In September 2024, our air conditioner went out during triple-digit Arizona heat. We called MechaniCool on a neighbor’s recommendation. They came out promptly, diagnosed the problem as a bad control board, and suggested we join their Cool Club membership for discounted repairs and two maintenance visits per year.

They also strongly recommended installing a surge protector and compressor saver, which cost us over $1,000. Fast forward one year — after both scheduled maintenance visits where we were told everything was in good working order — our system began tripping the breaker and shutting down. MechaniCool returned and diagnosed a failed compressor, quoting roughly $2,400 for the repair.

I’m disappointed that after purchasing a “compressor saver” and receiving regular maintenance, our compressor still failed within a year. It makes me question the value of both the add-ons and the membership. While I do appreciate their quick response times and friendly technicians, I feel the recommendations did not provide the protection or long-term savings we were led to expect.

This company is legit. They handle everything with professionalism and kindness. They go above and beyond and their cool club membership is absolutely worth it. Because of experiences I have had with other companies, I was worried a maintenance call would become expensive, that was far from the case. They came right on time, spent an hour ensuring everything was up to par and left with no recommendations and a beautifully working AC. They are a stand up company that stands behind their work. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to them!

We recently experienced issues with our AC unit not consistently keeping our home cool so we called Mechanicool. We were very pleased with their rapid response by getting an AC Tech to our home the same day. Our AC Tech was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. He provided reasons why our AC Unit might’ve temporarily malfunctioned due to a power surge. We’ve been using MechaniCool for about 8 years and we are always satisfied with our service. We always get the CoolClub membership and our units run great and we never have any problems, but if we ever do, we know they’re a phone call away and will help us quickly.

We have a mini-split in our garage and we thought it was putting off a burning rubber smell. We are subscribers of MechaniCool's Club and they sent a tech out on Sunday to check out the system. Their quick response was such a relief and the best news was our system was fine! (Odor was coming from outside.) The most amazing part was they didn't even charge me! The company you choose to install and service your new AC is almost more important then the unit itself. MechaniCool was very professional from the quote to the install. Clint was friendly and informative, he listened to all my needs and adapted the quote to what exactly what I wanted. Offered many options all being able to be customized. The install plan and details were amazing and what truly sealed the deal for me. They know what they are doing, they do it the right way by adding quality features and being transparent about it. Their prices are very competitive and I liked they were local to Queen Creek and the east valley. I have an aquarium and had to keep that room cool during the install, they were very understanding and supplied 2 portable units, even the install team was very sensitive to helping keep the room cool. Branden was the Lead on my install and I couldn't have happier with him and his team. Again very professional, friendly and communicated everything in detail. The team was on time and the install was completed in exactly the time they stated. There was a honest miss in the install plan but they were transparent about it, offered to make it right and that's what's important. I am very happy that I trusted MechaniCool for my new AC install/service and you will be too! Highly recommended!

We used this service for maintenance, and they did a great job. But the reason for my lower star review is that they gave us an estimate at the time of maintenance for preventative work. And then they emailed every day for us to approve the estimate. Once we approved it we never heard from them again. Not to set up service, to pay, anything! I've reached out a few times to check the status.... crickets. It was initially given to us in September.... and now it is almost December.

I’ve been with MechaniCool now for about 5 years when I purchased a new system from them. I signed up for the maintenance program with visits and inspection 2X per year. Technicians providing the service have always been professional informing me of any potential problems. Techs never try to upsell but do at times recommend a product or service. If my answer is no, it’s the end of the conversation, no pressure. Service today was performed by Tyrone who provided information on exactly what he inspected and that no problems were found. The service contract is reasonable. I highly recommend MechaniCool.

RJ arrived on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Took time to thoroughly answered all questions and concerns. He explained all he was doing, test results of components and how each component operates within the system. He had the parts on the truck to replace needed components quickly and still had time to explain what each part does. It always a pleasure to have any of their technicians out to check the system.

Mechanicool was professional and informative from our first assessment to install. Thoroughly explained what they would do and how our new thermostats worked. Made sure to leave our house cleaner than when they started. That's caring you don't see anymore. Highly recommend!!

I am beyond words. I truly have faith in humanity. I won't go into details, but Mechanicool basically fixed my AC and didn't charge me. I recently was in the hospital for a couple of weeks and couldn't work. My daughter-in-law had her AC worked on and had a prior relationship with the company. She explained my situation to Mechanicool and the technician said he would see what they could do. Well, they came out today and fixed my AC. I told the tech I couldn't pay today and he said don't worry about it, it's taken care of. I thought my daughter-in-law paid for it but she said no, Mechanicool took care of it. I don't know the cost, but I will make it up to them. If you believe in miracles (and I do), Mechanicool is truly a company that can be trusted. Simply said, you just don't hear about companies that do these types of things, at least without wanting to be acknowledged publicly. Mechanicool did it silently, the are my miracle. Thank you Mechanicool, I am truly grateful.
