The friendliest and most knowledgeable supply shop in town! I’m a complete amateur when it comes to plumbing and we recently had to remodel our 70 year old bathroom due to a leaky toilet. This included replacing a ton of old plumbing for the shower, bathtub and sink. Central was always right there with practical advice for parts and how to install. Thank you so much!!!

Lenny was a life saver! Very knowledgeable and empowering. With his instructions and what he had me purchase I was able to get the water back on to my home (without a flood) and without spending an arm and a leg. Also very respected by all there and everyone wore masks to respect and protect each other.

I just completed installing a toilet I ordered from CP. They shipped it very quickly and supplied all the parts I needed. Excellent color match to the rest of the bathroom. We live in bush Alaska and have come to trust CP for our plumbing needs from a total bathroom remodel to replacing a 30+ year old toilet. Came in needing a fitting for an RV water tank, was in a hurry so the guy at the counter gave me the fitting at no charge. Was only a $3 part but was still very nice of him. Highly recommend these guys! Great service!

A flame sensor for my York furnace. They had it. I went over to get it. I just didn't expect to be fleeced. One sensor, $75. This is a 10-20 dollar part virtually anywhere else. Never again, Central Plumbing and Heating. Never again.

Our Well Control unit went out in Bristol Bay. We called Central Plumbing and Heating. They had a warm and caring staff, I felt taken care of and listen too, their customer services was outstanding. They had the part out to ACE Air Cargo within 24 hours. I will certainly use them in the future and highly recommend them for all your Plumbing and heading needs. Super Friendly staff. Called needing part, they quickly looked it up. Did not have it, and suggested ordering it from Rheem. Way nicer people then the couple places in the valley! Would do busines with them again!

Forget the big box stores; this is where you need to come. I had a small plumbing job at home, and I couldn't find the correct pipes and fittings I needed for the job - I checked both Lowe's and Home Depot. These guys were awesome. They answered my questions, gave me recommendations, and had the exact parts I needed. I'll be coming straight here next time!

While this may be a decent shop for random parts, I would not recommend any service where they bill hourly without an estimate. Go directly with a certified plumber, not through CPH

Everyone there is super helpful. I went there with an igniter part for my boiler and they were able to find the replacement for it. Mike was super nice and I can't remember the other guys name. Also a few years back, I took my brother there to find a part for his toyostove. The part he needed was out of stock, but the manager sold him the display part he needed to to get his heat up and running. I highly recommend Central Plumbing and Heating 3000%.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with one of the saleswomen today. Had called early this morning to get pricing and availability on a pressure-assist, rear-outlet toilet, and was quoted around $410. She listed what was included, and stated they had it in stock. I live over an hour away from your store, and since the price was only a little higher, and features were comparable to the one I was planning on ordering in from another supplier that was closer to me- and I was short on time to complete this project, I obtained a babysitter to watch my kiddos, and drove down to pick it up.

The toilet was in stock, but was over $200 more than she had quoted me. The gentleman who was helping me told me she was on lunch break, but if I could come back in another hour, she would know more about it, and would be able to help me out. After wasting another hour waiting around, she stated that she had read it wrong in the system, and the closest thing to an apology I got was a flippant “my bad”. She made no attempt to help me out, offer any kind of solution to the huge problem she created for me, or to retain my business in any way. Her bored dismissal of the situation, especially from somebody in a sales position, was pretty unbelievable, especially in a world where people have a lot of other options to give their business to.

I’ve worked in sales most of my adult life, and I just can’t imagine after wasting hours of somebody’s time and gas money, quoting somebody the wrong price- not even trying to fake remorse or empathy for the situation I’d created.

Everything I need for this project is coming from one of your competitors now, and I will have to be extremely desperate before I’d risk dealing with her again- which is unfortunate when she’s the face for your company.

They had what i needed and for a fair price. Im from homer and had just paid 50 dollars more down there for the same exact item. Britt was awesome. Super friendly and helpful, he also took the time to show some tips and tricks at getting the most life out of the peice. If i have any other problems i will definitely be calling them first.

Central Plumbing and Heating arrived within 2 hours of me calling regarding a broken water heater....emergency! Once arrived, the plumber installed and removed the water heater within 2.5 hours. Impressed with expediency and customer service.

