency calls on a Sunday, but it needed to be done. My tech Daniel was at my house within 2 hours and we had some major blockage in our drain out to the street. Daniel was polite and professional explaining the process to my son who was curious lol. My only area to ask improvement is going easier on the staircase with that large machine. It was a bit harsh going up and down. Otherwise, everything went great and the clog was fixed! $600 later haha…

Hi, I'm a loyal Roto Rooter customer and they've always been professional for over 10 yrs. They came within their time window, works fast, and always professional. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for, but ut I had to write a review because of my service today. I had a backup in my sewer, which I've had before, so I knew I needed some pricey fix, but they came in, looked at my problem and charged me nothing because the job wasn't a big fix. Wow, can you believe it? I'm still thanking God for this blessing, but I'm also thanking Roto Rooter for appreciating me as a long time customer. Thank you again Roto Rooter, my only go to sewer service company!

I have used Roto Rooter two times. The first time, my husband continually had to snake our drain which would reclog about every month. After 6 months, we finally called Roto Rooter! The technician was wonderful and the number of roots that came out of the sewer drainage piping was incredible. We lived in that house for two more years and never had any issues after Roto Rooter's visit. I was also surprised about the reasonable pricing for the impeccable service. Why we didn't call sooner I do not know

I have a small business as well and my toilet clogged- potentially causing me to reschedule my clients and losing income. I called the number at 7:15am and two technicians were there by 9:00am. The gentlemen that came out were very professional, solved two separate issues efficiently and tidily- completing the job within an hour and a half, right before my client arrived. The few is completely justified for the two separate issues, especially given their efficiency and timeliness in resolving the issue. Thank you! 😊

We had another company out just two weeks ago for a basement backup, but the issue came back again—so this time we called in the big dogs. Roto-Rooter sent Joel, and I couldn't be more impressed. Even though he’s only been with the company for about 8 months, he was as knowledgeable and professional as any tech I’ve met, including guys who’ve been doing this for years.

He took the time to explain what might be going on, answered all my questions without rushing, and even walked me through long-term solutions like a backwater valve. Friendly, clear, and genuinely helpful—exactly the kind of service you hope for but rarely get.

If this is what he brings to the table at 25 and under a year on the job, Roto-Rooter has a serious asset. Great experience all around. Give that guy a raise.

I also wanted to point out that after finishing he put little booties on the wheels of his machine so it didn't track sewage all the way up my carpeted stairs like the last company did! He did it without me even mentioning it so it seems like standard practice.

I will 2nd what another reviewer said. You get what you pay for! They were more expensive than the other company but so much better!

Great service and solid prices in a world full of shady service and overpriced everything. We had a clogged line on a Saturday morning. These guys answered at 7:30 AM and had someone at our house by 9:30AM. The technician John was friendly, focused, and knew how to get the job done. Did not try to oversell us on issues. In fact, it was more minor then we had thought. The price was actually half of what a different local company quoted me as a "minimum" to even come out.

This AH John Charged me $300 additional to cut a pipe that didn't even need to be cut because he was to lazy to go in from the side. He had another guy with "5 years experience" use a $5 rubber coupling with some hose clamps to reconnect the PVC pipe he cut. He didn't even clamp it properly which caused it to leak. (I said "THEY" because he brought two other bozos with him) I had to fix it myself because the guy wouldn't answer or return my text message. I sent him pictures and a text with no reply. This guys been doing this for 35 years. Would not recommend!
