We highly recommend Inland Air Systems to both contractors and individuals. The high level of customer service and technical ability is seldom found in the same company.

I have been a customer of Inland Air for at least 10 years. That will now be coming to a screeching halt. We recently moved, so on my recent call, I had a new service tech.

My system was cooling, but the thermostat was reading 78 when it was more like 68 in the room. I thought for sure it was a thermostat problem, but wanted confirmation. I was told the pressures were good, and the system was running, but I needed a new $4000 unit. After asking more questions, I convinced the tech to put in a new thermostat to see if it was the problem. Sure enough... it's working perfectly.

I was charged $244.00 for the visit. Upon reviewing the invoice, I was charged $36.00 for a trip charge, $98.00 labor, and $110 for a thermostat. I looked up the thermostat online. You can buy it for $46.99 at Walmart.

I called to ask why I was being charged such a high price for a $50 thermostat, and the answer was 1) "I don't get as good of prices as Walmart." 2) "Is Walmart going to come out and fix your air conditioner?"

Walmart might not come out and fix it, but neither will you from now on.

I love that they are family owned and operated! I also love that they have 24/7 emergency service! Also they service my home at some distance from Fairhope, AL (I don’t know if I should indicate my location because I would hate to loose their service because they get too popular)!

Inland air is very responsive. Michael has helped me on many occasions with my AC and heating questions. This family owned business has years of experience and it shows!

Mike went above and beyond what I expected. The Company was prompt. They showed up immediately. He and his Team are ALWAYS a welcomed knowledge even when the solution doesn't necessarily even benefit them financially, they do everything the right way, the 1st time every time. I highly recommend them for ANY of your air conditioning, duct work, or climate control issues.

Don't use them, period. Our contractor hired Inland to do the AC on our building extension. 10 months later when being serviced by another company it was pointed out to us that Inland never put FILTERS on the units. We contacted the building inspector, who came back out and found multiple MAJOR violations, including installing parts backwards, lack of any filters--in some cases places to even put filters. It took Inland two trips out to fix the errors. The reason it took two additional trips out is because they lied to us and the inspector stating that the fixes he required had been completed. They even refused to clean the coils which had gathered dust for 10 months due to lack of filters!

Shameful. I sincerely hope that anyone who reads this will use anyone but Inland. They clearly also have the inspectors hoodwinked if they originally allowed such shoddy unprofessional work to pass the original inspection.

The owner of this company should be ashamed.

Update--just spoke to a neighbor of mine who told me about a company who did the exact same thing to them two years ago...she told me the name of the company, and...surprise...INLAND AIR!

I have had fast responses from inland air systems and absolutely professional work. Jeff got my heater up and running quickly when it was VERY COLD.

Thanks to Michael Goram and everyone at Inland Air! Over the years they have serviced repaired or replaced several units in rental properties and recently replaced my AC at home & the service has always been great. I love my new heat pump. It's very quiet and efficient and best of all my power bill has gone down!

Inland Air took great care of us. When our equipment had a problem due to the manufacturer's error, they did not even charge for labor, although that is not covered by the warranty. They want their customers to be happy, and I am very satisfied!

STAY AWAY!!

I called this company, because my A/C unit was low on Freon. I was told the diagnostic was $42.00. I proactively asked up front. The A/C person went out and billed me for $185.00 without even filling the Freon. A very dishonest way of doing business.

The motor went out on our Carrier unit @ 7:15PM (92 degrees outside) on a Saturday evening. I called Inland Air and left a message at their answering service. Within 15 minutes, David, one of their associates, phoned and said he was on the Bayway and could be at our home in less than 20 minutes. He was! The needed part for our specific unit was not available from their supplier until Tuesday. David and his supervisor, Jeff (via cell), were able to configure a temporary solution to run our unit with another motor David had on his truck. Jeff phoned me on Monday morning to let me know our motor was being shipped by overnight air and would arrive on Tuesday for installation. We are grateful for Inland Air’s extra effort to find a solution to our urgent issue! Gene Bouchillon