This may be a normal cost, but the only downfall was that I have never heard of paying someone $160/hr for them to drive to your house and back from their workshop. From the call prior to work, I understood that this cost was only added if I didn't need to have anything fixed or replaced, which I did. It may have been miscommunication but I felt this was something I shouldn't have been paying. Overall, I recommend.

$94 job, $454 bill!

Had to wait two weeks for service, “busy time of year”. Fortunately leak was manageable. Pleasant service person, job well done.

HOWEVER, you must keep in mind they charge you for travel time TO your home and RETURNING to their business. This added $160 to my bill. When clarified with the office received, Yes, that’s what we have always done.”

Arrived 825, writing up my bill 945. Charged 0800-1015. That’s 2.25 hours for 1.3 hours work!

So the next customer is paying for the travel at the same time I am paying for the travel. Not very honorable.

We had a rough day trying to get plumbing issues handled and resolved. After wasting 3 hours at home depot we stopped here. Not only were we met with helpful friendly staff who had the time for all if our "silly" questions and patients for explaining what we needed but they went above and beyond any possible expectations of business. I can not even find words to express the kindness we found. The kindness continued after we made our purchase and were outside having some car troubles, so it was not simply a profit driven kindness. The gentleman I belive was probably the owner and his wife stayed late to be sure our issues were resolved when they could have easily just locked up shop and gone home. I will recomend pay a little more than the big box store and get the treatment every customer deserves. Fantastic customer service is so hard to find in today fast paced world.

Exceedingly knowledgeable and helpful. I went in requesting a part and they had a few clarifying questions. A few seconds later they knew exactly what part had failed, what symptoms my boiler system was exhibiting, a more practical way to fix it and what I should watch for. Both associates were chiming in with advice and were finishing each other's sentences. I didn't expect to be impressed enough with a heating and plumbing supply store to be writing a review Saturday evening but here I am all the same. I'll be going back with any future needs and you should too.

The guys at Central Plumbing and Heating are the best! All the staff that we encountered during our visit both to the plumbing store and the wood stove store were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. How refreshing to find people who enjoy their work and make customers feel so welcome and comfortable in their store! They also got us the part we needed right away that we hadn't been able to find at any of the large-chain hardware stores. We'll definitely be return customers! Thanks guys!

I don't post tons of reviews, especially negative feedback, but this time involved my mom. So fair warning.

Today my mom and I stopped by Central's store, hoping to talk to someone knowledgeable about toilets and check if they could quote a lead time for a replacement quicker than our current Lowe's order. We walked in and immediately it's confusing to navigate the space because there's a sign stating that the showroom is in "the next room", aided by an arrow pointing to the right side. Okay...

So we walked to the side where the parts are and were ignored by two employees, until the third employee finally acknowledged us enough to just look at us as if to say, "What do you want?" We asked where the showroom floor was. He gruffly replied, "Upstairs." So we went there.

The employee upstairs was with another customer. We walked around looking at items and commenting on them for almost 15 minutes without ever being acknowledged. Never even a "I'll be with you in a moment." Nothing. We left. We're now ordering a toilet from Ferguson.

I did retail for years. I've been a supervisor and a manager. I've actually worked in the plumbing industry for several years. There's no excuse for the lack of professionalism we received today. Years ago I worked for a supplier for Central and even then they were rude. As a potential customer I was hoping for a more positive experience, but this instance was even worse. We wanted to support a more local business, but oh well.

Acknowledge people who walk in the door, assist as best you can, and get a sign pointing up the stairs (or remove the sign completely and allow them to assume it's upstairs). That's just the beginning of a much needed overhaul with this establishment.

We had pipes that were frozen this morning. As it is Saturday, I could only dread how much this would cost us. The technician who called back to me gave me some really good advice about what we could do, avoiding those high charges without causing more damage. I believe that the technician was named Dan and he showed caring and concern for us as neighbors. He also assured us that if we needed someone to come out, to just call and someone would come over. That’s the way you show that your business is good for the city!!!

The staff at Central Plumbing and Heating saved my bacon today!! The receptionist was super friendly and Lenny, in parts was amazing. He sold me a rebuild kit for my frost free outdoor faucet and was super patient and helpful answering my questions. He made sure the parts were a perfect fit.
