A true expert & willing to help in anyway he can. We got a slight reprieve with a used blower motor, but clock's ticking on our 18 yr old unit. He even provided a portable to get us through. I needed to replace my heat pump. I got three bids. American Cooling and Heating in the form of Scot, the owner, won my business when he said, "You pay nothing until you are cool and happy." And he made sure I was.

Scot did everything he promised and more, kept in touch several times a day on the day of the install, his crew was aces and went way beyond what I expected, even getting me the proper size filters from Home Depot at no charge.

If you hire this company, you will not be sorry.

Three yrs after, the part in my heat pump went out and Scot sent someone PDQ to replace it...Again--super service.

We were supposed to get out new unit installed on a Thursday, they didn't have the right part, of course they blamed the manufacturer. Then we waited another week. Finally got it installed and a few days later it doesn't work. It was a Saturday and not only did the number hang up on me but then no one answered. 24/7 is not something they do. They use the "based on availability is what the website says" BS! It's a joke. I will not be recommending them to anyone I like. Especially in AZ 24/7 should be taken very seriously and advertised accordingly.

AMAZING SERVICE
I would give 10 stars for this amazing service with Scott and his team. I had 3 quotes, and I selected this company. The other 2 were Carrier and Bryant a knock off to Carrier. Scott’s team delivered a 3 ton Trane the “BEST “ in heating & cooling!
Kyle was here for the installation and was dynamite! He explained everything in steps to ensure I knew what they were doing and what I was paying.
When you’re thinking of purchasing a new unit beware of the hidden cost as they are installing your unit. Scott gave me the price and after installation that is exactly what I paid. There were no “hidden” fees added on the day of installation.

Scot offers a reasonable price with an install that is done right. The process was fast and easy to replace one of our HVAC units and the install crew led by Oved was professional and efficient getting the old unit out and installing the new one. I would certainly use Scot for any future work and request Oved again as the install lead!

I had an appointment window of 8- noon and at 2:30 while sitting in a house that id 92 degrees i called for a second time to see when or if a tech was coming. I was told he was running late a day would be another hour to hour and half. I physically couldnt remain in the house to wait so we rescheduled for 10-2 pm the next day. At 6:54 am that next day I get a general text about a technician being enrolled and a link to track his route. That link didn't show any tech location and even on there the window showed 8-noon so I text that number back to confirm since we are staying at friends due to the house being too hot to stay in. I got no response so I called the number and got a message it was after hours and to leave a message so I waited. I get a call from Kyle the tech at 7:50 saying he was at the house. I told him the situation and I was 20 minutes away due to disorganized time planning. He said he couldnt wait and I was notified he was coming. I tried to explain what I was told by the scheduler and my attempts to confirm but they still canceled the service and said they would need to find another service company. Very disorganized and poor communication. Not sure how they are a 5 star company as I wouldn't use them no matter how desperate I am to get AC fixed!!

Scot the owner was very informative, answered all my questions and did not try to up sale me, I believe him to be honest and trustworthy and would highly recommend him to anyone which were are doing already, his price was 6000.00 less then the company we had already put a 5000.00 dollar deposit down with. both my wife and I are thrilled with the whole package, he was able to do a same day install that took about 6 hours Todd the Technician had the same attributes as the owner and was very professional

I’m glad I called American Cooling & Heating. They were fast, courteous, and communicated throughout the process. I have dealt with multiple AC problems throughout my lifetime and they were by far the easiest to work with. They earned their five stars.

I received three quotes before I decided to go with American Cooling & Heating. Only one of those quotes was from a company with the fancy advertisements on the side of their trucks. They were $10,000 higher!!

Replacing an AC is really a difficult job if the air handler is in the attic. A very hot job!! Do yourself a favor and remove any obstacles to the attic access. Also anything you have stored in the attic. The faster they can get it installed the faster you’ll be cool.

Remember, this is 2025 and the AC units are more expensive beginning this year because they have to meet new federal regulations.

I am SO glad I found this company. After a couple of dog and pony shows with sales people at other valley companies, it was so refreshing to talk to Scot and hear his honest recommendation and reasonable pricing for purchasing and installing a new A/C unit. Todd worked alone all day at my home and was very professional and thorough with the installation.

My new A/C unit has been working beautifully since with no issues whatsoever and it is so much quieter than my old unit. It is so refreshing to finally have peace of mind and I feel confident that I will be cool all summer long. Scot and his team did a great job installing two new Trane AC units. I highly recommend American Heating and Cooling for your AC needs.

They installed our AC unit about 5 years ago or so. They have been extremely easy to work with. They have honored the warranty and they have also accommodated us when our HOA had roofers move our unit for roofing. American Cooling went above and beyond to ensure the unit was installed properly after the roofers and kept our warranty in effect. Couldn't say enough good things after these 5 years

Unreliable, unfortunately I can't give a review about a company who does not show up for an appointment or have the decency to call and cancel. But I can tell you how this company rescheduled an appointment and than did not show for the 2nd appointment. Reliability is an important trait for a business and they are unreliable.

Definitely a 5 star review! They were super responsive on a Sunday when our AC stopped working in 115 degree weather! Miguel worked until 10pm on a Sunday night to get our AC operating temporarily before replacing the unit. Scot was fair with pricing on a new unit, was prompt on the install, did a great job on the install, is very knowledgeable and professional and would definitely recommend. Really great experience!

My new Ruud unit is the best brand out there and surprisingly affordable - and I did my research. Scot is super to work with, professional and knows his stuff.

Had a service call from agape through a referral and they came out as quickly as they could and they solved our problem and they were very honest and their prices were fantastic would highly recommend the owner john was great.
