Anthony was an excellent technician. Very professional and thorough. He explained the steps he took while clearing the plugged drain and answered all my questions.
He did a great job on his clean up so nothing to do on my part after he left.
I will ask for Anthony should I ever have drain issues in the future

Anthony Wiley was my service tech. He was detailed in his work and was friendly and knowledgeable. He wore shoe covers and even the auger machine had wheel booties. Kept everything clean. Worth the callout! Thank you, Anthony! Highly recommend!

Wow! Gerald was amazing! He was incredibly professional and efficient. 10/10 recommend this team. He installed our new bathtub and it’s beautiful! Gerald also cleaned up after himself, which was a wonderful surprise as our other contractors didn’t do that. Thank you!

Customer Service is TOP NOTCH. The staff up there, especially Britt, prides themselves in being problem solvers before salesman. They want to help people, and they do.

Called them for a part , with part number. Was assured they had it . Drove in all the way from the valley only to be told they didn’t by the same salesman I talked to on the phone .

Will not do Buisness with them again.

Central pluming do not take back the item purchased (refund) nor exchange even though you have proof of receipt. I would say that before you go in and buy your item from this store. Make sure you really wanna buy the item(s) or else it's a waste of time and your money. Expensive store. Not satisfied.

Awesome, friendly, knowledgeable staff. The parts department had me in and out in 5 minutes compared to "Home Despot" where the plumbing guy stood there with me for 1/2 an hour looking at the fittings because he didn't know 1/4 from 3/8ths.

These guys are expensive, but are worth every penny if you need something done right. Also, if you want to do things yourself, but have questions, they know it all. Finally, there are two days a year that everything they sell is 20% off.

Having utilized Central Plumbing many times over my 6 years here in Anchorage, I must say that most of my experiences have been positive.
However, while working on a large project, my customer decided to make a few changes to his plans, which required 2 gas pipes to require curring & threading. This customer has spent thousands of dollars on materials at Central, nd the guy that recut & thread the pipe insisted on charging $8 for the service.
This project has 3 more bathrooms, and 2 kitchens yet to be done. The petty insistence on charging $8 for threading the gas pipe alterations has cost central plumbing any chance at supplying further materials on this job.

Everyone at this shop is very knowledgeable. But their best attribute is how friendly their counter staff is, always happy to share their expertise. Thank you, team!

Have a Koehler toilet {don’t buy Koehler if you are a DYI individual} that I needed to rebuild the tank flush valve. Lowe’s and Home Depot didn’t have the this brand valve gaskets or kits{they require specialty parts, generic CANNOT be used}. Went to a local plumbing store in Wasilla where I live but no good, they’d have to order like I would. Mark here was super helpful. The entire kit with both large gaskets and the entire valve kit was less than $30. Thanks guys!

Recently my on demand hot water heater went out. We were 4 days without heat or hot water. These guys were able to provide the part I needed and provide assistance to replace it myself. They saved me hundreds of dollars. Thank you!!

I went to their store looking for a product that didn't exist (unfortunately). However, the staff spent a lot of time walking me through a few alternatives to solve my issue. They were incredibly patient and knowledgable. I've been there in the past and they've always been great!

Bought a product and was broken upon receipt, was told it needed to be packaged before shipping but there was no protective packing, just shipped in original box, company won't help replace and now I'm out $1,000. Will mever shop here again they could care less about people living in rural areas

It was because of the assistance I received from Britt that when I was unable to resolve my furnace issue (I felt it was better served to have a technician at this point) that I chose Central Plumbing and Heating for the repair. Central is the go to place for professionals and novice DIY'ers seeking parts and advice.
They provide friendly free accurate and clear advice and have saved me personally lots of money and lots of headaches.
Ever since my first encounter with the business 30 years ago, they are number one place I go for plumbing and heating problem-solving and parts.

My Furnace was out, my elderly mom sleeping on a heated mattress pad for heat. Temps single digits. I was told that they could not make us a priority above normal scheduled appt with heat because thats not how they do things there. I will never use Central again. I called Diamond and they were here in 20 min and furnace fixed in 15 min. No issues.

Awesome selection of plumbing parts and employees are very knowledgeable and readily share their experience with newbie and veteran laborers equally. They also have a showroom upstairs with a wide selection of toilets, tubs, vanities, sinks and... nice stuff that you'll never see at the local box stores.
