Absolutely stellar experience. The plumber, I believe his name was Joey, was kind, quick, quiet, and did excellent work. He was patient with our kitties who were curious about his work. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Give this man a raise he deserves it!

I highly recommend Cassidy Plumbing for all of your plumbing needs. I have found everyone - Tom, office personnel, and Derek - to be extremely professional and helpful. They answered every question that I had and helped me in determining what was the best course for my situation. Derek and his crew came in to do several plumbing projects for me. Derek was great to work with, and he took the time to explain what he was doing as well as what needed to be done in the future. We have had Cassidy Plumbing & Heating complete several jobs for us. We had them repair two water line leaks in the crawl space. We then asked them to replace the copper lines with Pex tubing, so no more worries about leaks. Then we had them replace our water heater and boiler. Finally, they just completed the installation of infloor heat thru out our entire house. It is wonderful!
The techs were very professional, knowledgeable, and dependable. I am very happy with the work they have done, and I highly recommend them for any and all of your plumbing and heating needs.

I can’t recommend Cassidy’s enough. I’m learning how to manage my first home, and it was such a nice change to be able to talk to contractors that seemed to care about the customer. Cassidy’s swapped me over to a tankless hot water heater after my old tank went down, and when I explained how long my family had been doing without hot water trying to figure out the best option for repair, they were incredibly understanding and helpful . The estimate was done promptly, I got a quote that was far more competitive than any other company I spoke to, and they stayed within the quoted range. Jeff did the install for us, and he was fast and explained everything he had to do for the swap to a different device. He even put caps on old venting systems that haven’t been used since I moved in. I will 100% only be going to Cassidy’s for any plumbing or heating issue I have as long as I live in Anchorage! Amazing company, and amazing customer service.

I've been a satisfied customer of Cassidy's Plumbing & Heating for many years, but that relationship is now ending. When I called them in August for my annual boiler cleaning and maintenance, they informed me that Brian Cassidy had sold the business and they were the new owners. Assuming continued good service, I scheduled my boiler maintenance.
The young plumber, Derek, showed up on time and was very courteous. He cleaned the igniter and the flame sensor and changed the condensate neutralizing media, however, he didn't clean the combustion chamber, which had always been done in previous maintenance calls by Jeff or Brian (previous owner). I asked Derek why he wasn’t cleaning the combustion chamber; he replied that there’s a fragile gasket that he didn’t want to damage in the process of cleaning. I knew there was a fragile gasket, which is why I hired Cassidy’s to accomplish the technical work that I didn’t want to try myself. I could have easily cleaned the flame sensor and igniter and changed the media, but cleaning the combustion chamber was beyond my expertise. A side note; I’ve been in the construction business for 40+ years and have a good knowledge of what kind of work I can tackle and what needs professional hands to accomplish. Boiler combustion chamber cleaning falls into the “hire a pro to do it” arena.

Derek cleaned up and said the office would send me a bill. A couple of weeks went by, before I received a phone call from a lady at Cassidy's asking to confirm my email address so they could email an invoice to me. I confirmed my email address and mentioned to her that the plumber failed to clean the combustion chamber. She said she'd ask the supervisor about that and get back to me. She never called back.
A month or so went by and I had not received an invoice. I thought that possibly she'd talked to the supervisor and he decided not to bill me because the burner/combustion chamber wasn't cleaned.
Next thing I know, I get a notice that Cassidy’s has turned my account over to a collection agency. Keep in mind, I've never to this day received an invoice! I immediately called and asked why I'd been turned over to collections without ever receiving an invoice. All she said was we emailed it.
I explained that I never received an invoice via email, nor did I receive a courtesy letter or phone call advising that my payment was delinquent! Concerned that I possibly missed or deleted their emailed invoice, I searched my deleted email folder, spam folder and confirmed that I'd never received an invoice, via email or otherwise. It's possible they used an incorrect email address.

Wishing to understand why I didn’t receive an invoice or courtesy call, I called and spoke to the office manager at least twice. She said that she would contact their accounting/billing team (which seems to be a third party) and ask for an explanation. To date, I have not received a call back.

In conclusion, though the service was incomplete, I don’t dispute the bill and will pay it to the collection agency. However, if Cassidy’s doesn’t amend their billing practices, i.e. confirming that their invoice has been received by way of a courtesy call or letter before turning good customers over to a collection agency, I suspect they will gather more negative reviews.

I called for an estimate for a simple home project and the person I talked to was condescending and didn’t listen to what I was trying to explain. If that’s how they treat people who are potential customers, I’m glad I didn’t end up using them.

Ashley arrived on time and was able to fix my copper pipe that had broken within an hour. Very happy with how quick they could get out and the price.

I called and they sent Joe out. He was courteous, respectful, knowledgeable and quick. We'll be using these guys in the future!

These guys helped me out when I was in dire straights. My boiler blew out and I had no heat at all. I called All StarPlumbing and they came out immediately to help me out. They were very professional and fast! I know who I'll be calling next time I have another plumbing or heating issue.
